Worst online shopping experience…

Worst online shopping experience ever...NEVER give these people your hard earned money. The “owner” has the audacity to go on his YouTube channel and say that he is not about excuses yet gives nothing but excuses. One of his excuses was to blame the poor customer service of his vendors yet this company has not responded to any of my phone calls or emails for months. They promised my weights in 2 to 3 weeks but it is now going on 4 months with no update. I wonder how long it took them to write all the fake 5 star reviews on their website which also boasts a 5 star TrustPilot rating LOL...most TrustPilot reviewers would leave 0 stars if possible.

If I could give zero stars I would; THIS COMPANY WILL STEAL FROM YOU—DO NOT ORDER!!!! I placed my order in late November 2020, was told via email in mid December to expect an early January 2021 shipment only for that to be changed to beginning of February and now NO RESPONSE!!! They have stolen over $725 from me, will not deliver product, will not issue refund, will not respond.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

I placed my order around October 20, 2020. At the time, the website stated it would take 10 business days to fill and ship the order. Ok cool, no problem. Any other place at the time was at least two months out. I place the order, two weeks go by, and nothing. I try emailing a few times with no response. I called the number and a guy answered. Said that the order should be loaded up that week and he would personally contact me to let me know it was shipping. Wow, that sounds great! What good service.

Week goes by, and nothing. I try calling but no answer. So I resort to texting and I did get responses via text within a day usually. Every time, they told me "end of this week", "next week", "it's just waiting to be shipped", "all the back orders have been filled and you should be next." This went on until near xmas. Finally, FedEx tracking numbers!

Only...they just sit for over a week saying that the labels were created but the items hadn't shipped. Then, the labels were cancelled. Ok...

So then UPS labels created. Alright, this is the time!

I contact AD4M and get some response about labels were incorrect and the warehouse cancelled all of them. At this point, it has been almost three months. THREE MONTHS. That is 25% of the year. Keep in mind, the site said 10 business days when I ordered. I'm not expecting Amazon-style two day delivery...but I would think within a month if you state 10 DAYS wouldn't be an unreasonable ask.

Ok, so at this point I am fed up. I am done with the cycle of abuse that this has become. So I tell them I want to cancel and want a refund. They tell me that they can't because the plates already shipped. I check the new UPS tracking and, like the other times, it shows the labels were created but not shipped. They told me UPS picked up everything on a pallet. Wow, what a coincidence. After three months of waiting, the plates ship on the exact day that I want to cancel.

Ok, no worries. UPS can just return the plates and I can get my money back. That cool with you guys? "Yes, we will refund the money when the plates are returned". UPS returns the plates without delivering them to me. Tracking shows the plates were returned to sender. Did I get my money refunded? Heck no, AD4M stated they didn't get the plates and wouldn't give me my money until they located them. I pleaded with them. I begged them. At this point, I don't have the money or the plates.

Then, finally, I opened a PayPal dispute. 10 days elapses, AD4M doesn't contest the dispute, and I FINALLY get my money back and I am done with this nightmare...almost four months after ordering.

Don't get caught up in the same cycle of "well, I've already waited X amount of time and it's going to take at least Y amount of time from anywhere else...maybe I will just wait." Don't. Dispute the claim and move on. There is a reason why they were able to sell weights at low costs with quick shipping...because they were lying. I thought that if I was kind and polite the whole time (i.e., just being myself), that maybe it might make a difference. It did not. I almost lost $640.

It's sad that I had to give 1 star…

It's sad that I had to give 1 star review, as I feel that is overly generous. Ordered plates and my account was immediately debited. Estimated shipping time came and went. No response to communication. Emailed to cancel order and requested refund. I received a reply stating the order was cancelled and that I would receive a refund in 2-10 business days. That timeframe elapsed with no refund. I emailed again to inquire about the refund and never received any response. Resorted to disputing the charge to my financial institution, and recovered my money. This isn't the way to operate any business. Promising to deliver a product, yet don't. Promising to issue a refund, yet don't. Forcing your customers to dispute charges in order to get their money back demonstrates a type of operation which should be avoided at all cost.

Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible. Do not do business with them. Can’t fulfill their orders. Everything about this business is shady. It’s been over 4 months, still can’t get my order shipped. Requested a refund months ago, still can’t get that. No answers to customer service. BUYER BEWARE!!

Stay away

Stay away. I ordered a bunch of plates in November and never received the product. After reaching out to them multiple times via email and not getting a response I finally disputed the charge with my cc company last week. Very unhappy with this experience.

These 45lbs plates are awesome

Just received my plates and they are kind of beautiful. I wanted to share my experience because I noticed the other reviews:
I ordered these at the end of November. I was excited because the price was way better than anything else on the covid weight market and I really loved the idea of these plates being made out of repurposed parts.
They updated me several times throughout the process about their influx of orders, the process of manufacturing and shipping, etc. They even have a video on YouTube from one of the creators which put my mind at ease.
I did however get a little nervous last month just due to the timeframe. I reached out to the team several times via email and each time they responded within 48 hours with updates.
I just opened up the package today and they are even cooler than I thought. Sturdy, HEAVY haha, and have a really clean finish.

