I recently attended the madeira retreat and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.

The villa was stunning - peaceful and comfortable with breathtaking views and a beautiful flower garden and pool. The chefs made the most amazing local food and went above and beyond to cater to my dietary requirements.

The week was jam packed with incredible excursions to explore Madeira, from breathtaking hikes, a catamaran boat trip, swimming in rock pools and waterfalls, canyoning and exploring the capital city.

Corrine was the perfect host, and she put a lot of thought into creating a unique and special experience, with many thoughtful touches such as a beautiful welcome pack, daily journaling prompts and yoga and breathwork to recuperate after our busy days.

I travelled alone but felt safe and comfortable with an incredible group of women cheering each other on, and Corrine guiding and supporting us through the experience.

I highly recommend this week for anyone seeking adventure, connection and a trip of a lifetime!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by Corrine our host who ensured that everything was perfect and that everyone was happy. She was calm and professional even with things beyond her control like flight delays she remained calm and professional and put everyone at ease.

The accommodations was outstanding and the food was to die for. Every night, our talented chef prepared fresh mouthwatering meals, taking into account everyone's food preferences.
It wasn't just the activities and accommodations that made this experience unforgettable. It was the connections and friendships that I made with the other like-minded women on the trip. We bonded over shared experiences and supported each other throughout the journey.

I came back feeling re-energized as this experience truly had a positive impact on both my physical and mental well-being.

I can't recommend Active Odyssey enough. The planning and attention to detail were second to none and the incredible experiences provided make it a truly exceptional company. If you're looking for a unique adventure, I would highly recommend you to join an Active Odyssey trip. You will not be disappointed and you will have an experience to treasure for life.

The tours are very well planned out and allow women to bond in a way that ensures you will make me friends for life. The staff are caring, compassionate and an amazing amount of fun. After seeing many social media posts from Odyssey I decided to give a pair of Sheild Tousers a try …. My order was delivered super quick! Two rides in and wet rides thanks to great British weather I must say they are really good, they fit snug and are very comfortable to ride in including tight lower legs to stop the flapping material round the chainset when wet, good size pockets big enough to fit a big iPhone which doesn’t move about when in your pocket, I went for Khaki and normally take a 36”waist but went for large size and these are just right and at 5ft 10” fit perfect in leg length and received a free neck gaitor as it was my first order … win win … I have just ordered a Camo Tech Hoody to try, as a small business owner myself I love to support small business wherever possible go on give them ago I am sure you will love their gear like me !!

Life changing is the only word that I can use to describe what I experienced on this retreat.

I woke up this morning, went for a walk. Did some yoga and I wasn’t doing this prior to the retreat. I always wanted to but I didn’t have the confidence before.
I couldn’t have asked for a better host or crew of women.I was the only one from the US and I felt like I’d known these people for my entire life . I couldn’t have imagined I’d meet such and amazing group of women in my life!
I was so nervous but, everyone made me feel so comfortable, it was such a welcoming environment.
Corrines energy fed out positive vibes the entire time!

We did some many activities that I never thought I would do… I climbed a mountain! It was challenging but being surrounded by this group girls made everything so much better. Everyone supported and motivated me … I never felt that I was less than anybody even though I have never hiked more than 2 miles before the trip.

Truly the best experience of my life and I will definitely be attending another excursion in the future!

When I met the Corrine and Beth and all the girls they were so kind. We did a lot of activities, they were epic! Even our shuttle bus driver was so nice to us and telling us a lot about Madeira. The villa they booked for us came with the most beautiful view. As a person who eats vegan, the private chefs did a good job! I would recommend this experience!

What can I say. Spent a week in Madiera with Active Odyssey and what a week it was. Had the best time from start to finish, everything was perfect. The villas and location were a dream, great facilities and outside space, amazing to wake up with that view. The food was magnificent. Having our own private chefs was a real treat.
The activities were challenging but so much fun. Made some wonderful friends and formed lasting bonds. So many laughs, happy faces and new experiences had by all.
10/10 would highly recommend.

