Horrid Taxi Service
I refuse to use ABC now. I went to London in September, and booked a taxi from the bus centre for when I came back. I was to arrive at Norwich Bus Station at 23:50, so I booked my taxi 20 minutes later in case I was late, for 00:10 on the Tuesday. I arrived early and waited, but I decided to call them at 00:20, and gave them my booking number, they said I had booked it for Tuesday. Yes, it WAS Tuesday, 10 minutes past midnight, on Tuesday! They didn't seem to understand that, and I was sent in loops, and other ABC taxis pulled up to pick up others. In the end, I just walked home in the dark, it took me 50 minutes.

i have used ABC for 3 years myself and my hubby are in our 70s we both have problems with walking my husband more than me so have used this company all the time . but last night was diabolical we called for a taxi to take us home the taxi called as normal we went outside the taxi was no where to be seen the was a car park away from us with the lights on parked beside other cars so we could not see except the light my son went to the car to ask was he waiting for us the guy said no he had no business and went it was ABC taxi when my son called the firm they said the guy was waiting for 8 minutes ( which was a lie ) my son said he have 2 disabled ppl here for the taxi he was told not there problem said would not send anyone back to get us he said that is was really rude t do this to us but they would not listen was more like tough your problem not ours really bad management for ABC 2 days before i called to book a taxi was we had doctors appointments the guy said well it only a mile walk i told him i would like a taxi please will you book it he said we were lazy but booked it now Rembert we are both in our 70s and have walking problems ,, i don't advise anyone to use this company as they don't care POOR MANAGEMENT SKILLS

Abysmal
Abysmal. I'd give zero stars if I could. I called, booked a cab and the CSA who barely spoke English advised I would be sent a link to pay upfront, which is fine. Link never appeared - I had a confirmation message then I had another one with driver details. Assumed I would pay in the cab, as I never had a link.
When the cab didn't appear I called them and it had been cancelled because the moron that originally booked didn't take a card payment.
Crap processes, crap staff. I was due to collect for a charity and had to cancel due to their incompetence.
Shocking Call Centre Customer "Service"
Absolutely shocking call centre "service", everytime I have called (usually in the evening) I have been told by a youngish sounding man that you are fully booked. He will ask what time, you tell him and then he will ask where from and suddenly they are fully booked. Why go through that if your fully booked anyway, just say that at the start. EVERY time I have spoken to him they are fully booked yet the drivers are always saying they don't have enough work as there are now too many drivers in the company!? This man needs a course in customer service as he always sounds as if you are bothering/inconveniencing him by even calling. I used to predominantly use ABC as I get a taxi to and from work as well as other times when I'm out in the city but have started to switch over to a few other companies as this man is just unpleasant to deal with. I've never had a problem with the drivers or the lady who sometimes answers the phone so it's a shame this man is ruining it for the company but I'm not going to spend my money with a company that employs such a rude staff member.
Thieving company, late and they never refund.
Like being scammed? Then you’ll love ABC Taxis! The company broke its own terms and conditions and then refused to provide a refund. Their terms and conditions state that they’re allowed to be 10 minutes late to pre-booked taxis (keep this in mind if you’re booking), even if they are booked weeks in advance. However in my case they were over 10 minutes late, which they reluctantly admitted, yet refused to provide a refund. The customer service was also terrible with one of the managers (manly sounding old woman) being abusive on the phone and trying to use the excuse that they were allowed to be late because I was catching a train? Even though my destination has nothing to do with them showing up late. I hope someone steps forward and sues this thieving company, in the meantime, use a different taxi service in Norwich.
Double charged. Rude response to asking for refund.
Driver took the fare Then told me it hadn't gone through and asked me to.present my card again. Looked at my bank app later: charged twice. I phoned to get a refund. First person said the driver claimed to have been paid cash. Second said I would have to email them. Then the controller shouted at me and called me silly. NEVER AGAIN. My partner called and now they say they will refund it. Horrible experience.
Appalling
Appalling. Changing the price once you’re in the cab! Telling you it’s your fault for changing the address despite having email confirmation of the correct booking address. Then the controller is rude and then repeatedly lies. £34 for 12 miles. Insane. Avoid at all costs.
Awful service
Awful service. I booked a minibus to transport 6 people to a wedding.
The taxi was nearly 40 mins late which meant we were late for the wedding.
I called twice and got told both times the driver was a couple of mins away.
When I was able to track his location he was miles away.
The call centre did not care, no apology from them or the driver when he finally arrived.

I have been using this company 5 days a week for over 18 months but they have become unreliable of late. Today for example, they sent me a driver who has to take the motorway to get to me. The driver is now 30 minutes late which means I am late for a very important meeting. The company couldn't help by providing a replacement driver.

