Ableworld are the largest mobility retailer in the country and believe this is because we genuinely care about our customer’s well-being. We employ professional, caring and knowledgeable staff to work in our stores, and provide quality mobility aids at value for money prices.
We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid.
Our stores stock all types of mobility aids, including Mobility Scooters, Walkers, Powerchairs, Bathing Aids and Stairlifts. You can be assured that in all of our stores we provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

Friendly and helpful.
Peter and Julie were very helpful and knowledgeable, we bought one item in-store and arranged a survey for a stairlift 2 days later. Survey and quote done by Jamie who was able to pick-up and install on the same day. Very pleased.

I spent hours on the phone trying to find the product that this company provided in 15 minutes half a mile from my home. The best experience in a difficult time. Superb staff who really know their stuff. I won't be shopping anywhere else.

Stuart was so helpful. Very knowledgeable with great advice. Worked out solutions and offered to help with the walker my mum has. What a great guy. Thank you Stuart.

Rebecca was incredibly helpful with us and so informative with the mobility scooter we bought today. She was a pleasure to shop with and would recommend her to anyone who needs help shopping here.

I went to the Wigan store to look for a new riser recliner. Peter and Julie were brilliant, listened to what I needed and wanted and I was able to "test drive" chairs. I found the right chair for me and the purchasing process was simple and smooth. Just waiting for my new chair to be delivered. Thank you both.

It goes without saying that everyone's mobility limitation is individual to them and over the past 4 years the team members at Bridgend have always gone the extra mile to match my needs to the products available - from knives & forks through to 3 electric scooters. But it's their outstanding aftercare service that means so much more when it comes to needing something to help me with questions and getting things fixed. I always look first to my local Ableworld Team because of their helpful attitude.

Just purchased Abena wet wipes at a shocking price of £8.50 for 80 wipes to later discover they are comparable in size to pampers wipes at a price of £2 for 100 wipes !!!

My wife started to struggle with the stairs over Christmas. We tried a stairlift in the Ableworld warehouse in Cheltenham on Sunday 28th, and she seemed to enjoy using it. Very helpful staff. Liked the options of new, reconditioned or rental. We opted for rental. The surveyor came on the Monday 29th, and the stairlift was installed on the morning of Wednesday 31st by two very friendly guys. Excellent service!

Having bought a mobility scooter nearly two years ago we recently had difficulty in putting the scooter in the car.We went to the Ableworld branch in Hanley Stoke on Trent and the staff Kev and Dawn where extremely helpful Apart from being so very friendly and knowledgeable they sorted us out and even put the scooter in our car.It is a great shame that in this day and age all companies could not be the same.Excellent service and we’ll definitely be back there when we decide to upgrade

After an injury, I tried to use my late husband's stairlift that had been switched off for nearly 5 years. Obviously, the batteries were dead. I called Ableworld, who's rates were much better than other firms and Roger, the engineer was here within the hour!
He was friendly, professional and very quick to replace the batteries. I am now safe on the stairs! Thank you Roger and Ableworld.

Queensferry branch - an absolute s*** show. We visited with a view to buying a rollator for a friend. Nobody was in the shop though we saw one person doing something outside. We walked round, looked at a few things and finally found the rollators, looked and decided we didn't want to buy when we hadn't even had the courtesy of an assistant. As we decided to leave the male assistant showed up but it was too late. Certainly won't go there again and would be dubious about any other branch now. We ended up at Careco and had an amazing experience.

Difficult to navigate site. Placed order only to receive email advising no availability but offering alternative without any information. Very poor

Went to try out recliner chairs at the Stockport Store just after I came out of hospital! Five star service from Kay! Such an asset to Ableworld. Very knowlegable kind and considerate.
No pressure to buy - we went back to order the next week.
Delivery people were lovely, explained everything in detail.

We visited the Congleton store to look at options for a reclining chair for my Mum. Linda was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. She took her time to allow her to try all of the chairs, with no pressure and was knowledgeable about what would and would not work for her.
She answered all of our questions and arranged all the paperwork so we could phone later and order without going back to the store. Her customer service was definitely above and beyond.