Booking the Madeira retreat was without a doubt the best decision I had made in a long time! Stepping out of my comfort zone and experiencing life in a new way, changed my perspective on my potential, grew my self-confidence, and improved my well-being drastically. Active Odyssey put me at ease straight away with her warm welcome and could not have been more helpful when booking and preparing for the trip.
The villa was luxurious with views of sunsets every evening over the ocean and infinity pools. The food was superior, all made fresh by local chefs!
Daily focuses paired with an abundance of varied activities such as sunrise hikes, yoga, whale/ dolphin watching, levada, and clifftop walks lent themselves to meaningful self-reflection and moments of pure joy and lots of laughter. The connections and friendships I formed on the trip with like-minded girls from around the world, are invaluable and continue to inspire me.
I can not recommend booking an Active Odyssey trip enough!

I couldn’t recommend active odyssey enough I’ve been lucky to be apart of a few trips/hike throughout the year and each one has been the absolute highlight of my year! Being surrounded by like minded/inspiring women doing the most wholesome activities! Corrine really is the perfect host you couldn’t ask for a better person to be leading these activities she makes everyone feel so welcome!
The Madeira trip was my first retreat experience and it changed alot for me it’s challenged me and pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way! I felt like I came away with a clearer mindset and better habits! The week was filled with best variation of yoga, hikes, viewpoints, sunrises and canyoning everything was so well organised! I can’t wait to hopefully be involved in more activities in the future 🙌🏻xx

The best week, so we'll organised and the perfect itinerary! A brilliant blend of activities, mindfulness, exercise and even a little sightseeing. Not to mention the food which was amazing and cooked by local chefs. An amazing first retreat, introduction to mindfulness and has got me into some great habits after too. The other ladies there was so easy to get on with an like minded. 12/10 recommend!!!

From start to finish this retreat was the most amazing experience I could have asked for. Corrine and Beth were so lovely and welcoming from the second I arrived and always did everything to make sure all the girls were happy and comfortable. The food is freshly prepared by chefs each night and is so delicious! There was a great range of activities too so you really feel like you get to see the best of Madeira while you’re there; all whilst having so much fun. I loved meeting all the girls and you have a chance to make amazing connects with like-minded women from all over the world. I have made really great friendships from this experience that I will treasure forever. The retreat is also absolutely stress free as everything is already sorted for you and you literally don’t have to worry about a thing. I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough!

Everything was great, from the choice of location to the activities and accommodations provided. Corrine and Beth made sure everything was perfect and that everyone was happy, there were choices for the activities so nobody would feel left out. There was a team of two chefs coming to cook every night, they accommodated everyone's food preferences and allergies and everything was delicious and fresh. I went back home from this retreat full of energy and with many mindfulness and wellness practices that I am now integrating in my daily life. This is an experience I will treasure for life, as well as the friendships I made there.

I had the absolute best week with Active Odyssey. It definitely exceeded my expectations of what the retreat would be like. Corrine and Beth put on an incredible trip for us and I am so happy that I took the plunge and went with them. They were so kind and welcoming and also very flexible, they were happy to adapt the itinerary to suit everyone and their energy levels/needs day to day. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I met amazing, likeminded women and left with genuine friends. We packed so much into a really fun week; the itinerary was a perfect balance of yoga, hiking and sightseeing. Corrine was great at leading us in yoga, meditation and breathwork practices as well as guiding us in journaling about goals for the future and getting rid of limiting beliefs.
It was a week I won’t ever forget and genuinely felt life-changing.

I had an unforgettable week with the Active Odyssey gang in May. It was my first retreat and I can say it won’t be my last. The trip was exactly what I needed. I came away feeling grounded and refreshed after being mentally and physically challenged by the amazing activities.

Since the trip I have made positive changes to my day to day life. I’m spending more time outdoors and i’ve also started journaling.

Can’t wait to see the girls again!

Just had an incredible experience at the female retreat! It was a perfect getaway filled with relaxation, empowerment, and connection with like-minded women. The program was so well-organized, offering a variety of activities that catered to everyone's interests. From yoga and meditation to creative workshops, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The venue was stunning, with comfortable and clean rooms that provided a sense of privacy and safety. The meals were delicious and catered to different dietary options, ensuring everyone's needs were met. Overall, it was an amazing retreat that I highly recommend to all the ladies out there!
