The only company I will use for any electrical items, family run, very knowledgable and so helpful.
Within the last year I’ve had to have a new oven and new washing machine and they do everything from install to removal of old items so you don’t have to worry about anything!
Highly recommend.

We recently visited the store to replace our aging gas oven with a new electric single oven. We were provided with excellent advice from Callum and Lorraine, and a few days later Andrew came to inspect and advise with regards to fitting. Andrew went the extra mile when it came to fitting the new oven, the old gas oven was removed and taken away and the new electric oven was fitted immaculately, and he even managed to match the facia panel to our existing worktops. All in all, a very complete service which was all included in the very competitive price, unlike the multiples who find ways to charge for not so optional extras. We have been customers for many years and return because of the knowledtge and professionalism, along with attention to detail provided by their staff, ensuring the customer is more than satisfied. Impartial but knowledgeable advice. With local understanding of the limitations of homes in the Old Town... really is a weight off your mind when needing to get a new appliance in and out of a wonky house!

Firstly good advice when choosing a smart TV, but also integrity when the price dropped later that day and I was phoned to say I had a £50 refund

Super friendly staff. Knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy. They do what they say they will do. Nothing is too much of a problem. Helped me buy a tumble dryer which was a big purchase for us. Delivery was exactly when they said it would be, despite them having had a lorry stolen the day before. A personal service from a personal company.

Needed to buy a new fridge/freezer for our garage as the existing built in one in the kitchen is pathetically small.
Looked on their website and identified a few appliances that I thought would be suitable and then visited the store.
The gentleman that served us was most helpful and explained that not all fridge/freezers guarantees were valid for use in a garage. We were then shown the ones that were suitable from which we made our choice.
Delivery was free and arranged for the next day. Delivery guys brought it into the garage and ensured that the feet were adjusted to make the apliance level and stable.
We also bought a new kettle whilst in the store but that choice was quite difficult due to the huge number available.

Decided to replace old TV with new smart TV. Staff were (as always) very helpful and informative and prices were competitive with online and superstores nearby. Free next day delivery very useful as the car was already full!

We arrived at the store in st Leonard’s we were met by very friendly helpful staff they showed us the range of dishwasher’s we settled on another Bosch it was delivered by 8 am the next day plumbed in for us and ready to go and old one taken away you could not ask for better service well done Adams and Jarrett

It’s so lovely to get first class customer service. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by hello from a lovely lady, I wish I had got her name. (It was lunchtime today). I said I was looking at Air fryers, she immediately took me to this section in the store, explaining each one (there were a few, she kindly took one out of the box without my self asking), I was to purchase this one but saw that It would be a little to small and bought the next price up. Excellent service, thank you 👌

I placed an order with this firm to purchase a Tower forged aluminium casserole pan. I was then informed "Unfortunately we do not deliver or courier items out of our area, so we will not be able to complete this order"
As I am not able to obtain this product locally, I didn't find this firms customer service helpful. If you don't look after your customers, somebody else will!

What a breath of fresh air! I was having a horrible time, trying to compare appliances online, understanding the difference and benefits of hundreds of different models. I spent an hour with Adam at A&J and knew exactly what was right for our family, our kitchen and our budget. So so happy with experience and the prices - we got a good deal for buying a bundle. Cannot recommend more highly. Shout out to Rob too, who helped show me the value of each brand when I first popped in

I can't express enough how greatful I am with Adams & Jarrett service today.
A lady who I look after and depends on her television called me today to say that her television had broken . I called Adams & Jarrett straight away and with in an hour & half they had delivered a new one and spent time explaining the new remote and setting to her . She was over the moon .
Once again thank you your staff are worth their weight in gold . You don't know how much this ment to me & the lady .

I bought a Beko fridge freezer 18mts following a discussion with a very knowledgeable sales assistant at this excellent store. The product worked well until last week when the fridge was no longer cool, although the freezer was still doing its job. I paid a visit to the shop and asked what needed to happen. The product was 6 mts over the year's guarantee. Following a visit from their appointed engineer who condemned the fridge, which had sprung an internal leak in a sealed unit. I had got not usual for Beko, a rogue machine! I was asked to visit the store the following day. I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased to be offered £220 towards a new fridge freezer. I opted for a Bloomberg this time. I was quite taken aback, that when I asked whether a report goes back to Beko to reimburse A&J, was informed that the retailer took the hit. I applaud this firm's customer care and the way my complaint was dealt with. I have shopped for over thirty years with A&J and given this level of care will continue to do so. Well done

How great it is to talk to a real life person who has the time and knowledge to talk to me honestly about cordless vacuum cleaners ........ and I bought a great one , after many mistakes .
