Fun 3 hours Glacier Hike
Had a real fun time going up the glacier and into an icecave, led by a friendly and pretty guide Jana. I would go back for a longer hike if available. Everyone should try it at least once!

Katla ice cave
Was on the Katla ice cave trip. It was an absolutely amazing experience. I could not stop smiling while we were at the glacier(which ended up being more interesting than the ice cave). Our guides did a good job making sure we got a nice trip. Will recommend this trip.

Had an amazing tour in Iceland with this company and its friendly staff. We booked the Glaciers & Waterfalls Tour which I cannot recommend enough. The staff could not help us enough and the trip was very well organized and professional.

Mis-representation
There is no ice cave tour in the 3D South Coast and Golden Circle Tour. When I search for ice cave before my booking, this 3Day tour appears in the list and ice cave was listed in the itinerary. But when I'm on the tour, the guide said there is no ice cave visit. This is purely misleading and mis-representation. I booked this tour because of the ice cave but ended up with no visit to the ice cave at all. Very disappointed. My advice to others is pls clarify before booking.

Highlight of our trip
We initially booked the snowmobiling tour however we were upgraded to the snowmobiling and golden circle. We really enjoyed this tour, it was a full on day but the popular sights of the golden circle were worth seeing. The snowmobiling on the glacier however was truly an unforgettable experience, something we both really really enjoyed. We spent a good hour or so riding across the snowy terrain following the guides seeing sights we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. We also got to witness the sunset (early in Iceland for January) this experience was a highlight of our trip! The team at Arctic adventures were super friendly and helpful.

Incredible, highly recommended.
This was an incredible holiday with Thor (our guide) expertly driving us around all the main sites and areas of natural beauty... we even got a fab surprise visit at the end of the tour and plenty of history too. I was in a group of seven, which seemed ideal, especially as our bus could carry 20! All of the hotels were very good to great, and we had plenty of time in each of the locations to see what we needed to see.
The only minor issue I had, and this is only relevant to those travelling in winter/early spring, was that in a handful of locations, we were asked to walk on icy pathways without suitable winter walking equipment. However, everything else about this holiday was as good as it could have been.

Highly recommend
We typically like to explore new countries on our own but with limited time, and so much to see, we opted for an Arctic Adventure 3-day tour of Iceland. The trip was perfect from start to finish. Easy pickup to start the tour - comfortable bus and the most amazing tour guide Francois! It was well planned out and every day was perfect. There were 18 of us on the bus and 9 of us became friends over the short 3-day period. While Iceland itself is an amazingly beautiful place, Francois made it extra special. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience hiking the glaciers
Me an partner did two glacier hikes. one with cave at Skatfell and the other just a hike at Sólheimajökull.
Both guides were real nice, specially the one in Sólheimajökull (an Italian lady). Though I recommend more the Skatfell with cave, just because of the cave and the landscape.
On the second one I hired boots for about £5 and was the best decision, my feet were warm and dry. My normal waterproof ice boots would not have kept my feet dry and warm in the cave where you have to walk through a little stream.
Nice group size, it is an easy hike

Amazing experience
We went to Iceland in January and decided to go on the snowmobile with Arctic Adventures. It was a lifetime experience. Worth every penny. Booking the adventure online was very easy. We were picked up from the hotel early on the morning by our guide in a Monster Bus :D (it was very cool!) It toked about 2 hours to get to the glacier with one stop in a camp. When we got to the glacier we were supplied with all gear and our guide explained how to use the snowmobile. Because we went in January the weather conditions were quite rough we were advised to go in the column and not wonder off the route. Our guide toked very good care of us and was checking on everyone so we were safe. When we reached our destination we left the snowmobiles and went to explore the ice cave. Again beautifully experience. I would definitely do it again without hesitation. Big thanks to the Arctic Adventures for organising it!

Glacier Hiking is Amazing
The hike was one of the greatest experiences of my life and the views were like nothing else in the world. It was an afternoon hike in the winter so the sun hit its peak right as we got to the top of the glacier and the main character hero moment was priceless. The guide showed us how to climb ice walls at 90 degrees using special climbing ice axes. The guide was amazing; he clearly knew the glacier incredibly well and was very helpful and informative as we hiked the glacier. Definitely dress warmly for winter hiking. I rented boots which was a great choice because of the amount of snow.

Told everyone that I met up with later to definitely check out Arctic Adventures...already want to plan a trip back and definitely going to look into their other excursions!

Very professional service
Very professional service, all information was provided that was needed, and the guide on the glacier tour, Alex, was fantastic. They had a close eye on the weather to make sure the activity was safe & kept us well informed. Great experience all round

The most incredible experience!
Thank you so much for the most amazing experience! The tour guide Sven was really fun, full of energy and just great and made the day even more exciting. We were all quite nervous having never done anything like snowmobiling before but I couldn't recommend it more to anyone, totally worth the money! The ice cave just tipped off the experience, I have never seen anything like this in my life and it was such a special experience knowing that the cave was going to be closed in a few weeks time and we were some of the last people to ever see this. Thank you so much for some of my favourite ever memories ❤️

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!
VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Most of the time it’s not actually them running the tours, they are selling on behalf of other companies.
Booked a snowmobile and ice cave tour through them, which cost £240 per person. On the tour, the snowmobile didn’t work properly and communication was poor. Was told to email them to make a complaint.
I spoke to them on the phone and they told me I need to contact Amazing Tours. It has been over a week and I have had no response.
I believe that as they are the tour company I booked the tour with, this is an issue they should be helping me resolve, rather than leaving me unsatisfied with the experience. Instead I feel like they are fobbing me off and washing their hands of the situation. TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY!

Dangerous Company to Tour With
We really wanted to see the northern lights, but but the unsafe conditions of the bus prevented us from doing so. The bus smelled like a mix of gasoline and wood stainer so much so that we could taste the chemicals and we're getting headaches. Other customers noted the smell, too. We had to get off the bus before the bus left Reykjavik and take a long walk back to our hotel because the smell was so sickening, and we feared the health consequences of breathing the fumes.
The company claimed it was due to disinfectant, but no other tour we took through them featured toxic fumes, so that only makes sense if they're not disinfecting most of the time and using stainer when they do.
The company refuses to refund us the money.
Go with Reykjavik Excursions instead. Their bus and customer service are both much better.

Awful scam!
Waited an hour and a half in the freezing cold and no one picked us up for the Northern Lights tour. No call, no response. We watched people get picked up by other tour companies on time. They had rearranged the tour twice already and put us at a great inconvenience in our trip. We have now missed the chance to see the lights and the company have ruined this for us. The whale watching was also a waste of time and felt like we were being conned jnto 'seeing' a glimpse of a whale. Utterly awful. Avoid.
