AVOID
AVOID! service was useless. For 99£ Ive got 5 minutes of torch searching and declaring “aux belt slipped off”, when I told exactly same to mechanic when he showed up. Disgusting service. He said that he cant help as its 4 hours job. What? He recommended to use some another garage. What? Completely useless and waste of money

Response time for appointment was very quick and follow up appointment was also quick. Price to complete the work was very competitive, the mechanic who attended was very knowledgeable regarding my vehicle, he attended on time and was very efficient .

Double charged
Double charged. Absolutely awful, the RAC have charged me twice for a mobile service, once from a pre-transaction and the other by cars. Customer service saying it will take 8 weeks just to respond. Terrible customer service, and I will be cancelling my membership immediately.

Knight In Shining Armour
Brentwood Essex 18/7/26 3pm . Reported break down of flashing engine management light while teaching a student to drive.
Dave arrived on time as tx message predicted .
He could not have done more to get my car up and running again, he went above and beyond!
With an early driving test on Monday morning and no way of repairing my car over the weekend, he was a knight in shining armour.
He was friendly, chatty and very informative of what he was doing.
Clearly a very experienced and knowledgeable mobile mechanic.

Very good service
The mechanic who attended our vehicle (his number was 8315) was friendly, polite and completed the job quickly and without any issues.
We were kept informed of his arrival time and he turned up with the correct replacement part.
He took the time to answer any questions I had and kindly test drove the vehicle after repair, at my request, as I was unfamiliar with the area due to being on holiday there.
All in all, a credit to the RAC.

Service carried out professionally
Service carried out by 8577 (how awful I have to call him by a number!). A very polite yet friendly mechanic. He was quick, tidy and efficient; he explained what he had found and what he had done. Even took time to give advice to a learner colleague, which I thought was an excellent example of helpfulness. The feedback form from the service came through promptly and clearly stated what checks had been carried out. I really should have been using the RAC for service since I joined in 2009!
