RAC Mobile Mechanics Reviews 

Had the appointment booked for nearly a week, made sure space was available around the car.
No call, just an email informing me they had cancelled & rearranged the booking for a weeks time. This date wasn't good for me, but no consultation just told of the new date.
Not the 1st time being let down - so I can't recommend.

They were a professionals in many ways. This is my first experience having a service at home. The communications were exceptionally good, The mechanic was very polite and knowledgeable and on time also having this service was also a pre MOT in many ways .Good advice I am hooked now. Nothing was to much trouble for them from start to finish. They places a sheet under my car and coned it off, Safety in mind before the service was started, I used to take my car in first thing in the morning for a service and received a call 15 minutes before they closed for the day. They always said my wife couldn't get through to contact you, Happily no more of those in the future. You got to give this a try

Ryan Price was very good and pleasent. Ryan just gave car a good bill of health. Just driving belt. Which he gave me a quote for. But he was not pushy, which was nice.

This was such an easy process from start to finish. After booking a full service that included a diagnostic, I was contacted by RAC several times leading up to the appointment to explain how things would work and as promised, on the day I received a message that morning and another about 10 mins or so before they arrived to say they were on their way. After checking the car was in a suitable location, the RAC guy just got on with it. He explained what he would do in line with what I’d booked and when he’d finished within a hour or so, he confirmed what work was done, took the payment and said all the details will be e-mailed. Thankfully there were no issues with the car but he did advised I’d probably need break pads in a few months time something I was concerned about. He was punctual, pleasant and friendly. I would totally recommend this home car service for convenience, speed of getting the work done- within an hour, the of comfort knowing you are getting what you need and not being shocked by a large list of items you don’t need (& a big bill) plus the cost was a lot less than a service at the dealership. Plus, the RAC will stand over the work. Win, win in my opinion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been with the RAC for very long time. This my 1st time using an RAC mechanic. The communication was not very good and I feel that for the job that qas done it was well over priced. The mechanic that came to our house was very polite, courteousand informativeseemed very knowledgeable about what he had to do. Will i use the RAC mechanic again ? maybe not. But I will continue with rac recovery.

What made the experience great is? I didn’t have to move from my house. The mechanic came to us and they did the job. What was needed to be done.

Ally arrived on time and continued to keep me informed about the repair. I was most impressed with the service.

I found the mechanic very helpful in explaining what he was doing.
He finished his task in good time and was courteous throughout the time he was with us.

My mechanic was called Jamey and he kept me informed of times of arrival and did a good job on my car.He covered my driveway with tarpaulin to protect it and explained what he had done. Would recommend him.

the RAC came out very fast when i broke down last week, I only had to wait 40 minutes, they gave me the option for a mechanic to come to my house and fix the car, which was very handy as i would of needed to get it towed otherwise. also he got my car started and made sure i got home safely and followed behind me the day i broke down, when the mechanics turned up at my house to fix the car they were vey fast at getting it done

arrived when expected, courteous, worked efficiently, cost was a bit high though

Excellent service! Alex 8567 was super helpful and informative. Answered all my concerns and patiently waited for me to sort payment out as had a few issues. Very professional and pleased with first service with RAC.

Following my contact with the RAC they arrived the same day I called & told me what was wrong. I was then referred to the RAC Mechanic Dept. They contacted me by message to inform when the repair would be carried out. The date they gave me was better than others I contacted. Good price too. The mechanic ( Alex Tovey ) was very pleasant & worked continuous. Gave me a rough time it would be done in & advise following the work which will be useful in the future. Any questions I asked I was giving advise & which you don't always get the truth. Thanks again Alex & of the RAC

A brilliant job carried out by a friendly who took time to explain the technology in replacement.

What an excellent service.
I can’t fault anything.
I highly recommend using RAC service than going to a main dealer or other garage.
It is convenient and much cheaper than a main dealer.
Rob was excellent and courteous and very competent at his job.
I will definitely use them again.
It was so easy to book using the online booking.
