Great course
Great course, ideal for a beginner like me. The course was informative, lots of tips, Mark gave a great overhaul, easy guidance course.
Good guidance on cleaning, operations, tyres of sprayers for each application.

Perfect Preparation and Stage 1 Wallpapering
I have now attended the Perfect Preparation and Wallpapering Stage 1 courses. Both were led by Matt, who was a great instructor. I found the courses to be of a very high standard and have benefited immediately from the knowledge gained. All of the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. Due to go on Painting and Decorating Stage 1 in August.

Excellent tutor
Excellent tutor, facilities, equipment, course content, small number of people in the group. Good mix of information and hands-on practice with plenty of one-to-one support. The tutor, Mark, has been in the decorating business since 1981 - really knows his stuff and is great at explaining it simply to much less experienced folk. Really helpful tips about reading the labels and what they mean, soaking the paper, how to paste and fold it easily with no mess, etc. How to match up patterns. Even how to choose wallpaper which will be easiest to hang. So now, wallpapering is no longer mysterious and scary - it just took a one-day course to give me the confidence to do it!

Wallpapering Course Review – Dulux Academy Slough
2 day advanced wallpapering course
I recently attended a two-day wallpapering course at the Dulux Academy in Slough, led by Scott, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The training was delivered in person alongside a group of other attendees, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Scott was an excellent instructor—knowledgeable, approachable, and highly skilled. He made the learning process clear and enjoyable, helping us not only build new skills but also refine and upgrade existing ones. The hands-on nature of the course was especially valuable, giving us the chance to apply techniques in a practical setting.
The Dulux team went above and beyond in looking after us, making the whole experience smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I left the course feeling confident and motivated, with a much stronger grasp of wallpapering techniques.
I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their decorating skills, whether you're just starting out or looking to enhance what you already know. I’ll definitely be returning for more training with the Dulux Academy in the future.

When I looked into a spraying upvc course I shopped around and dulux academy was definitely the right one to choose,James the instructor is spot on not a lot this fella don’t no about spraying very knowledgeable and attention to detail the staff are very helpful and I learned a lot out of this course and you get breakfast and dinner really enjoyed the course.

Wallpaper Stage 1 - 5 Star Day
This was a one day course which I found very informative. It was a mix of theory and practical throughout the day keeping me engaged. The trainer, Matt, was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable to ask questions along the way. The course was educational and fun - I would definitely go back for the next stage and recommend this to a friend!

I attended the 2 day Intermediate…
I attended the 2 day Intermediate Wallpapering Course last week.
There were 6 of us on the course so there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Matt the trainer was excellent and so were the facilities at the academy. We were taught the correct way to use lining paper, cutting on external and internal corners and hanging paper around windows. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their skills.

Stage 1 and stage 2 airless course
I've just been on the stage 1 and stage 2 airless spray course. I must say what a fantastic courses they're. From the monent you arrive you are greeted with a smile from friendly staff, tea, coffee, bacon/sausage baps are provided which is excellent. Matt grey was our teacher and he was fantastic, he explained everything really clearly, answered all my questions which there were a lot and made the whole 2 days extremely fun. Lunch is also provided and to top it all off it's a fraction of the price of their competitors courses. If your thinking of doing anything related to decorating I really can't rate this place highly enough.
10/10. Will definitely be coming back to do the UPVC spray course.

This has got to be the first time ever I’ve given five stars as a review. Even with a good experience or service there is always room for improvement, I can honestly say I don’t think there is this time. The tutor (sorry I’m really bad with names) was really friendly and accommodating, the set up in the main area is purpose-built for training so that’s good as well. Ample parking and they supply breakfast AND lunch, what more could you ask for?

My wife and I are not decorators but…
My wife and I are not decorators or tradespeople, but we have thoroughly enjoyed the many courses we have been on at the Academy. There is nothing to fear as the instructors are excellent, friendly and enabling.
To give you an example I went on two paint spraying courses and learnt enough to feel confident about buying my own equipment. I then sprayed her work offices and the result was much better than hand rolling.
Full of confidence we enrolled in the kitchen refurbishment course and updated our kitchen cabinets. We are delighted with the result - be warned though, several neighbours have asked us to do there kitchens....

I visited the Slough academy for the…Stage 2 airless spray course
I visited the Slough academy for the stage 2 airless course and from the moment I got there I received a warm and friendly welcome. My instructor was Matt Gray and his knowledge and experience transfer was brilliant. It’s clear he knows enjoys sharing what he knows and he does it very well. From the sausage batch to the pasta lunch and numerous cups of tea the whole day was a value for money enjoyable experience. Thank you all very much

Relieved to have attended the Relief wallpaper course!!
I’m a professional decorator, but there’s always something to learn, even the little things that can make your job easier or tips that others bring to the course that you can learn and this is why I love learning. The facilitator was amazing, made things really interesting, and adapted the course to fit the group drawing on a wealth of experience which was super inspiring. Course was focused on relief wallpapers, I expected to know a lot about but the history and revisiting practicals was great, I particularly like learning about Lincrusta wall covering which was the aim of why I attended the course and I loved it and immediately came home and ordered a load!!!
It was a jam packed day and an excellent opportunity to meet other learners from all over the country and why Dulux Academy courses are the best!

It was my first time in Slough academy…
It was my first time in Slough academy and even though I had done courses in Altrincham and scunthorpe which I really enjoyed the Slough academy was just so impressive. Was great to meet other decorators on different courses and just have wonder about. The upvc course that i attended was great i and took a lot of information and confidence away it really was 5 star.
