My 23 & Me results were only determined by the nearest found DNA relative match whereas ADNTRO just gives direct results without comparing my DNA results to random strangers that they assume are actually related. Plus no random strangers like '2nd and 3rd cousins' contact you in the ADNTRO app claiming they're your relative.

I had been looking for a site that could analyze my raw DNA data and tell me if I had any Denisovan ancestry and after much searching I finally found ADNTRO. I was happy to see that their rates were very reasonable so I purchased the full plan that includes a year of updates. Once I could access all of my results I discovered that in addition to being the only site I could find that looks for Denisovan admixture, they also had other reports I have never seen elsewhere such as the heterozygosity report and the genetic personality report. I found the heterozygosity to be very interesting and useful. I also found the personality report to be especially impressive as it predicted my Myers/Briggs personality and since I had actually taken the written Myers/Briggs personality test in the past I knew ADNTRO's prediction was correct out of sixteen possible different personality types! They also include a number of interesting fun facts in the result details many of which I had not heard before despite being very interested in genetics for many years and having studied it in college. In all honesty, my only complaint was that I wished the archaic hominin admixture results stated the number of variants tested for and the number found rather than just a percentage. I sent an online chat about that and one of the very nice ADNTRO employees quickly replied thanking me for my feedback and stating that was something they were planning on updating in the future. Anyway, I am VERY impressed with ADNTRO and highly recommend them!

Misleading- upload DNA not free! They only tell you that after you upload your data!

They claim it is free and show you "demo results", but they don't tell you that these demo results are $29. For free you only get the admixture part, not even ancestry!

This is not honest, hence don't trust them with your data in general.

I trust the results and navigating the apps was fun! Useful DNA results.

Layout not user friendly. Results seem off, since I have verified dna that wasn’t revealed. Love the chromosome level breakdown.

Good experience using this. I learned about a variety of useful/interesting traits about not only ancestry but other intrinsic traits. Solid and responsive customer service too.

I find Adntro covers a wide array of information based on your DNA, which gives you great many insights into your genetic strengths and weaknesses plus there are many fun topics to read about. In my opinion they are on a pretty regular basis, improving upon the content they provide and are innovative and original I think, in what they produce. Their team are very helpful and timely in assisting you with any inquiries you may have and you get a sense that they really like doing what they do.

I like the results but I wish they would be more specific on the results. I got afro caribbean and native american results, but it doesn't tell me what kind of caribbean I am. Very shocking and Interesting results though.

Terrible customer service, they seem unwilling to acknowledge or attempt to solve my issue in uploading raw data.

I am a white European biological woman and identify myself as woman.
ADNTRO report says I am African... MALE with haplogroup ( which are ONLY possible to extract from male dna).
ADNTRO contacted me and told will refund money and apologised for mistake.Mistakes happends, it's small developing company so I can understand... glad that their customer service is helpful and replies quickly!
Rest of results was briefly accurate, especially the ones concerning heath issues.

My mtDNA result was the same as my FTDNA result! Very impressed. Customer service is great too.

do not get this test for the ancestry information! it is okay for health related info but the ethnicity is a JOKE. i am a white American. 3 other reputable DNA tests have me as a mix of : German, French, West Asian, North African, Iberian, Scandinavian and East European. this test said 99% Scottish, Irish & English. all other reputable tests show less than 1% of that ethnicity.

I've been a genetic genealogy hobbyist for 15 years and have tested with many companies around the world. I consider myself to be fairly knowledgable on the subject, as aa result. I have found the latest ADNTRO ethnicity-calculating algorithm, introduced today, to be nothing short of outstanding! The accuracy is superb, and comparable to, or better, than the major players in the ancestry testing field, in my opinion. The quality of the health and traits testing was already excellent.

Has surpassed 23andme and ancestry in accuracy of native american dna, namely region. This result helped corroborate family history.
