i wonder about regions that are not refered at all,such as middle east,west asia and oceania...what about them?

Well, the overall is a very good thing, you get to know many parcels of yourself when you do the test, the customer service is absolutely on top ! I sent them an email saying that there was missing countries in my results, they proposed to get called by a professor the get explanations and answers to my questions, and he kindly spoke to me for a good 40 min on the phone, and explained that all data was always approximate and that there’s nothing that can be 100% proved right in your results. But overall good experience as they update their informations every month, so you can check new results about yourself and every month. Which also will be just approximate !

I was very nervous about doing this but so far it’s been wonderful. Very detailed and informative!

There was more information than I was expecting. I like it.

The results are sometimes too vague and refer you to long complicated studies.

I loved the simplicity of the presentation of results, everything is very intuitive and easily understandable. The truth is that from the sample collection to the visualization of the genetic results, everything has been wonderful.
As for the accuracy of the results. I always knew I was lactose intolerant even though I didn't have the genetic result, ADNTRO has confirmed it. The rest of the data, all very interesting and, in a way, within what I expected from ancestry.

Results are just OK. Lots of other features to occupy yourself with.

Es lo mejor servicio! Me alegro!! The best service I used but the estimates are inaccurate, I uploaded old results, from another test. My reference pool should be American/European because I was born in the States, which was weird… I did upload it a few times and each time the results were different. What I did like that my Heritage and Ancestry, didn’t have was that it showed my Latin Mediterranean European: Spanish, Italian, my British, and European Latino: Puerto Rican, Mexican and separate Native American heritages. Apparently, I’m Colombian and not Honduran/Belizean too. With this test, half my ancestry was completely wrong, but I was happy to see the other half was correct, although, there should be more European. It also showed my Indian (Indo-Guyanese), but I was missing my Jewish (were Brit’s though) and Arab, something that the other two caught. My Heritage & Ancestry reversed my results and left out my Latino heritage. My Latino family is Spanish & Italian born and this test showed it. It should had shown 65-70% Caucasian (including the Indo-Guyanese/Jewish) and the other percentages should be Native/Mixed. Ancestry used the wrong reference panel and it even listed my Caucasian/Native mixed ancestors under the wrong race based on a location. Plus it connected me to my cousins family and not mine. I did notice that when you are very diverse the results can come out inaccurate but slightly close. These tests are an estimate and it’s not factual, which is what most of us find confusing and don’t understand. Highly recommended, muchisimas gracias! Xo

At first i was very disappointed of ADNTRO. The ethnicity results i got were completely wrong but since the new update it's one of the most accurate DNA Results of all DNA test providers! What I particularly like is that new things are constantly being added. For example games or your own virtual bonsai tree and all of this based on your own DNA! You can't get this novel and creative stuff anywhere else so ADNTRO is a very good choice!

I was OK with the results; it has some differences with the results of other DNA test I took in the past, but it seemed logical anyway, as well as other studies they have available (health, personality traits).

But I was negatively surprised when I logged in and found out that I lost access to my results: if you don’t renew your subscription after a certain time, they just block your results. I get the need for subscriptions, but I always assumed that if you didn’t get the subscription, you just don’t get updates. However, they just take away the access to your original results until you pay again, the same results you already paid for. It seems like a really dishonest practice to me.

If they want to continue with this questionable approach, they should send a notice a few days before you lose access to your results, giving the option to download all the studies (I’m not referring to the raw DNA but the results).

So just 1 star because I feel cheated as a costumer. I wrote to them with this claim and they replied saying that they are a small company and other non sense, not even apologizing for their lack of clear communication.

ADNTRO is constantly refining its genetic results using exclusive models and approaches that make things clearer and accessible for users. Its interactive "box" made for comments, questions and feedbacks is more than a Q-and-A space : it's a space for discussion and interchangeability.

Paid 20euro for haplo group but didn’t have enough data. Very average information nothing you can’t get for free and customer service is terrible.

Eta: maybe don’t charge for a service you can’t provide? Maybe don’t advertise things for free (free gifts LOL) when they are not free. It’s very simple.

Thought it would be more complete. Few results for the price paid.

I do like the way the admixtures are broken down. It's interesting because I am told and asked if I have native ancestry and this test validated that my genetics are similar.

Trustful, i tried their services and the app very easy and covering many subjects

This app is really good and give us the chance to know more about genetics and ancestry. I feel I am having a class with a good teacher. The way they explain all information provided is remarkable. I wish someday to have an ADNTRO DNA test, because I only uploaded my RAW data, but the results are so good.

I had a positive experience with ADNTRO. When I contacted support they were prompt and corrected my issue very quickly. I know your DNA results are still in BETA, so I look forward to see the updates in the future. My health results were spot on and I hope to see some updates in the diet suggestions section as well.
