A country's worth of adventures packing into 8 days!
My wife and I took part in Arctic Adventures' 8-day Heavy Hitter tour; and it was amazing! Every day brought something incredible to see from stunning lavascapes and glacier walks to powerful waterfalls to nesting puffins to relaxing natural spas. It was a whirlwind experience; and you are on the go for most of the time (hey- you can sleep when you're dead). Bring your sense of adventure, warm waterproof clothing, and an eye mask.
We had 3 driver/guides during the tour (all of which were great). Diddy (a.k.a. The Serial Killer) was our guide for the first 6 days. He was so patient and helpful with everyone on this small group tour. He started feeling like a member of the family. Benny was our guide for the Snaefellsness peninsula, and he was pleasant and informative. Christian was our guide for the highlands tour (via raised Ford Excursion). He was so personable and flexible- making small itinerary changes based on the group's needs.
All in all, it was money well-spent (and saved us the stress of navigating the island ourselves). We highly recommend the tour.

Took the 4 hour glacier hike and appreciated that we were split into smaller groups. A fantastic experience with knowledgeable guides!

Very professional and knowledgeable guide this tour is very good if you like to see the many views of Iceland. We liked every single day. Probably one more day and a visit to a Vulcan could enhance the trip more.
Also accommodations were decent and clean.

Three great excursions with Arctic Adventures in Iceland
We went on three great excursions with Arctic Adventures in Iceland and loved it!
However, the Landmannalauger Hike was a bit more extreme and more like mountain climbing than what we anticipated. If you are a bit afraid of heights like me, I would suggest going on a different, more easy hike :)
The guides were lovely on all three trips, and they also helped the ones of us who were a bit slow and afraid on the hike which I really appreciated.

Six Day Island Tour - and Super-Nick!
Did the 6-day island tour with guide Nick Reeves. The only thing that compared to the beauty of the country was Nick himself. Honest, passionate and open. Clearly in his own love affair with the country and it’s people. This was my tenth visit to Iceland and by far my best experience. I’ve been a long time loyal user of Arctic Adventures and will continue to be in future.
See you all soon! Play Ja Ja Ding Dong…

Spectacular
The day was long but we didn’t really feel it. The hike was spectacular. Enrique not an Iceland native was tour guide, he was very in-informative & fun. The hot spring after was crazy as it was very much in the wild but I got in for the experience. Overall a great day!

This was a great walk on the classic trail
This was a great walk on the classic trail with great variety of landscape and terrain: mountains, glacial and river plains, flowery woods and snow fields. Weather to match: sun, wind, snow and rain but always impressive and beautiful. Excellent guide, Arnithor looked after us well and gave us the flexibility to walk as we preferred. The huts were warm and well appointed: nightly visits to the facilities in another hut meant a chance to see 24 hour daylight! After the main trail, some excellent walking up to the heights and down to the river again. An excellent tour. One item worth bringing in addition to those recommended are binoculars.

Glacial Wonders
Myself and 2 friends booked the Glacial Wonders trip which was 4 hrs long.
Our guide Wojciech was absolutely brilliant, he guided the trek at a perfect pace and ensured everyone was safe and looked after well.
The trip itself was beautiful, the initial walk to the glacier was scenic and once we got onto the glacier it was even more beautiful.
It's the perfect trek for a taster and also if you're tight on time.

The overall experience was excellent!
The overall experience was excellent, from pick up to drop off. The hotels were we stayed were really good, with a nice view. The food at the hotels was great. Our tour guide, Sindri, was very kind and knowing. At the end of the tour, he also shared with us some nice icelandic music. My only complain is the bus, I would like to be more space inside. I'm hoping to take the same tour again, but on winter.

4.5 stars excellent adventure
4.5 stars. Amazing 7 days. We had a different guide on day 7 for the Snaefellsness Peninsula, but both guides Gunni and Bjorn were fantastic. The glacier hike will be a standout moment forever. My biggest want was more time at some of the stops, but given how packed most of our days were, it’s understandable and has made me already consider my next trip back, where I can plan things based off of what I have already seen me done. This is an excellent overview and highlight of the Icelandic wonders. Our group of 18 was a great mix of people from around the world, who were game to try most anything, even the fermented shark!

Fantastic trip to the south coast and a hike to the Solheimajokull glacier. We were promptly picked up by driver and guide Linus who was very friendly and gave us lots of information on the areas we were visiting. There was plenty of time at each stop to have a look and explore. He also made sure we got back to Reykjavik in time for our dinner reservations. On the glacier we had Gaia as our guide. She was friendly and clearly enthusiastic about her job and very safety conscious. She also made the trip fun (we tried pure glacier water straight from the glacier and got a little mud from the Eyafjallajokull ash to try out on our skin) and she also gave us information on the glacier, geology and environmental impact. The hike itself was really enjoyable, we spent around an hour hiking on the ice, it was easy and the crampons were not difficult to walk in. All in all we had a fantastic day trip and would definitely book with Arctic Adventures again.

An unforgettable trip but could have been structured better..
I had the most amazing time/tour with Arctic Adventures driving around the ring road of Iceland (April 2022). Our tour guide Thorolfur also made the trip - he was hugely knowledgeable and very easygoing - which made the entire 8-day trip really enjoyable. I would highly recommend doing the ring road tour instead of the golden circle route as there is so much more to see in Iceland than just the tourist highlights near Rekjavik. My only constructive feedback is that some of the days could have been arranged differently, for instance going to a hot spring in the evening and relaxing there for a while instead of going there for an hour in the morning and then continuing on with daily activities. Also, more communication as to if a day's agenda has changed from the original itinerary plan - some people on my tour got a bit ratty when we didn't end up staying where the tour said we would be. I wasn't too bothered by this to be honest, and genuinely had a 10/10 experience, would highly recommend this company for the ultimate Icelandic experience.
