Not what we ordered.

I ordered pin badges for the pupils in my school. I paid an extra £10 for special delivery as we needed them as soon as possible.

When they arrived they were the wrong size. I contacted them asking if it was possible to have them redone and sent out as the correct size, they replied with:

"I have spoken to my colleague who has advised that because these were produce on an Express Delivery, the factory can only do these on 38mm size. We have not charged for the 6mm total difference. Are you able to accept these badges? If not, we can look into a remake of 32mm size, but these will take 3 weeks"

We were not informed of this prior to purchase and would not have ordered if this was known. The reason we asked for special delivery was because we needed them quickly, so a 3 week waiting wasn't an option.

We were however, offered a 5% discount (a total of £4) which seemed very poor compensation.

Outstanding Value a MUST HAVE in today's world

This company was brilliant, when I first placed my order I chose the wrong order that my colours needed to be in and also needed to change the wording around. Thought I had totally messed everything up but No Adband sent me a pdf file and I was allowed to make the ajustments before the final order was processed, a brilliant service from Adband and one very happy and satisfied customer, they had saved me from a disaster. I ordered them for the end of June ready for my Youth Darts Team to take out to Hungary for the Europe Youth Cup as momentoes and they arrived at the beginning of June. Thanks to everyone at Adband your product will be on displace around Europe from the 7th July and I am sure that the kids will love them and wear them with pride..

Super service

Excellent customer service, good price, exactly what I wanted to raise awareness of a charity close to my heart. Very happy and I have even ordered for a second time! Happy customer that return and recommend

Poor Customer Service, wrong order delivered to wrong address

The order was delivered to the wrong address after delivery address was confirmed, went to our office 200 miles away from our head office. Ordered badge covers and gave specific details on what size was required - wrong size sent, this was because I had said the order was urgent so they sent what they had in stock rather than what I needed. Order was also incorrect as to the style!
Having difficulty now trying to get the correct order to be sent out and trying to get details of manager to speak to regarding my complaint.

Unhelpful when purchase went wrong.

We brought some wristbands and had them personalised with writing. After completing the purchase they told us the type of band would not support writing so we could either add writing on the bands for an extra £50 or just have them delivered. They refused to cancel the purchase at it was against their policy. This was very unhelpful so we had to find a way to fix the problem at extra cost to us. Adband were not rude just unhelpful with the situation.

Opinion from Islington Council

The service that I recieved from staff at Ad-Band was very poor. In the first instance the young lady in the orders office spoke to me in a very patronising way like I was 5 years old. This is one area that i would improve as a business as first contact with a customer is very important. I would suggest staff training on telephone etiquette and politeness (without being patronising).
Secondly i was never told over the phone that my order would only be released once the invoice was paid in full. This caused problems as the products we ordered were needed for an event and would have been of no use being late. Staff should have made me aware of this during numerous telephone conversations but didnt. It was only the fact that i chased the order up that i found that our products hadnt even been released and had to come from the depot in China, and our event was fast approaching! To try to resolve the delivery issues i then spoke to the same person in the orders office who continuously (after about 20 emails) told me the same thing over and over which didnt get me anywhere. I eventually spoke to 2 managers who seemed to resolve the issues and my products were delivered before the event.
The service was appalling .
We are a very large organisation and we are always looking to purchase similar products for marketing reasons/projects but im afraid as a customer I would not come back to place any more orders with Ad-Band. A potentially good customer has been lost.
