No respect for being a Cardholder.

Wow so sad, before you start typing. (It says what went wrong this time?) 1st. there customer service, very disrespectful. They over talk you and have no patience, what so ever. So as a customer for many years, I was treated as if I was making fraudulent transactions on my own account. After having my son's Social Benefits, posted to that account many years. They made me feel so bad, I was crying. Because they waited after I took off almost 2,000 off my card @ one time. But when I did a transaction @ Victoria's Secret, then they block my card for 200 n something dollars. But not almost 2000, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NEVER EVER, GET THERE CARE OR ANYTHING UNDER, NETSPEND.

Beware beware warning warning this is…

Beware beware warning warning this is the worst prepaid bank account place I ever dealt with in my whole entire life someone stole my money the next day after I got this card took $40 plus they scare me for $125 to someone on cash out something I does never use or have an account then they also took another $25 and send it to someone on cash out like I told Ace flare account they see my transaction I never ever did anything on the card no more than it went to them Ace check cashing place and one other place which was AutoZone or purchase of $228 so clearly they knew I wasn't lying and to this day and it's been 3 months now they still haven't credit my account or gave me my money back they keep talking about a letter here a lot of there I don't need no mother f****** letter if I went to the check cashing place in Pine Hill and gave them my ID and they called them and gave me a card what the f*** I need a paperwork or need to write a letter for my my mother f***** money please don't use this company think twice they full of s*** better try NetSpend they take your money and do not try to give you your money back my investigation and never investigation that will never end full of s***

1 star because I can't give 0

They only get 1 star because I can't give 0. So many fraudulent transactions I had to close my account! Customer service is terrible, you need a translator just to understand their English and they play games not professional at all for outsourcing employees and are probably the biggest downfall this company has. Getting the money returned was a pain and in the end they felt it was enough fraudulent activity on my account to send a 1 cent check. Just go with a bank that values its customers by serving them with real people and not robots and foreigners that cant speak clearly.

I would give zero if possible

I would give zero if possible. Absolute WORST customer service. Call and wait up to an hour. Transfer you and they either disconnect or require you to start all over and begin 1 hour wait again. Then people who have such strong accents answer that speak so fast you can’t understand what they say. Disputed a trans and they deactivated my card while I’m in Asia! I’ve used them for 18 yrs and disputed a handful of charges in past and never had my card deactivated over it, just at the most inconvenient time where I can’t even get a card or one mailed here. I’ve spent 310 dollars on calling cards. Called minimum 35 times and minimum of 40 emails. Jan 13 deactivated and now Feb 10 and 4 different times they didn’t have address correct. So now by 14th a card is suppose to arrive at a friends house. We will see since 4 other shipments they canceled when I said not received. They now blocked me for “security” purposes so I can’t access online bank. In order to unlock account or even activate my account needs to be unlocked. Without those I’m stuck. So they’re incompetent and take your prepaid to Walmart or direct to your bank. This company is the absolute worst! DO NOT USE THEM. Once back in USA I’m ending my account! I have credit cards and banking that do not require jumping through hoops like this clown show company. Look it up they don’t even have any stores anymore because they’re terrible. I should have canceled them years ago!!

Worst bank ever they closed my account…

Worst bank ever they closed my account for no reason on my pay week they had to send my deposit back to my job which they saying will take up to 6 days for them to get it back. I will never bank with them ever again. If u need a bank go with someone else they are not the right ones to go 2 at all. They played with me so bad it’s crazy.

Jibberish

call to get information on my account numerous times with the background noise and heavy seems like Phillipine accent only understand jibberish, so the Representative get angry when you call this out to them and hang up on you, cause I can ot understand what the outcome is, due to a extremely heavy accent, noy to be rude buy can you please get some Americans to answer the phones sometime it is our monies we are spending.

Trash

Is there anyone in America i can speak with. I have been on the phone with them for over an hour trying to figure out where my card is. I was supposed to receive it on 1/17 its the 19th and nothing. Customer service doesn't know what's going on. they just keep rambling. No supervisors ever available. Trash Company and Trash customer service

I been with ace for 17 years

I been with ace for 17 years. I like the fact they keep an eye out for fraud if something going on with my account they will notify me asap. Its crazy out here it can happen to any bank not just ace bank.

Worse BANK EVER

Worse BANK EVER. THEY CHARGE FOR EVERYTHING !!! Literally! DEPOSIT WITHDRAWS ETC. YOU WILL BE CHARGE. STARTING AT $3.95 BAD BANK. BUT IF YOU ILLEGAL OR A FELON OR JUST WANT TO BE INCOGNITO. THEN THIS IS BANK IS SOMEWHAT OKAY.

They are the worst keeping people damn money and want to cancel a MF card due to their dumb ass mistake I’m going to be filing charges for theft with the authorities and I will be going to court on them for lost wages etc . Y’all watch them they will still your money and when you find it and dispute it they want to cancel your card do not use them you’ll be sorry as hell you did. Ace flare are thieves and scammers do do not open no account or anything with them YALL will be sorry but I’m suing them and filing police charges for theft and messing with my account without my permission etc watch ALL OF THEIR WORKERS INCLUDING CORPORATE

Not ACH even though they claim to be…

Not ACH even though they claim to be and offer loans but yet deny you due to not being ACH. My card was suspended due to a fraudulent charged they stopped, which was a good thing, but went to an ace check cashing where Metabank is located and an extremely rude customer service rep the clerk had to call would not allow me to withdraw any money from my account because location was out of temp cards. She said I must have a card to get money.
A new card I had was also activated and Metabank denies doing so, but it was done before I received the card.
I have been with them for 6 years and have weekly direct deposits.
Also the so called customer service reps are working from call centers and have no clue what a POD.

Unsatisfied customer!!!!!!

Since March of 2020.. they have allowed five to maybe seven unauthorized transactions over the years to my most current dispute last month on the 21st.. I myself recorded every conversation because they were very contradictive and still cannot explain why they charged me $5 a month considering you are charged with every transaction by the ATM and them.. I cannot wait till I can totally establish myself to get rid of this card😡

I have been using ace flare account for…

I have been using ace flare account for years I receive my paycheck and pay my bills using them. Well out of the blue I receive a text message that something may be wrong with my account and to call them. I called then to see what’s going on and they tell me the CLOSED my account I asked why the had no response all the said was a transaction. I kept asking her what transaction she could not tell me because the account was closed , which didn’t make since to me at all. I went on to ask her about the money I have in the account which was every single dime I have to my name because I use only my card I don’t prefer to carry cash she says they will mail a check to me I told her I needed to update my mailing address because I just moved she said she can’t update my address because the account is closed I said so you are telling me that you are going to knowingly mail a check to my old address ? She said she can’t change the address not to mention I have my paycheck going to that account she said it will be sent back to my job I’m so scared she’s lying about that . I’ve read other complaints about ace flare doing that to several other people and these people are not getting their money back. How and why are they doing this to people and getting away with it I need help getting my money back from them . I’m a single mother with 5 kids and I need my money I don’t even have gas in my car please someone tell me what to do .. Do not use Ace or Netspend these they are both together and they use Metabank I don’t want anyone else to go through this

I have been using ace products and…

I have been using ace products and services for several years. There customer support is not great. There fee could be lowered. Th only benefit is that when I go inside of an ace store, the people working behind the glass are so great. I do not look forward to calling the 800 number for help. It's a good alternative. But the fees are like a penalty.