I'm sorry to be writing this after 10 years of good service. I'd put the experience down to bad luck except I'm noticing an slow decline in what is generally a good service.
For the third time this week I made an ABC app booking the night before. The booking was accepted, the money put on hold and booking was confirmed on My Trips under Prebooking. I thought everything was OK. Tonight I checked a couple of hours after the booking had been made it had been deleted. Again. With no notice.
I phoned ABC, the operator had a hard time understanding what I was saying. He couldn't understand: the booking had been deleted and tried to say there was no taxis available at the time I wanted. I reframed my explanation. I asked him to imagine it was his wedding day. He turns up on time and the person he is marrying does not. No one has told him. He got it.
I asked if I should use the Veezu app. He said no to goes to another call centre. Is not ABC Norwich the trading name for Veezu?
I am waiting for someone from ABC to call me back on Saturday 13th July.

ABC very nearly got us to our restaurant on time.
Unfortunately, the pre-booked taxi couldn’t find the restaurant to bring us home - the driver decided to go to a snooker hall instead and phoned to tell me this was my fault.
No apology from the booking office - according to the nincompoop on the end of the phone (21.00 on 4th May - just so you can work out which of you it was. You’re welcome), this was ‘just one of those things’.

Booked a taxi a week in advance, only for the taxi to not turn up. We were stranded and missed our last train home. Called ABC up and spoke to the rudest person on the phone who offered no help and told us we were wrong about expecting a taxi to be where we booked it... madness. They didn't even have another driver to pick us up. DO NOT USE THIS IDIOTIC COMPANY.
Enough to ruin a nice evening
My partner booked a taxi for a ride home from a birthday meal out, six of us , and requested a six seater taxi over an hour before we we're ready to leave. After waiting in the cold outside, 15 minutes late a normal 4 seater car turns up. After talking with the polite driver, explaining there were six of us , including my retired parents... he requested we called the office. My partner called the office, someone who is very calm i could see by her face that the customer experience we were expecting was not forthcoming. She was told it was her fault and 'She was very wrong'. This upset her and as she didn't want to ruin a special birthday outing so hung up the call. 4 of our party took the cab already there, and as one of us hadn't been drinking, then had to drive back out to pick the other two up who were stranded. We were quoted £18 for the six seater taxi,, paid the same for the 4 seater car ,,, and then told it would have been another £18 should we want another to get us home. NEVER AGAIN . PLEASE PEOPLE BE WARY OF RUDE STAFF AND OF APPALLING SERVICE.
Rubbish Company
I writing this review to warn other people to avoid this unprofessional company. I have two complaints regarding on our booking. I was quoted back in July for a booking on 18th November from Norwich to Gatwick Airport the sum of £199. The taxi driver was pleasant and even stopped half way to allow us to us the facilities, but we were charged £249, (which was displayed on the clock) £50 more! To add insult to injury no taxi turned up to pick us up from the airport on our return on the 28th November. After 20 minutes of no communication I rang them, no answer. We rang a total of 16 times, each time the call dropped out! I was getting really upset and close to tears, there had not even been any message sent through to me. Seeing there was an email address I emailed them with little hope, but I did get a call back from a lady who informed me that I should have received a pre-payment form on my phone the day before, i.e., 27th November. No one had informed me about this. She delved further, the person who had placed the booking had left the company! There were no other taxis available, so basically we were stranded. We are both turned 70, fortunately we are mobile. I hate to think of the consequences if we weren't. We had no choice other than to make our way to the train station. If we were disabled that would have been quite a different scenario. I have had no apology whatsoever from them and they certainly don't take care of their clients. I for one will not be using them ever ever again. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company as they are NOT fit for purpose!!!
Horrible customer service and canceled taxis
Had 2 taxis pre booked for a big group of us and then received an email when we were expecting the taxi, saying it had been canceled due to the driver not being able to find us, we received no phone calls and no WhatsApp’s like usual, I called the driver who didn’t seem to know what he was talking about, I then called the office and was put through to a very rude lady who tried to tell me they had called me on my number and then said it wasn’t this number that they called and kept going back and forth with her story, spoke so rudely to me and kept telling me that I was lying, then decided to say there was no history of my booking even tho I had spoken to someone that morning on the phone who helped with my booking and when you call, the robot tells you that you have a taxi booked to the address etc, so I was clearly on the system, she then refused to send any other taxis out and proceeded to be very rude and unprofessional to my friend when she called to try and sort out the issue, I have never experienced such rude customer service and someone who obviously couldn’t deal with a busy Halloween weekend
