This has happened twice now
This has happened twice now. Had an appointment with a mobile mechanic for a AM slot (09:00-12:00) on both occasions they didn’t turn up in the morning, they turn up between 15:00-15:30 which is just half an hour to an hour before their PM slots end. Absolutely ridiculous service and they “kinda” blame saying crap like: oh I have got the wrong parts blah blah blah!!
I don’t think I will use the mobile mechanic again after this! Full day wasted!

Slow communication
Communication was poor due to the garage having to communicate to AA who then had to get approval from me. Took 3 days to get a tyre change. Will be booking directly through the garage next time as adding the AA into the equation just wasted time.

Terrible service
Terrible, paid hundreds for MOT & service, came back a day late, and service lights still on..That was 2 weeks ago, ringing AA, email sent ignored. Will stick to Halfords again, shouldn't have bothered changing. Still unresolved. Massive complaint going in.

Convenient to have it at home
Convenient service and great employees
This is a really convenient way to get an oil change on my car. I was able to book an appointment within 3 days. A very pleasant and helpful gentleman arrived to do the work. There was also a message on my dashboard advising that tyre pressures were low and he checked these for me as well. Highly recommend this service.

I booked a car inspection online and…
I booked a car inspection online and paid the fee. The AA have failed to acknowledge this in any way and have not given me a date for the performance of the inspection. Furthermore, their Chat service is wholly useless and consists entirely of largely untrained staff passing the buck onto other people for half an hour or so until the session expires

Perhaps a blessing in disguise
Was told to take the car to the garage for 08:30 hrs. I was there on time, but at 09:00 hrs I had to ring the garage as the shutters was still down and no sign of life / operational activity. Phone was not answered, 09:10 rang AA Smart Care but they can't access my account as computer network not working. 09:15. I drive away as I don't trust this service to carry out any form of maintenance on my car.

Everything just went to plan
Everything just went to plan, kept me updated about my booking. And was on time, Shelly mobile mechanic was absolutely spot on. Great job cleaned up after her work was complete. I would definitely use this service again. (I had my brake pads and discs replaced) and they used decent parts not the budget ones aswell.

Quick and efficient
Don't use this service
Firstly, your instructions were to drop my car off at 8am. Was at the garage for 8am, it didn't open until 9am so an hour waiting. Was told the car would be ready for lunchtime, by 1.30 we hadn't heard anything so we rang the garage. They then proceeded to say they couldn't tell me anything about my cat, their contract with you meant you had tp contact me. Tried to ring your number on your booking email; it isn't in operation at a weekend. Had to go on tje gvt website to find out the result of the MOT, apparently failed due to rear calipers and over tight handbrake. Rang the garage back to advise we knew what the fail was, initially receptionist kept insisting we had to speak to tje AA but eventually offered to get a quote for the brakes. Came back with nearly £500 pounds. Declined that and said we were on our way to pick my car up. Got tp the garage, the owner seemed oblivious to us being there, the mechanic came over and remarked the parts wouldn't be there til Monday, was perplexed when we said we had said no tp the repair. Then he proceeded to try and explain what was wrong with the calipers but to quote my husband who is familiar with mechanics, he was making it up as he went along. Finally got my keys and left. Monday took it to a local garage, it passed first time, no mention of handbrake or calipers. So either the first garage was crooked or incompetent or both. Either way, would never use them or this service again. It used to be that you could wholly trust the AA and their recommended garages but obviously not any more. You then took two weekd to take the payment. Seriously doubt I will renew my membership following such shoddy and poor service.
