Employees are liars and management doesn't care about customers

When their delivery drivers went to the wrong house, they canceled my order because they said they couldn't verify where I lived. Even though everyone in my house said that they never showed up at my house, and they were not on the video cameras, I still got screwed because they canceled the laptop order that I placed. I needed that laptop for work, but the manager didn't seem to care. in fact, she almost seemed giddy about telling me that she canceled my order. Stay away from this place. if you're smart, you won't use this Aaron's at all . I cannot warn you enough.

Don’t Purchase Samsung Refrigerators

We have been long term customers of Aaron’s linden ave (Ohio). Purchased 2 refrigerators, and they both caused water damage to the floor and stopped working. Samsung and Aaron’s have done nothing about it! Do NOT BUY refrigerator from Aaron’s. Total spent in 4,683.53 in refrigerators to not work 😡😡😡😡😡😡

The whole ordeal from ordering my purchase to delivery was one of the best
Brain was fantastic though he probably wouldn't think sense he got turned around he was a real camper through it all so I feel all went well one of the best delivery person I've ever had with Aarons

HELPFUL REVIEW FOR OTHERS...PLEASE READ.

My honest opinion on my Aaron's furniture purchase experience.If you are searching through reviews before deciding to buy furniture from this retailer I beg you NOT TO THROW YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY away.My husband purchased several pieces of furniture plus a washing machine.The 'smart washing machine' gave out after 1 year, the recliner's arm rest busted (cheap wood)and splintered through the cheap material,I cut the palm of my hand on the couch with a large sharp staple that is protruding out the back part,on further inspection we found 9 more.Material looks terrible and loose.The other couch has a hole where stitching has come undone on the pillow back part. Thread is so thin and breaks easily.The couches should last longer than a year,in the old days they lasted forever. That's not the case anymore, they buy wholesale from a country where products are made cheaply just to make more of a profit from customers who work too hard for their money.A wise word to you is find better,keep looking,save a bit more money goo buy quality that will last many years to come.

I will never buy anything from an Aaron’s again after I pay off my items I have nothing I have bought from them last to long I have bought over 10,000 dollars worth of stuff from them and at least half of it I do t own any more cause it either fell apart or broke there fiend ut not that good ideal with the Middletown ny store and I had bought three different couch’s which fell apart and now in the garbage three laptops two crashed on me and in the garbage cause once you pay off things they are no longer under warranty and I bought a stove from them which I still have but falling apart that I had to get fixed rugs which fell apart and didn’t last and a tv that they told me before I paid if ifc that they fixed it but I made the last few payments on it then it died and that is now in the garbage I started to buy my stuff else were cause I don’t want to deal with Aaron after my last few things are done with the payments plus I bought a fireplace from that that broke

My experience with Aaron’s will always…

My experience with Aaron’s will always be a negative Bc of management and the people there. If it wasnt for my daughter passing during Covid I wouldn’t have went back to them and we were in need of a decent stove and fridge. And I see they are the same way. They talk down to you, they say they help but if you don’t pay within that same day, they blow your phone up and become rude individuals and charge late fees within couple of days. I was told late fees after the next day they charge. I currently have a fridge and soon as it’s paid I’m completely done with Aaron’s. I don’t recommend anyone getting anything to them Bc you will be disappointed not with the merchandise but the people who work there within the store. They forget customers make their paycheck and if you constantly downplaying customers and talking to them the way that I have, you will lose a lot of people. Every complaint made isn’t looked at seriously and if enough people complain maybe the problem would get solved. I will finish paying for the item I have but this time Aaron’s has lost me as a customer and every chance i get I will tell my experience to prevent other people from falling traps to the bad customer service once a customer can’t pay or things come up.

The Aarons in Moultrie Ga ended up…

The Aarons in Moultrie Ga ended up disappointing me (loyal customer for over 5 years throughout FL and Ga)!!!!! I've purchased so much from them as well as sent new customers who as well purchased from them.
So I worked in another state full time and when I decided to return a item, Aarons claimed they were short staff and couldn't come get the items then. I explained to them that I'll be back at work not able to be home for them to come another time soon.A few days later they started demanding their item back since they had help now. I reminded them I'm working out of town which is why they needed to have gotten their belongings then when I was off for three days. One of the drivers left me a very nasty note (written in their handwriting) being unprofessional. I continued several attempts to get them to come on my days off. Long story short, they were very unprofessional and eventually they came on my day off.
This happened a while back but I'm just now remembering that I can leave an online review.

