Been with Abel for a little over 18 years and couldn't recommend them enough. Always friendly, helpful and professional and when I recently moved home I had Abel install an alarm and CCTV in my new house too. The new system is great and all one one app! The engineer was polite and very friendly and answered all my questions and showed me how to use the new system. Abel have again made me feel secure and safe. Thanks to everyone.

I have recently had a wireless alarm system and camera system fitted at my home address by Abel Alarm. The engineer, Jason King, was very polite and extremely respectful to my property. The customer service levels we have received are outstanding and the communication with the company has been second to none. I highly recommend Abel Alarm. Thank you for making me feel safe and secure in my own home!

Terrible company, unresponsive and have every other employee passing around the job saying "I dont look after this now" leaving you hanging

Be careful, sent us an invoice for a contract we'd never agreed to or signed,
Even better also sent out a letter in 2020 saying please pay the contractual invoice , but due to Covid we won't be coming this year.

I just want you to know, I have had a contract with Abel for 30 years on a property I own.
I know now , what a pleasure it is to deal with Abel.
We are now living in a property which we took over a Banhams contract ,what a disaster. We have just done a huge refurbishment, the building contractor would only deal with ADT. One year on , in my new home ,I could cry ADT are a disgrace.
I cannot wait to end this contract and come back to you for my new home.

Awful. Shame I have to give 1 star my rating is really minus 5 at least. The story is that I’ve got one of their alarms installed in the house I bought. Not using it at all but it goes off now and again for now reason and I really have a problem to switch it off. Happened 4 times in the last year or so disturbing me and my neighbours. So I rang the company ( a number I found from the previous owners of the house) and the first question I’ve got was ‘do you have/ want a contract with us. I don’t it’s a really safe neighbourhood and it’s not my fault this thing is installed in my house. The quote I’ve got was £176 😡😡😡. For something that probably takes a couple of minutes to sort 😡. I’m an NHS doctor treating cancer patients and I think it’s at least a day (most likely more than that) to earn this money.

Brilliant service, from design to installation all members of staff were very friendly and made it easy for me to understand what I was having installed and how to work it. The cameras give such a good picture and now I feel so much more secure at home.

I have been dealing with Abel Alarms for many years. This is a pretty unique company and despite the inevitable changes in personnel and the special challenges of the past 18 months - their customer service remains consistent and excellent at all times. This applies to every department, from engineers to service to finance. Well done Abel!

Since mid December my aunt's monitored alarm has not functioned... she is in an oap complex and this is not good enough. Contact with their customer svs even less fruitful . After 10 wasted minutes, he had to be repeatedly told the number of the property. As he couldn't remember it. ??? An ashtray on a Motorbike would be as useful..... David.

With my very elderly parents alarm system non functioning, I called the company to investigate the issue - The engineer turned up at the time agreed
and was Covid safe. The problem was not one of system failure but one of user error. The engineer was very thorough and professional.

We’ve been customers of Abel alarms for the past 3 years. The equipment they supply and fit is excellent but what makes the real difference is the people that carry out the work. They’re expert at what they do but are also friendly, respectful and care about quality customer service - both fitting and after sales care.

Abel has been around for many years like when I was cleaning for my mum to earn pocket money we worked in a nationwide bank and that’s when at the age of 8 I knew what I wanted to do an alarm installer

This brings to companies you look at and how long there company lasts due to experience with customer service

Yeas back seeing abels bell boxes as a kid wanting to find what’s inside that red box !

Years later I never did find a Abel box working for many other companies as a subcontractor you know which company will survive and credit to Abel

I think Abel is the last family run company to the other players and still strong

I would be nice to have a picture of inside your boxes now 42 and started when I was 16 in the alarm Industry ! I never got to take your bell box down new or old

If there is a client looking at a reliable company with years of experience and a installer like my self twitch years on experience I would trust Abel to the other big companies you never here a bad story

We have been customers of Abel Alarm for nearly 20 years and, having just moved house, we have no hesitation in asking them to take over the maintenance and upgrade of the existing alarm. Abel's engineers are always polite, considerate and professional. Highly recommended.

Abel Alarm has been our great service provider since I remember, always efficient with great prices and solutions to make our system up to date and more efficient. Nothing wrong with their technicians work, but big question on costs and how they work. Annual service paid, technician arrives, need something changed but they don’t know what anything costs. Then you get the bill and it’s now been on 2 occasions their costs are 4-5 times the price of the retail value of the item changed. Given you are already paying for the service, this isn’t good practise. Be warned

Engineer that carried out the works was switched on, personable and professional - great service

I'm very impressed by Abel's service. Their engineer was very punctual when he came to service my alarm. He wore a mask throughout his visit and was punctilious about maintaining his distance in these troubled pandemic times.
