My car supposed to be back the same day…
My car supposed to be back the same day before 5 o’clock but I got my car back the third day I paid £200 for the service and £120 for Taxi. It’s cost me very expensive.

AVOID - Was a smooth online experience, however the car game back with a large engine fault from one of their partners garages - they haven’t resolved it and told we can’t drive the car. Will likely end up needing legal support.

Booking was a disaster
Booking was a disaster. I originally booked a service and MOT with a pick up from my home and a drop off. This is the first time I have tried this. I booked a week in advance. On Friday before service I was informed the garage couldn't pick up car only drop off. I phoned Prestige who managed the booking on Saturday to confirm I would still go ahead and just have it delivered back. When I arrived on Monday morning I was told they couldn't deliver it back either. So a whole day was ruined. Had to cancel plans and return later that day. I must point out that the garage was not to blame and they carried out a very good service and MOT. The garage told me that they had communicated to Prestige that they could not pick up or deliver immediately after the booking. But prestige didn't tell me until five days later, and then it was still the wrong information. So in all, five emails, five text messages and two phone calls from the booking company and all with the wrong information. 15 minutes before I took the car in they were still telling me that the car would be delivered back. I did phone again to make a complaint on the same day as service but although they said they would get back to me, they didn't. AA needs to review their booking system with Prestige. All in all, great garage, terrible booking service from Smart Care /Prestige.

I booked AM before 12. Arrived after 2pm
I booked an AM before 12 slot which arrived after 2pm. I was supposed to receive a call in the morning with an idea of my time slot which I didn't receive. I phoned several times to find out what was happening and was told the driver had a long way to drive.
The job it's self was good hense getting some stars!

Excellent service. Very polite , helpful, friendly. Competent . As I am a wheelchair user they collected and delivered my car . The car was booked in for the day , but it was brought back within 2 hours all work completed. Highly recommended. The price was very reasonable. The booking process online was easy .

As a new driver, the idea of booking and getting a service done felt overwhelming but it was easy breezy with AA. The garage did a great job too

Smooth process from start to finish, collection was on time and work done prompt, very friendly and helpful pick up driver as well
Poor service and aftercare
AA/Garage did not inform me in advance that they would not be able to source the fuel filter to carry out a full service. I will now have to take the car to another garage to see if I can get that done. AA did not even explain this until I pressed them on the issue using their WhatsApp chat service. When I pointed out that if I had not pressed them I would never have known that the filter still needed to be changed they said "as there is nothing else I can do to assist I am now closing this chat". Then to deter you from bringing a complaint they prevent you from using the same chat service and require you to email in. You cannot even speak over the phone with an individual in order to save you some time, effort and money!

Sending mechanics out without…
Sending mechanics out without diagnostic meters on modern cars is impossible to diagnose a problem on a modern car mechanic hasn't got a diagnostic meter. All they're doing is telling customers made up things. What's wrong with the car without diagnosing it trying to get an answer out of A A, why the mechanics do not carry this and they keep avoiding it. It's like a boiler engineer, turn it up without gas analyser so amateurish
