Avoid dealing with Adapters.co.nz
I bought a charger for my Lenovo laptop from this company even specifying the product code. It took over two weeks to arrive from China even though I thought they were a NZ company.
The charger was a cheap imitation and the power connection became loose in my computer's power port within a couple of weeks and now doesn't charge my computer.
It's obvious they're another dodgy Chinese rip -off company exporting junk to unsuspecting NZ customers. Avoid this company
Requested a power supply for Harman…
Requested a power supply for Harman Kardon Soundsticks. Product arrived, and is different from that advertised, and does not fit the unit. It seems they chuck any old adaptor in the box and post it out. Waste of $29. Have asked for refund but not holding my breath...should have read reviews for this site first.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. Purchased a replacement AC adapter for my ASUS laptop. Arrived in decent amount of time, but it doesn’t work. A dead charger was sent to me and customer service is totally non existent. Disappointing as I purchased this charger to use at home and travel with. Avoid this company.
I think this is a drop shipping…
I think this is a drop shipping company. I ordered this hoping it would arrive in a couple of days but I checked the tracking and it's coming from China which will take weeks to arrive. Very disappointed. Won't deal with them again.
DO NOT TRADE WITH THIS SELLER
Product did not work, asked for refund but seller advised that I had to send product back to China. However seller advised that I must falsify value of the item on the postage or else they will not accept the item. Seller was avoiding duty at China end. Very illegal to falsify postage and I was not prepared to do this. I wrote off my $80 spend. Site set up to look like NZ but it is in fact Chinese. Product worthless and seller non trustworthy and willing to break law. DO NOT trade with Adapters.co.nz Horrid experience
Their Company sent the wrong type of charger despite correctly ordering the right charger myself, also refused to give a refund.
DO NOT ORDER from this company. They are LITERAL THIEVES. On the 27th of May, this year. I ordered an HP Pavillion 65 W laptop charger, but instead, I was sent a totally different charger. I contacted them through paypal, but was refused to be refund. Instead, they offered me a dongle cable which was worth around $1.50 NZD and closed my case.
I was honestly very skeptical
I was honestly very skeptical about the website as i read a review on here and it said it wasen't a actual nz company but i had already brought a chager off there so i waited it eventualy came after a while and worked as normal i have had it for about 2 months now and its still working. Make sure you are getting the exact charger too (I almost made this mistake)
Excellent Service
Well I was very skeptical after placing the order after finding out as many other customers found out that this was not a NZ company. So wasn't really expecting a good outcome after reading many negative reviews. I was absolutely delighted and relieved when my purchase arrived only 4 days after ordering, exactly what I had ordered! Thank you adaptors.co.nz for your excellent service ! Have no hesitation in purchasing from you again in the near future.

I saw heaps of poor reviews after I purchased and started regretting my decision until what I purchased turned up a week later with no problems whatsoever.
Good service
I was a little concerned when I realised that this company wasn't NZ based however my adaptor arrived a week later and I'm happy with it and the service.
Bose Sounddock Adapters Differ For Each Model
Thought this was a NZ site and ordered an adapter for my Bose Sounddock. What arrived did not fit my particular Bose model, so asked for a refund. They asked me for details and photos in poor english, which i tried to answer usefully. Since then, no contact. My advice is not to deal with this company.
Wouldn't recommend
Wouldn't recommend using this company at all. Realised they were an overseas company. Tried to cancel. They said no. Already sent. Still waiting for it to arrive 3 weeks later.
Ordered an adapter
Ordered an adapter, was a little apprehensive when I saw paypal going to a gmail account and realised they were offshore. New adapter arrived as promised, nicely packaged and works fine. Paid a bit more than it's probably worth (~$10 more), but I've got it now so happy days.
DO NOT BUY - this online business needs to be shut down
Same as many other negative comments (PLEASE READ) to which I add the following: I ordered a charger for my laptop. The order mysteriously changed into another charger. I didn't notice this until I received the item which was incorrect. Their website states that they provide 'perfect and great customer service with a full 30 days satisfaction guarantee'. I sought to either exchange or refund my incorrect item. However their exchange or refund process is totally unfair and ridiculous. They will only refund me if they have another NZ customer who buys my (incorrect) item, then I have to post my item to this other NZ customer and then only will they refund me. Alternatively, I can return my (incorrect) item to their China address. Nowhere on their website have they declared this. They have put up a NZ front and one would think that returns would be sent to a NZ address. In fact the box in which my item came in states a NZ address, so technically I'm legally only obligated to send my item back to this NZ address. They also operate a replica website - lps-gopower.org, which have similar negative reviews. Both these websites have different contact addresses. I have since opened a PayPal case, reported them to Domain Name Commission (DNC) and Commerce Commission. I believe they should not be using a NZ domain and their website in unfair and misleading which breaches the Fair Trading Act. Lets see what happens but PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.
Appalled an overseas company can run…
Appalled an overseas company can run under an NZ domain, ordered 24th Feb, still nothing 7th March, have since ordered from local supplier and delivered within 3 days…..misleading and lesson learnt
Item took nearly 2 months to arrive
Item took nearly 2 months to arrive, was expecting a small delay due to ordering 10 days before Christmas but to not arrive until February is not acceptable.
Did 2 requests via website and got no response, emailed directly on their service email address and got a reply 9-days later.
Fortunately the adaptor does work but unfortunately due to delays I had to purchase another adaptor to allow me to use my computer.
Do not buy through this company of you expect your adaptor to arrive quickly.
It worked out (Order 27412)
Bought an adapter to charge my Bose bluetooth speaker ... then read the poor reviews and got worried. Wondered whether it would work out and thought it would be a bit hit-and-miss given the reviews. Paid through Paypal, so reassured could get a refund if things didn't go to plan. Well, received a perfect adapter about 2.5 weeks after ordering and wondering whether I was actually going to receive it. Very happy with end result. I note though the company is apparently in China, the parcel was sent from Auckland. So, it all worked out! Yay!
Bought an adapter for my Asus…
Bought an adapter for my Asus Chromebook. I checked the model number and bought the product they advertised as compatible. After two months it failed and they refused to replace or refund. Avoid at all costs.
Avoid
Avoid. Avoid. Cheap imported knock off junk. You will end up paying again for something that actually works
Not a New Zealand company
.co.nz gives impression that this company exist in New Zealand but in actual it is somewhere in China. Secondly, they do want to reply. My order status showing shipped but no tracking number. I left two messages for it, no reply. Any good expectation in case of warranty claim, ah..
