False advertiser saying uk dealer I’ve waited weeks and the charger still hasn’t showed up, emailed them and reply from China , Do Not Waste Your Money on this cheap Chinese rubbish, should be banned from dealing in the UK

This company will be facing legal action very soon for a 65w dell laptop charger that after one days use melted and could've set our home on fire or servery injured someone..... ease avoid this company won't be around much longer

Based in China and don’t respond to messages. Complete scam. Was able to use PayPal also!

This seller is based in China, not the UK as the title would lead you to believe. Also when you place an order they send you a fake Yodel tracking number which just brings up an error message.

They also have other websites with similar sounding names.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE!!!

Stay away from this site. False representation. This company is Chinese located in China and not in Canada as stated. 6 weeks wait for the product and once received, not the right product. Not responding to email, very poor service. I have created a dispute with PayPal. Hoping to be reimbursed.

Ordered a charger for my Panasonic cordless phone and it was a perfect match of the original adapter thanks acadapters.ca

Wish I'd checked these reviews before I purchased. Took over a month to receive the item, which I raised a PayPal case for. Stupidly closed it before checking the item when it finally arrived and the pins on the plug are totally bent out of shape.

PayPal won't let me reopen a case and they're ignoring my emails requesting a refund.

Avoid!

Yeahhh, I think I’ve been scammed. Weeks and my charger still hasn’t arrived. They haven’t responded to my email either.

Purchased a charger, came in few weeks. Worked for a few weeks then faulty.

Contacted company as it has 12 months warranty, never replied to any emails.

After spending a whole day doing my due diligence in an attempt to avoid buying a replacement battery for my laptop from China, because almost all of the electronic devices or components I've purchased from this country thus far have either not arrived, been defective and in some cases been dangerous, I made a purchase from this company because it (as the web address would suggest) claimed to be a UK based company promising standard UK delivery time.

So I was a little annoyed when an invoice popped up on my screen post purchase which was in Chinese. I was then expecting an email telling me that my package would be delayed by several weeks, because in my experience this is a tactic that disreputable Chinese companies use to initially hide their excessively long delivery times after they've previously convinced you that your product is being delivered from a UK based company. Because as they know full well it was always coming from China and they know that people like me wouldn't have purchased if we'd known where our product was actually coming from.

I then emailed the seller via the email address I'd copied and pasted from the email I received post purchase, explaining the above and requesting a refund, but the seller failed to respond to all of my emails.

The battery then arrived some 3 and a half weeks after I'd initially purchased it and seeing as the seller wasn't responding to me I begrudgingly charged the battery up and proceeded to try it out fully expecting what subsequently happened and that was that the battery, or rather my laptop, from fully charged to completely dead lasted a mere 17 minutes, less time than the original battery which I was trying to replace.

I then launched a PayPal dispute and the buyer once again failed to respond, so I escalated the dispute to a claim and then just as the claim was due to reach the date by when PayPal would make a decision the buyer, although choosing not to reply to my comments offered me a refund if I paid for the battery to be sent back to China and I responded making it clear that I was not willing to foot the cost of the battery being returned given that I wouldn't have purchased it in the first place had I known that it was coming from China, so the seller rescinded his offer of a refund.

I then emailed the seller, making him aware that he had three days from the date of my email to either foot the postage cost himself, or refund my money before I wrote this review and if he did not respond then I would email him again giving him a further 3 days to return my money before I gave my permission for an article to be written about my experience of his company by a friend of mine who's a journalist for The Sun newspaper who was very keen to write a story about it and I attached a screenshot of my communication with this journalist to gently persuade him to act lawfully and as you can probably tell be the fact that I'm writing this review he once again failed to respond. So I'll be emailing the seller again in a moment to let him know that he has a further 3 days to respond before I give my permission for the article to be written. If he fails to respond again, then as I also told him I'll email him one last time, giving him a further 3 days to respond before I issue debt recovery proceedings, what with my partner currently running an International Debt Recovery company and I emailed him proof of this too.

As the other reviews and my review clearly show this seller shows scant regard for 'The Trade Descriptions Act 1968', scant regard for his customers and scant regard for trade laws full stop and it would appear that he thinks that he can operate unlawfully without consequence.

I guess some people need to learn the hard way in life before they're able to learn anything at all.

Hopefully this review will save many others from having to go through the same experience as me, especially those who perhaps don't have the means at their disposal to recover money as I do.

Avoid this company! Sent me the wrong adapter, completely different model number and wrong plug and tried to tell me it was the same thing in spite of me sending comparison photos, they are still asking me to send more and more photos. Total waste of time AND had to wait a month for it to be delivered. Wish I had read these reviews first.

I finally got the battery for my Dell Inspiron 13 7378 but after reading the reviews here am afraid to install it in case something goes wrong. Any thoughts?

The company (ac-adapter.ca) makes you believe it is a Canadian company, that the items are shipped from Canada, and that the delivery is expected in 4-5 days. After you pass the order, you learn that the item is "going" to be shipped from China. Everything from then on looks like a scam. I doubt that I will ever see the item, and much less, my money. Don't deal with them! Stay away.

Terrible company. Sent wrong supply. NOT in the UK, they are in China. Having to go through Paypal to get a refund. Avoid this company at all cost. I wish I had read the terrible reviews here .

Would not buy from them again. Bought a MacBook charger on the 1st September and it’s broken already in under 3 months.

It’s been leaving from China the last two weeks.. Thought they were legit because it says they use Canada Post. Too good to be true when it says free shipping. Will be contacting PayPal and Canada Post to let them know what’s happening. DO NOT BUY FROM