I was wanting to rent a PC from Aarons…

I was wanting to rent a PC from Aarons so I applied online. Now I make 4k + monthly and gave all my info on the application I filled out on their site's app, it says 2-3 days shipping. I filled out the app on a Sunday 5-15-22 come that Thursday I inbox Aarons and told them I haven't heard anything back from them and their shipping tracker is saying"In progress" I was just wanting some info and I haven't heard back from them one way or another. This is day 5 I get a reply back saying "It's in progress" OK I know this and said this to you. I try to give you a few days to see what happens. I woke up this Sunday 5-22-22 to an email saying "We can't approve you at this time" That's fine but at the least, they could have called me and told me what's going on so maybe I can fix it. I haven't rented anything sometimes because the prices are so high, guess this was a blessing, their communication just sucked all around you would think they would want someone's business and try to communicate with them to get it. This is why these companies are dying off slowly in my opinion. No business sense. I only give them a 1 star because they gave me nothing as a customer to give back.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!

The store in Goodyear Arizona, does not know what they are doing. Giving you the run around for sooooo long till I had to cancel my order. Ugh I am so frustrated. If you want a headache eal with them and their unprofessionalism. Especially Tameka at the Goodyear store on Dysart. She is so rude and unprofessional and she half does her job then blames the customer for her mistakes.

Buyer Beware

Husband and I added a refrigerator on to our existing account. They promised us a delivery between 12p and 3p today. Sent 1 delivery person, who didn't know what they were doing, got it off truck, set it on sidewalk, pretended to measure door, and claimed it wouldn't fit. Said he'd be back later with help, got phone call stating other driver hurt wrist and "conveniently" has to reschedule until tomorrow. Now whatever food I could salvage in old freezer is ruined, no compensation for that, and out my time.

Scam

After 11 months of paying online my online account suddenly stopped working. I called and was told it would be fixed. It was never fixed for 8 months. I finally fixed it myself and noticed they had been charging me $20.00 a month for "in home collection" because I was paying over the phone not online. I tried to fight it since it wasn't my fault I couldn't pay online...but they didn't listen or fix it. Then, my 24 month lease was paid in full on April 21st ...I got the payoff notice and everything yet I was called 7 times a day and had them pounding on my door 3 times a day every day in May and June. I paid while I contacted corporate to fight this. Corporate saw that it was in fact paid and said they would take care of the local store as well as my over payment but...they kept calling and coming by every single day.

Terrible Customer Service

Never dealt with a company whom needed communication nor customer service training more than this one. We ordered a washing machine which was supposed to be delivered Friday June 4th. After not hearing anything by 4pm on the 4th we called since the store closes at 6. We were given several excuses about why it was not delivered and also told they cannot contact their drivers in the field. We were informed we would be called Saturday to see if they could deliver it then.

We never got a call back, so we called again on Saturday afternoon and were told the person whom was to deliver was off on that Saturday. We called the 1-800 today at around 5:45pm (June 7th) to cancel the order as we will buy one elsewhere and we're told they could not cancel because it was in route for delivery. According to tracking, it is NOT on a truck for delivery but PENDING delivery and tracking stated they would call to schedule delivery...

With minutes to spare before the store closes at 6pm, we called and we're told they would let "Mike" the delivery driver know Wednesday when he comes in that we canceled our order. This is pretty laughable for any business, not sure what the deal is in Abingdon, VA but some management could use a few fire logs under their chair. Now I am going to bet my order never gets cancelled and they try to deliver here without even so much as a phone call.

I am paying monthly for a bedroom set…

I am paying monthly for a bedroom set and if you're not familiar with how the payments work, you're paying a certain amount for each item that comes with the set. So when they delivered the bedroom set, they were completely aware that they did not bring my mirror. No explanation as to why. So you would think that the store would set up another delivery date to bring the mirror or they would deduct that item from my agreement. Wrong and wrong. For 8 months I've been paying for an item that I've never seen and the store is so dishonest they're just taking my money. My bill is also set up to where my payments are due the 15th of each month but they are considering the payment late if not in by the 14th. There have also been attempts of trying to automatically deduct payments from my account when I am not set up for automatic payments, I pay everything online on my own. I will never rent from them again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Aarons is a great company to purchase…

Aarons is a great company to purchase furniture, kitchen appliances, televisions, computers and more. Watt Ave store in Sacramento makes sure your products purchased are exactly what you ordered. Renting is great, but to rent to own is even better! I will not use any other rent to own store, I am completely satisfied!

While looking for living room set at…

While looking for living room set at other places were told would have to order, approximate 12 weeks to get. and 125 dollars to delivery. Went to Aaron's found exactly what we were looking for. was delivered free next day. everyone were very helpful. price was same as other places. VERY satisfied with our furniture.

So my mother is disabled and has a weakness on the left side of her body due to several strokes simultaneously. Bought a dryer from Aaron’s in cash. They brought the dryer to her house but refused to hook it up because she was not on a payment plan. Wow!

Never had any issues with this company

Never had any issues with this company. I bought a tv and a laptop from them in the past when I had credit problems. You do pay a lot more but it can help people with credit problems who need electronics or furniture they probably can't afford to or don't want to pay for it all at once.
