Avoid this company

Avoid this company - the worst repair service I have ever encountered. Called in to fix an issue with a fridge not working at top. Completely broke fridge after charging around £200 and then said get a new one!

If I could give zero sta⭐☆☆☆☆ – Absolutely Appalling Service – Avoid AA Service UK at All Costs!rs

If I could give zero stars, I would. AA Service UK is hands down the most unprofessional, incompetent, and dishonest company I’ve ever dealt with.

I called them to repair my Samsung tumble dryer, and they charged £120 just for an inspection. Their so-called “diagnosis” was that the PCB was faulty — which was later proven false by Samsung.

I went ahead and paid £309 for them to replace the PCB, but the issue remained exactly the same. The dryer only produced heat for about five minutes before stopping again. They left without properly testing or resolving the problem.

After contacting their customer service multiple times, they eventually admitted they had no idea what was actually wrong with the machine! What was the point of the “diagnostics” then? To make matters worse, they said they’d need to charge an additional £470 to come back and “check again.”

This company is a total scam — poor diagnostics, no accountability, and shocking service. I’m only giving one star because there’s nothing lower. Avoid AA Service UK at all costs.

Paid for a “repair” that never worked
I called AA Service Team to fix my fridge freezer. On the first visit, the technician regassed it — I paid for the labour and gas (more than £200). When it still wasn’t cooling properly, they came back a second time and changed the dryer filter (no charge foe labor that time, but the filter cost about £200).

A few days later, the fridge stopped working again. When I got back in touch, they told me that engineer realized that it was actually beyond repair and not worth fixing. Basically, I’d already paid for work that didn’t solve anything.

They said the repairs were done “in good faith,” but that doesn’t change the fact that my fridge never worked after they touched it. I asked for a refund for the first visit, but they refused.

Really disappointing service — I feel like they should’ve known from the start that it couldn’t be fixed instead of charging for something that made no difference:(

AA Service UK Ltd Clever and Cunning

Unfortunately some get sucked into the online invitations to treat. I see 2.5 stars here, I saw 4.3 stars elsewhere. I am requesting my money back for two unqualified engineers, one whose English was not easily understood, sent to repair a water leak but instead flooded my whole floor with gushing out water. They hung around waiting to be paid and really gave a false Diagnostic report ! DO NOT USE this company.

IF YOU SEE THIS RUN

Called out for emergency fridge repair, they sent a engineer who claimed it was fixed, took payment and jetted off. When called back he said it needed new parts, then the nightmare began! Every visit required new parts, basically replacing everything untill it worked. All guesswork! Never fixed the fridge, £200 worth of food and meat gone, hundreds more on take away. 6 weeks later, cut loses and bought a new one!

Can't fault this company at all...

Can't fault this company at all to be honest. Called them yesterday, organised a home appointment for tomorrow, they called this morning to ask if I wanted someone to come this afternoon instead. Very friendly and competent guy turned up, assessed the issue and fixed it within 45 minutes. Now we have a working mixer. Good price. Recommended.

Do Not Use!

This is a firm to be avoided. Having mis-diagnosed the problem with our fridge, they undertook two repairs which did not resolve the fault at all. When I challenged the charge of £150, they eventually offered me a refund of £55, which I reluctantly accepted. I have never received the refund, despite having chased them for weeks.

I was impressed with this company

I was impressed with this company - so I am surprised to read the negative reviews as that was not my experience. From my first phone call to enquire, I thought AA service was clear about the costs and the timescale for a visit. The engineer was v helpful. He diagnosed the fault and when the price for the parts was available a couple of days later AA contacted me to agree whether I wanted to proceed and told me what the price would be. The engineer revisited and fitted the parts. The timescale was very quick.

Dishonest

Dishonest! I book service they send e mail with the price including congestion charge ( even if i am not in congestion charge) and on the day of booking they send new price. When i called they told me , cogeston price was not included...yes it was and justification to increase price again with sam excuse is just plain dishonest

I reached the team for repairing my…

I reached the team for repairing my dishwasher. The technician didn't give the exact part number which was required and also couldn't source the part as their store man mentioned it will take 4-6 weeks to source the part. I contact the manufacturer directly and could source the required part.
However, the technician couldn't fix the part. And for the revisit again wanted to charge for the call out fee. Very very poor service. Domex came in and fixed the entire issue seamlessly.

Not Fixing the problems properly

They came 4 times to fix one of the freezer, Cost almost 1k in labour and parts, every time with different reasons and last repair lasted 1 month and been asking for payment again for come to check again. Why can't they identify the problems and get it fixed not saying the first time, but in the first couple of times at least. Engineers came 6 times include investigating and it's very costly.

Director Iva Stoyanova should intervene

I hope Director Iva Stoyanova sees this as I have not yet received a response from her. I have concerns about the reliability of the repair company’s associates. We were charged £259 for a machine part, but only after making the payment were we informed it would take four weeks to arrive. We decided to cancel our order right away, but now we are having difficulty getting our money back and have not received any responses to our calls or emails.

07/09: issue has been going on since mid-August. Still not refunded.

I agree with all the other reviews.
This company is totally incompetent.
I have never quite experienced anything like it.
They misdiagnosed, made us pay for wrong parts, sent the wrong engineer, we are exactly where we started, after seven visits from them. They wont give us our money back and have stolen £644 pounds from us. They are trying to get us to pay for buttons they ordered that didn't work. We have email evidence of everything so if they try to deny this or continue their pattern of denial and lying please reach out and we will show you all the proof. We are now having to take legal action against them.
We learnt this is a non regulated industry so they are allowed to carry on with their incompetent, scaming ways with no consequences and you will end up having to take legal action yourself.
DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS!
We are a brand new business and this company has made everything so difficult for us, we really don't want the same to happen to you.

The worst service I have ever had

The worst service I have ever had. Don't know where to start with this - every interaction was of the lowest quality. We were charged £500 in parts as we were told they were required to fix our fridge freezer by the first engineer, only to be told by a second engineer that it was unfixable - this after a one week delay in the parts coming due to further incompetence. I then called to try and get some sort of compensation for the parts which have been completely unused (one of which the engineer even took back brand new), but was refused any kind of compromise, even when they are covered by a 1 year guarantee. No attempt at a compromise was made. I would recommend anyone steer clear of this company

AWFUL service

AWFUL service. They came home, as agreed, but left with my coffee machine, telling me it would take max 48 hours to repair and return. It took 3 weeks (and only because we called every day to enquire about status). They charged extra fees. I ended up paying my coffee machine a second time... But I had no choice they had my machine. On the appointment to return the machine, someone showed up to collect a machine... I had to reschedule delivery to another day. Machine was eventually delivered, but not working... They now want to charge me again to repair the piece they broke. AVOID AA SERVICE UK LIMITED!!!

Slow, rude and a waste of money

I called to arrange repair waste disposal - and was told they would visit and fix it or quote to repair or replace - they failed to show up to first appointment then at rearranged appointment charged £48 to confirm it was broken (!) I am still waiting for a quote to repair / replace - and have phone twice to ask - terrible customer service on the phone don’t seem to care that customers are having to wait - definitely would not recommend. Update - AA Service have since sent a quote and have apologised / said this is not their normal service.
