I waited in line about 45 mins. and the representative that that assist me with my loan was very rude.

Advance America has been a life saver for me!!!

Unfortunately my experience with store number 1398 in Oak Park Michigan was disastrous. I am a repeat customer and on Tuesday, May 30th 2017, I requested a loan for $6oo.oo. When visiting the OAK Park location at 2pm in the afternoon I found the store was closed. There was a sign stating the store would open at 2:30. I waited outside with other customers while the store stayed closed after the time indicaed. Twenty minutes later a staff member showed up with a myriad of excuses as to why he was late. I eventually received the loan of S600.00 and the money was given to me in $50.00 dollar increments. 12 fifty dollar bills. I left the store went to the ATM at my bank to deposit the funds and it would not accept one of the fifty dollar bills. I then went inside the bank where it was discovered the bill was a fake. I took the fake fifty back to where I received the money, store #1398 . I ADVISED your staff member that the money dispersed to me contained a fake 50.00. He called a superior for advice and I was advised to take the fraudulent bill to a gas station because in his words, Gas Stations Never Check. The fraudulent 50 had cut marks that he did not remember seeing when he gave me the money. I explained that the ATM at my bank recognized the fake money and tagged it as being fraudulent. That's why the cut marks appeared. I called the customer comment line and spoke to another staff member that typed out my complaint, I was eventually contacted by someone named Ty Hilgendorf, who eventually told me t to take the fake 50 back to store 1398 and exchange it for good money. I DID THIS. MY entire afternoon was wasted and in between the bank and Advance America I felt like a criminal trying to pass fraudulent fake money. The issue was eventually resolved yet I still have the lingering feeling that your company is not on the up and up. Ty said that the money dispersed to it's customers is Always Checked. If this is true why did I end up holding a fske fifty?
