With our own warehouse we carry many products in stock but are also able to order from a much larger range than carried in store. We offer free local delivery within a radius of approximately 20 miles radius including towns and villages such as Battle, Bexhill, Cranbrook, Eastbourne, Heathfield, Robertsbridge, Rye, Tenterden, New Romney & Winchelsea. We also offer an installation and removal service for all major appliances with our trained delivery drivers and gas safe registered installer. As an independent retailer and a member of Euronics, we take pride in our customer service and are always here for our customers for help and advice both in and out of warranty. Sold an ex display model without knowing.
I bought a top of the range washer dryer and upon delivery discovered I had been brought the display model. The delivery guy said “oh, you didn’t know” erm.. no, nobody told me. Since they had brought it to my top floor flat I decided to accept the delivery. However, rising anger at this led me to phone the shop where I was fobbed off with the line: “That was the last one”, “it’s our policy” and “All shops do it..”. I asked for a reduction as it was ex display but was again fobbed off. I have been a regular customer and thought buying local was the best thing to do but never again shall I shop there.

We are sorry that you feel this way. White goods such as washer dryers, washing machine and dishwashers are not used in the shop. If it were a television, which is on and being demonstrated that is a different matter. We only give allowances if the product is marked or damaged in anyway. The salesperson may not have known he was selling the last one, but we didn't intentionally not tell you. We can assure you that this does not affect the warranty in any way. We generally have a high turnaround of stock, so the washer dryer would not have been on the shop floor for very long. If at any point in the delivery you had decided that you didn't want this machine we would have returned it to the store and refunded you.
