Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 417 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people reported significant issues with customer service, describing it as unhelpful, unresponsive, and even misleading. Customers frequently faced problems with their orders, including items not arriving, being delayed, or incorrect products being delivered. The refund process was a major source of frustration, with many struggling to receive their money back or encountering outright refusal. Additionally, some products arrived with quality issues, such as damaged logos, peeling soles, or being unwearable. However, some customers also noted that the products themselves were of good quality and fit well, despite issues with the purchasing process. A few other people also felt that their customer service experience was positive, with some refunds and deliveries being handled efficiently.

Deplorable company! Would give a zero star rating if there was that optionrating if it…

Bought a pair of Campus trainers on 9th March. Had Royal Mail delivery notice but it never arrived. Wrong address on order. I knew I hadn’t put the wrong address on it but gave Adidas the benefit of the doubt I reordered making sure the correct address was entered on the order. AGAIN the address was wrong which made me believe there is a technical issue with the address being pulled through. The customer service agents are full of apologies but their hands are tied. What it needs is someone from the UK to take ownership! Deplorable company. Will never use again and will make sure everyone knows it!

Id give them no stars if I could

Id give them no stars if I could. Ordered a pair of trainers that were supposed to arrive 2 days later and they still havent turned up after 3. Contacted them to be told I needed to ring the courier even thought the retailer is the one is responsible to gurantee delivery on time. And the couriers lines were already closed. 6 hours of my life I'll never get back due to a pathetic and non existant customer service. Bring back the High St.

Terrible customer services

Long standing customer (40 plus years) spending thousands on adidas products. Purchased a pair of trainers that I couldn’t wear as they rubbed my Achilles so badly they bled every time. Adidas refused an exchange or refund and probably spent more on postage returning them! I’ll never use Adidas again!

Ordered a basketball tee shirt for my son several weeks ago on a Thursday, got a notification saying it would be delivered on Sunday. No delivery, emailed Adidas no response & still no tee shirt. I will never order from Adidas online again, absolute rubbish service & customer service.

Cancelled Complaint for no reason

Unbelievably poor service, cant get to speak to anyone, the system is terrible and they now have the cheek to expect my continuous support, I’ve worn adidas for 40 years and cant believe how poorly I’ve been treated. Lodged a formal complaint and it appears they have closed it at their own request. Still get emails saying your Adi club member 3 as though I would give them another penny. Down with the 3 stripes… Bought my very first pair of Nike’s at the grand ol age of 52

Awful online shopping experience

Awful online shopping experience. They completely mislead and falsely advertise discount vouchers below products which they cannot be used on. Customer service is so poor, they just fob you off and do not take a genuine complaint at all seriously. Will stick to shopping with Nike going forwards.

Time to say Goodbye

I ordered, my order was delayed. I waited and nothing arrived and no commeunication was received to keep me updated. I contacted customer services and raised a complaint. My complaint has not been addressed, I am still awaiting a refund since 16th Feb. Iraised a further complaint and received no response. Today I receive an email saying if I have any queries get back in touch. Adidas I am very disappointed by your lack of customer care. The customer service people I spoke with were poor and insisted I am unable to speak with anyone in your complaints team. I no longer want any of your products or below par customer service. Its time to say Goodbye and I will be deleting your app and unsubscribing.

Disappointed

Disappointed. Ordered socks, i know only socks but my last pairs of leopard print socks lasted me around 6 years. This set? 1 wear!! Sent photos and complaints. They send me a suggestion of "better quality" pairs i can buy from them? And want me to send the broken ones back before theyll refund me, if their investigation finds i should be refunded. I get the need to return but it took me 2 months to even reply to my message! How am i to expect them to even send me the refund?!

Shockingly bad returns process and zero accountability

I’ve never had such a drawn-out and frustrating experience with a returns process.

I was sent the wrong item entirely — not even an adidas product. I returned it promptly, only to be told weeks later that my refund couldn’t be processed because the item “wasn’t sold by adidas”. That’s exactly the point — it’s what they sent me.

Since then it’s been endless back and forth. Promised timelines came and went, I was told I’d hear back within 72 hours (multiple times), and nothing ever happened. I even received an email asking whether I’d received the returned item — which I had — because adidas simply sent the same wrong item back to me instead of issuing a refund.

No ownership of the mistake, no evidence provided, no resolution. Just vague responses and repeated delays.

I’ve now had to escalate the issue to Klarna because adidas seem incapable of resolving an error that was entirely theirs in the first place.

For a brand of this size, the customer service and returns handling has been genuinely disappointing. I won’t be ordering directly again.

Horrendous Service - I lost £110

I bought a pair of shoes which when delivered were wildly inconsistent in size to any other pair of Adidas shoes I own. I contacted them to say they were easily 2 sizes smaller than others I owned and they told me to send them back to them. When they received them they said because I'd 'customised them' (I'd had 4 letters added to them) they wouldn't accept liability for them being a completely different size from that advertised. So they now have a pair of shoes I paid and my £110 and said tough luck. If it wasn't such an established company you'd assume it was a scam company. Disgrace of a company.

**Update - I've just had an email from customer support to say sorry we have your money and you have no shoes, but "I see you are a Level 1 Adi Club member. That is so cool. All you need is 750points to move to Level 2. You can earn more points by shopping and leaving product reviews"

Are you joking Adidas, keep giving you money while you give me nothing in return?

