I had not been to Advance America since 2011. I had a $30.11 late fee from back then. I asked the lady if I could pay it with a debit card or credit card and she said no, and directed me to a nearby Chase bank. The facility had credit card swipers there so I didn’t understand why they weren’t being used. Twice I had to leave to get bank statement and check stub because your company wouldn’t take the information from my phone. That doesn’t make since if you’re going paperless in the future. It took longer than usual because the printer had no toner and Sandra was trying her best to accommodate all clients in there. She had to go back and forth between fax ribbon and toner to get her work done. She called while I was waiting and said she ordered a week ago and had not heard anything and there was no override from whoever needed to approve it. That’s crazy especially during this time of year when things to get crazy and establishments are overwhelmed with business.
