John our cleaner has been amazing!

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. They will waste your time by doing a bad job and take your money. Try raising an issue with them and they won’t do anything. Will never recommend or use again.
They are untrained, unprofessional and can’t get a simple job done right. I had contacted the area manager back and forth multiple times but reached no resolution with her.

As outlined in our final correspondence from October 2024, we did thoroughly review your concerns regarding the Move-In Clean provided by Samuel, one of our 5-star rated contractors with four years of experience. At the time, we understood that there were concerns raised during the clean, and in response, Samuel extended the service by an additional 2 hours at no extra charge—bringing the total service time to 6 hours while you were only billed for 4. This represented a 30% discount valued at $120 and was offered on the same day to directly address the concerns raised.

You also declined our offer to have the same cleaner return for further rectification, which is part of our standard resolution process. Despite this, the cleaner proactively stayed on-site to provide additional service without charge.

Given the extensive tasks completed—including deep cleaning post-renovation, detailed bathroom and kitchen work, wall washing, and more—we believed this was a fair and reasonable resolution. As cleaners are independent contractors, the decision regarding refunds lies with them, and Samuel declined a full refund based on the extended service already provided.

While we regret that the experience did not meet your expectations, we do stand by the resolution offered and consider the matter closed. We’re always striving to improve, and we thank you again for your feedback.

I was immediately impressed by how quick I could organise a cleaner!

I was immediately impressed that the day I organised the cleaner, he was able to come out that day.

After surgery I was unable to maintain the house and after two hours, Steven had made my house look far more respectable.

Steven was professional and even offered to do areas that I had not even thought about which left my house look amazing. He even offered to go back over his footprints on the floor he had just cleaned.

What I thought would be a short term idea will become a permanent one to help maintain my rental property above and beyond the standard required.

Thank you absolute domestics and Steven for making me feel better and my home look amazing!

Would rate 0 if I could. Impossible to get onto. Complain about a clean which was not completed and get told "oh ok"
No communication since.

Don't bother to answer their phone

Don't bother to answer their phone. Makes it difficult to resolve any problems - but maybe that's why they arrange it that way.
Plenty of really good cleaning companies with a Google search and they respond immediately. Definitely go elsewhere!

Absolute Cleaning disaster!…

I approached Absolute Domestics following a google ad and my experience was both un-professional and thoroughly disappointing. I live in Blackheath Blue Mts and required a simple regular cleaner for 3 hours each week-doing simple domestic cleaning. The company received my vacancy in January and to date 4/5/2025 produced only two applicants-one of which only-made telephone contact. The contacted applicant arranged a 'go see interview' with me then 'sms'ed me to say on that day with little notice that it was "too much for her" and she could not attend her interview. Then followed a litany of contacts today from the Absolute agent who had not followed up on that appointment-and then there was a flat denial that my story was correct and factual- and I was the Client!! I asked for a supervisor who was rude and had no time for my story and then they cancelled the booking!!
The outcome a hopeless and totally UN-professional service-that cannot deliver their promises..go elsewhere!

We appreciate that you reached out to us for help in finding a regular cleaner in Blackheath, Blue Mountains — an area where, unfortunately, we do face significant challenges in recruiting available cleaners. Despite these limitations, we were able to assign Chloe to your request.
Regarding the SMS communication from Chloe, we acknowledge that you informed us she had messaged to say the job was “too much for her” and would not be attending your scheduled meeting. Chloe, however, advised that she did not send this message and instead believed she had not received a response from you, which led her to return the job to us. Our Area Coordinator reached out to clarify this miscommunication and requested more details about the message, not to question your integrity, but so we could properly investigate and address it with Chloe. We take such matters seriously and follow up thoroughly to maintain our service quality.
When we followed up and Chloe expressed her willingness to meet and clarify the scope of work, you declined to proceed with her. At that point, we asked if you would like us to find another cleaner, but you declined and ended the call. Consequently, the booking was cancelled.
We have reviewed the correspondence and calls and can confirm our team remained respectful and professional throughout, even while handling a complex and unfortunate miscommunication. We’re very sorry that it felt otherwise from your perspective. Our intent has always been to provide a helpful and responsive service, even under difficult circumstances.
While we regret that we could not meet your expectations on this occasion, we do thank you again for your feedback. It helps us continue to improve our communication and processes.

Booked a cleaner and was hoping for…

Booked a cleaner and was hoping for 5hrs 9am till 2pm on a Tuesday.
A professional text message was sent to me in a couple of days later from the cleaner Claire.
Claire had all the equipment need for the job. Claire worked hard and did a fantastic job.

Kate was exceptional! Not only was she really personable and positive, her attention to detail in making sure all cleaning requests were completed to perfection was really impressive; the house is still shining a week later! We will absolutely use Absolute Domestics again.

This company will take advantage of you! Their service is ridiculous

My experience with this company and its cleaning service was disappointing to say the least. There was lacking communication from the cleaner assigned to me, and I encountered several issues throughout the process.

On Thursday, I received a call from the man who “cleaned” my home to discuss the services I requested, which included general cleaning of all shared areas (kitchen, living room, dining room), bathrooms, and bedrooms. I also expressed interest in having the linen washed and asked if that would be possible within the 3.5-hour service. I mentioned that if we couldn’t finish everything in the allotted time, I would be happy to extend the session. After our conversation, he said I would be contacted to confirm the time, but I never received any confirmation, so I (the customer) had to reach out to him to verify the booking.

On Saturday, he arrived 10 minutes late and claimed he had been waiting for 10 minutes for the gate to open. I had clearly mentioned during our call that I live in a gated community, and he would need to contact me for remote access when he arrived. If he was informed of this, I don’t understand why he didn’t contact me sooner.

At 3:50 PM, he called to say he had finished cleaning. A young member of my family, who was at home, called me a minute later (3:51 PM) to let me know he had already left. This means I paid for 20 minutes of service that wasn’t provided.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t inspect the house before making the payment, as I was working. However, once I got home, I noticed several areas were not cleaned AT ALL. Specifically, the downstairs area wasn’t mopped, none of the toilets or the laundry room were cleaned, and the master bedroom was untouched. The living room wasn’t vacuumed, and there was rubbish underneath the couch. In the 3.5 hours, it seems he only cleaned the kitchen, vacuumed, and made the bed in two of the three bedrooms. If he cleaned anything else, I wouldn’t know, as he did not communicate what had been done.

I understand that it may not have been possible to complete everything within the agreed timeframe, which is why I offered to extend the service during our first call. However, it is unacceptable for him to claim that the cleaning was "finished" when he did not clean anything other than the kitchen. I later noticed that he broke my vacuum, accidents can happen so it’s not a big deal that he broke it but there was no decency to at least inform me that he had.

The man clearly took advantage of the fact that I was away at work. It’s been a week since I contacted the company regarding my experience. I have called several times, I have left messages and yet no one has tried to contact me other than a message to “call them back” (I did several times, they don’t answer). The man who cleaned is an issue but the company being informed of these issues and doing nothing shows that that they are taking advantage too.

WI explained to them I wanted to have weekly services with them but with a different cleaner as their websites states “I can request a different cleaner without issues” well apparently that is not true as they don’t even bother to communicate back
