Needed some new windows and a conservatory door. Visit from rep was professional and polite. Quote was just what I was looking for and the following installation was top notch. Service was excellent throughout. Would highly recommend.

I recently had my conservatory completely redone, along with new fascia boards, soffits, and guttering installed, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
From the initial consultation to the final touches, the team was professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient i have had previous bad experiences with other companies and this experience was such a breath of fresh air.

They communicated clearly throughout the entire process and made sure i understood what needed doing and how much it would cost.
They turned up on time each day, and made sure everything was done to a high standard.
My conservatory now looks modern, clean, and feels much better insulated and i’m having no issues whatsoever.
The new fascia, soffits, and guttering have also completely transformed the exterior of the house there’s no leaks at all and it looks incredible.
It’s clear they take great pride in their work, and they left everything clean and tidy when they finished. I highly recommend them to anyone considering similar home improvements, they were such a pleasure to deal with.

Absolutely outstanding company from beginning to getting a quote for fascia and guttering from Kam then a survey for the work from Ben to organising scaffolding and booking in the work with Jay it’s been amazing. At each step of the way have have gone above and beyond to keep everything on schedule fitting around us as the customer.When they came to do the work we were soo pleased even cleaned up afterwards took all the old guttering away. Would 100% recommend these guys and we are now planning having them to come back to fit a new conservatory roof

Polite and efficient from start to finish - we love our new windows and french doors. They have made such a positive impact on our home, it feels more homely and cosy. It’s not so chilly inside now either.

New Garage Door, fitted today. Fitters were friendly and professional and cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job, worked really hard and got everything finished done in one day. I had an excellent experience with this company when they gutted out my house. The job was completed much faster than I expected, and the price was more affordable than other quotes I had received previously. The team was professional, efficient, and delivered great results. They also took all the rubbish and got rid of it, which was a huge plus. They were very neat with their work and left no mess behind. I am very impressed with AA Warmer Homes. I was recommended to them by our neighbour who was happy with their service. Im glad I made that decision because I now have 4 new beautiful windows, new guttering and 2 doors. The process from start to installation was very straightforward and clear. Everything was communicated well and the team were very polite and professional! The install team were very efficient and friendly too. No mess was left, everything was cleared and cleaned! The windows/doors have already made the house feel a lot warmer and I must say the quality of the products, the service and the overall experience were all brilliant! I recently had job done by this company .and I couldn’t be happier with the entire process. The team was extremely professional, arrived on time, and worked efficiently. They answered all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable with how everything worked before leaving. The pricing was fair, and I definitely feel like I got great value for my money. I would highly recommend A Warmer Homes to anyone looking for a reliable and professional service.

The guy who came started off by telling me that he wasn’t like any window salesman I’d ever met – that he didn’t do the “starting up here and going down, down” with the price, or the “calling my manager”. Remember these, they are going to come up later.
He looked at all my windows, and initially all seemed well. He measured up well enough to be able to determine what size bracket the windows were in and took my questions well. However, I soon started to wonder if he was being straight with me when he told me that he’s not allowed to sell me a window with fewer openings than the one he’s replacing, which is – of course – total rubbish.
Next was the talk about using Argon gas in the windows. I was told that this would result in some condensation in the morning because “the argon is a smart gas that needs to work out what temperature it needs to be to work properly”. That’s a new one on me – a sentient gas. Someone call the Nobel science people – this is quite the discovery! What he actually meant to tell me was that Argon is the new fashionable “miracle” fill (much like nitrogen was in tyres a few years ago) but actually doesn’t really provide that much more of a benefit over simple oxygen fill (check the internet if you don’t believe me) and as a denser gas obviously has the down side of being slower to react to changes in temperature – hence the condensation. I don’t want to replace my windows which don’t suffer from condensation for ones that do – who would??
Then, the price. He sat down and used “the book” to work out the price of my windows. He then went to great pains to tell me that he would “tell me the book price, apply any discounts/recycling credit and tell me the final price”. That would be the price, there was no movement on that, and if I wasn’t happy, we would “shake hands and part as friends”. The “book” price (which was suggested was the “industry book price”) came out at around £33k for the whole house. It was all I could do not to laugh out loud at such a ludicrous figure. He sat and thought for a bit and said, “you’re going to end up paying about £20k”. Interestingly, this figure seemed to come from thin air. I told him that was out of the question and asked him what it would cost just to do the front. That came out at around £16k, but he then reduced this from the “book” price to £10k.
At this point, I noticed that the “book” was actually published by the company itself. Therefore, I was being quoted “book” prices that were obviously just made up by themselves. It would be like going to a car dealership and them telling you that in the “book” (which they wrote) your car was £500k, but we can do it for £25k. A simple, but deceptive, marketing trick.
After about 15 minutes, he suddenly dropped the price by another £500. Now he wants £9.5k for a job that allegedly costs £16k in “the book” – so a drop of £6.5k. Of course, they are still making a very healthy profit on the price I’m being offered.
At this point, he’s lost me. He’s clearly just as bad as the last window salesman I dealt with almost 30 years ago. After having told me he doesn’t “start up here and drop the price” he proceeded to do just that.
At this point he had been with me almost 2 hours. I made it clear that I wasn’t going to decide there and then, so he started asking me if it was something I was thinking about doing in the next 12 months – more about this in a moment. I said that he was the first person I’d had a quote from, and I was going to get at least one more so I could do a comparison.
He now pulled out the salesman classic and RANG HIS MANAGER!!! When tried to get me to talk to his manager, I simply said to the manager “Your salesman has told me that he’s skinned the price as far as he can, he can’t go any lower, so what’s the value in me talking to you?” The manager then became offensive and aggressive, and told his salesman to “get out of there”.
I asked the salesman how long his quotes were valid for, but I didn’t get an answer. He did promise he would write up his quote and post it out to me – he hasn’t done that. The final lie.
The “are you planning to do this in 12 months” led to the following suggestion – you pay them the deposit and then can come back to them at any time within the next 12 months to have the work done. That seriously set my alarm bells ringing for two reasons – firstly, if I did that then my legal right to cancel would expire within the same 14 days, but I wouldn’t be thinking about it immediately as I have 12 months to come back to it. This seems a very crafty way for them to circumvent laws established to protect people from the very high-pressure sales tactics they were employing. Secondly, who’s to say that they will even be around in 12 months? Get enough people to give you the deposit, then fold the business and run off with the cash? Not mine. BEWARE!!!!
I found the salesman disingenuous, deceptive, and deceitful.