If you ordered and haven’t received an update, please reach out to the team. They updated me a ton and provided all the info I needed. These things are priced really fair in a market where everyone is now charging 3-4x the worthy of plates.
I’m stoked I have these now and I didn’t have to break the bank to get them. Will definitely order many more times from this company.

They will not issue a refund

They will not issue a refund. They don’t carry the products and tell customers to wait months. I will try to go directly to Amazon pay and have them cancel the payment. Stay away from them! Here is an excerpt from my email with them: Due to a COVID quarantine on the vessel we use to transport our products into the US as well as a labor shortage in Oakland, CA (where our warehouse is) our expected processing times have been extended. The items are expected to go out the week of 3/15, however that is subject to change if there is another COVID quarantine mandated.

Second email after asking to cancel and refund: Unfortunately, I can't refund your order at this time. Our system isn't fond of Amazon Pay, so I have to forward your request to one of the owners so they can refund it to you. But you have been marked down in our system as wanting a refund, just to confirm that.

I ordered plates on Nov 26th and as of today I have not received any ordered items. They answer my queries and promise the items will be delivered in about 2 weeks. But I never hear from them until I contact them again. I have never seen a company that works like this one.
I strongly recommend that you cancel your order and ask for the refund. Do this through your credit card company. Do this within 3 months and depending onyour CC, you may be guaranteed a refund. I worry that this company is just trying to run the clock..

I wish it were possible to leave 0 stars. The lack of communication and honesty from this company is astounding. I ordered $500 worth of plates on November 17. It is now February 4, and I don't even have so much as an estimated delivery date. The only updates I have received have been videos of the CEO whining and crying to everyone about how it's not his fault, it's the suppliers being lazy. When I reached out two weeks ago, someone FINALLY responded and said my order is scheduled to be shipped this week. I have attempted to contact someone via email, phone, and their Chat with Us feature everyday this week, and NO ONE has had the decency to respond. This company is a sham and I feel like I've been conned.

I placed an order in October for plates and still have no answer

I placed an order in October for a bunch of plates.

I realized that the original ship dates never materialized but was understanding of the issues with COVID

Finally in December I was told by the Logistics manager that my plates would be shipped.

At the end of December I did receive plates but was missing the 45's. I thought it was a UPS problem and spent hours on the phone only to find out they were never shipped from the company.

The logistics manager told me that she never promised all the plates which was insulting since they told me the plates would ship and never said there was an exception.

From there is went totally downhill, false promises of delivery and as of this posting I still do not have a date for my 45's. They also are begging me to cancel the balance of the order by I refuse to let them "off the hook".

I have asked the Logistics Manager to provide me with the owner(s) and the e-mails so I can speak directly to them.

She is ignoring my request.

This company is not playing honest with its customers.

Very disappointing and a totally waste of time.

Oh and by the way the sad thing is the plates are of very good quality..................

Terrible experience

So Far Terrible experience. Ordered almost $1500 worth of weight plates from this company in December. Its now early February and we can not get ahold of the company. They will not answer email or phone after many, many tries. I would give the company ) stars if possible. We are now disputing the charge through our CC company.

Patience is a virtue

Overall, you will likely be waiting a while, possibly longer than advertised, for the product however I am extremely satisfied with the product and despite the very long wait time, these plates are very high quality and are among the best I have ever used. For reference, I ordered 8x 45lb plates in early November and received them in early February. I hope the company can figure out a more robust shipping method which is why I’m detracting one star but the product itself is very high caliber for the price has been worth the wait.

Avoid and Buy Elsewhere

I'm sure these guys aren't trying to run a scam but they definitely are in over their head. I waited 2.5 months for my order and it never came. At first they seemed very nice and pretty responsive (though vague) when I made inquiries as to the status of my order but eventually I gave up after seeing Rogue Fitness getting equipment back in stock (purchase to delivery was less than a week). I made several attempts to cancel my order and they never replied to my emails. So, I went to my credit card company and filed a dispute. To anyone else having trouble I'd suggest doing this. You'll be credited your money right away and then it's their problem to deal with the credit card company. They should either give you real updates on your order (it will be X weeks because it is held up in Y location) or just not sell items that they can't deliver on. Kind of a shame. They had some great press around the time I tried to make my purchase.

Awful

I ordered my weights and it’s been 3 months now and I still haven’t got them. I understand there’s problems with COVID so I decided I didn’t want to wait anymore and asked for my money back. They said they would refund me and guess what that isn’t coming in either. A SCAM! They will take you’re money. Do not buy.