What an embarrassing company to deal…

What an embarrassing company to deal with. Someone different emails you back every time and doesn’t bother to read the history of the emails or the back story to solve the issue. I have been told the same thing about 20 times now and what I am being told is not possible. Will someone from adidas with a brain cell read the previous emails to be able to give an informed solution. Adidas allowed me to order a racket that was out of stock. Told me after 20 plus days that the order was cancelled… took my 25 discount code from me and also have credited the money back to a gift card I can’t access. No mention of compensation at all until I kept emailing and what’s app messaging. Finally agreed a compensation package with an agent on what’s app who told me they will email everything over in an hours times.. this was last night and the email never came. Sent a video of the what’s app chat history via email and now I am being told the same thing I was told right back at the beginning of the issue. Absolute waste of time… I am down £48.75 and also down a 25% discount code.

Poor Quality & Worse Customer Service

I purchased a pair of Adidas shoes for my son less than 4 weeks ago, and the Velcro closure has already completely ripped off the shoe.

The entire Velcro strap that secures the top of the shoe detached from the side stitching. It didn’t just loosen — it fully separated from the material, leaving the shoe unable to close or fasten at all. Because of this, the shoe cannot be worn properly. This is clearly a defect in how the strap was attached, especially considering the shoes are barely a month old and worn by a child for normal daily use.

I contacted Adidas customer service expecting a reasonable solution. Instead, I was told they will only send a replacement after I return the defective pair. I explained that these are my son’s only shoes and it’s the middle of winter — he has nothing else to wear in the meantime. The representative showed zero flexibility or understanding and insisted that I must return the shoes first, regardless of the circumstances.

For a company like Adidas, this level of product durability and customer service is extremely disappointing.

Poor quality. Rigid, heartless policy. Very disappointing experience.

Awful / Shambolic

Utter, utter rubbish from such a huge company.
Ordered trainers that showed as in stock. Delivery date came & went with zero communication from Adidas.
Checked with customer services (agents clearly struggle with English) & it's on 'back order'.
It now takes another 48 hours to cancel the order!!
Absolutely disgraceful for a company this big.
Avoid like the plague.

Truly horrendous customer service

Truly horrendous customer service. I ordered shoes in Black Friday sales (November). Initially they had to cancel part of my order as the shoes were not in stock in spite of having being sold to me. Then once I recieved and returned my order and they accepted it (December) they have not refunded my money. I've called 8 times since January, emailed a dozen, whatsapped, filled in the same form 5 times and still am just told to 'have some patience'. Actual robbery.

They sent me a size 4 and a size 5 box

They sent me a size 4 and a size 5 box. At first the customer service on WhatsApp agreed that if I sent my size 4 back, they would send me a size 5. Afterwards, I checked the website and noticed every size was sold out so I asked how they were going to send me a size 5, they realised their mistake and that they shouldn’t have promised me that, I picked a different pair of shoes that had size 5 in stock, they agreed they would send me these shoes if I sent my size 4 back. And surprisingly today they sent me a refund claiming that the shoes were out of stock when I could see that every size was in stock on their website, including the size 5 that I requested. After I called them out on this all they said was that that’s great news, the shoes are in stock and I can use my refund to purchase those shoes. I think what’s really happened Is that the shoes I requested were double the price that I had paid originally for the wrong size shoes, so they didn’t want to send me back shoes that were worth more than I paid, despite this whole problem being because they sent me size 4 in a size 5 box. After a few weeks of messaging them on WhatsApp, one day they stopped replying so I messaged them on Facebook messenger and they never replied. Then I use that online chat, this person said I will receive an email. The next day is when I receive the email informing me, I would not be getting sent shoes back. The customer service is awful, they promise things and then go back on their word. I’ve missed out on owning these shoes because they sent me the wrong size in the wrong box and then every size sold out. All they did to apologise for sending me a £4 voucher.

Customer service is consistently terrible.

I've had to contact Adidas a number of times recently for issues with the website and voucher codes not applying despite the items being listed as eligible in the selected items list.

I spoke to 3 different people on chat, who told me different reasons why the voucher code would not apply - item not eligible despite being in the eligible items list, I had to spend £50 but that's no where in the terms and conditions. When I challenged these responses and said I'd already checked these things, the chat mysteriously closed and I have to start another chat session. At no point was I rude to any of the operators, so it seemed to me they just couldn't be bothered doing their jobs properly.

I'd avoid using Adidas unless completely necessary, the products are good but it's not worth the risk if you have any issues you need to speak to customer service about.

SHOCKING

Adidas customer service has got to be the worst service ive experienced in a long long time. In the app i converted loyalty points some into 15% voucher and one into a £10 off voucher. Tested both and both worked together on a pair of £45 joggers. Next day as stuff came up, went to do it again and didnt work. Contacted CS on chat and was told i should have looked at terms of condition 😂 but he said that he would work on giving me my points back for £10 voucher (he lied & more than once) had to prove voucher by screenshot, so lost chat. Went back on chat and 2nd staff member kicked me off the chat as clearly didnt like what i was saying POLITELY. 3rd staff member came on and stated she would fix everything (lied) made me repeat myself 3 times and then said it wasnt possible to give points back as it was an active voucher ( it hadnt been used adidas!!!!!) Worst customer service, reads off a script and not interested in customers. Just avoid, buy from PUMA OR NIKE
