Aerial Collective Duxford Reviews 

Wow, what an exhilarating, exciting and memorable experience I had in the professional hands of Aerial Collective on September 3rd 2019 (the day war broke out and our 42nd wedding anniversary), when I took to the air with Stu Goldspink (“Spinkers”). From the minute we arrived (this was a present from my wife, Sarah), the team (Hannah, Lisa and Pam) were charming, knowledgeable and totally reassuring. For me to get into the Spitfire T9 was a treat of a lifetime and to fly over so many airstrips used during the “Battle of Britain” was very thought provoking, especially as I have met and treated some of the “Guinea Pigs” (fighter pilots shot down and injured during the war and treated at the QVH in East Grinstead, where I was a consultant plastic surgeon). Stu (the pilot) was terrific and so skilled. The aerobatics were phenomenal – barrel rolls, victory rolls and several loops one after another – simply amazing and thank you Stu for a wonderful and unforgettable trip with you.
The Spitfire flight, Duxford aerodrome and the Imperial War museum is a must and will exceed all your expectations.

I have been in love with the Spitfire for nearly 80 years, never thought I would ever fly one! Dreams really do come true at Aerial Collective.

I loved my Spitfire flying experience with Aerial Collective. All the staff are very professional and caring and really pull out all the stops to ensure you thoroughly enjoy your day.
There's a private great tour of the hangar where they are working on various aircraft to bring them up to flying capability. The safety briefing is comprehensive and a bit of a reality check giving you a chance to change your mind should you wish to.
The flight profile is whatever you want it to be subject to the discretion of the pilot. Aerobatic manoeuvres if you wish or just spotting the old aerodromes and features of the countryside; there's no pressure to be a hero. Cameras fore and aft capture the flight in video for you.
The sound and the smell of the engine are something quite unique.

From start to finish the whole company were part of our ruse to surprise the recipient of a Spitfire flight, once the truth was revealed the staff continued with enthusiasm to fulfil Dereks dream. The smile is still on his face , it really was a day he will always remember. Great videos supplied will keep it fresh in his mind . I can not thank the team enough and HIGHLY recommend them to everyone that is thinking of this experience , you will NOT regret it x

This was a fantastic experience flying in The Sea Fury at Duxford Aerodrome with Aerial Collective. You will receive a warm welcome from Lisa and the ground crew when you arrive at reception located in the Aircraft Restoration Company hangar. The warmth, smiles and professionalism you receive will be a feature of the day. A safety meeting and video follows and then its out to meet your pilot and aircraft. Guests can accompany you to a dedicated viewing area to get a close up view of your experience with opportunities for close up photos. I was privileged to fly with Pilot John Dodd who gave me an incredible flight. A flight in this super aircraft will not disappoint, its awesome. After landing there is plenty of photo opportunities with both aircraft and pilot. The friendly banter continues right up until you leave the site and then you can explore IWM Duxford exhibits. Thanks to all at Aerial Collective for a flight of a lifetime!

For any warbirds fanatic, this is the place to be. Taking off with the 27 litre Merlin roaring and this gorgeous elliptical wing running over the runway will let you speechless. The flight over the country is beyond description, you can even fly this magnificent airplane.
The staff at Aerial Collective is very professional, making the day an unforgettable experience. Thanks.

What a great day we all had at Duxford, thanks to the amazing staff at Aerial collective, they were so helpful and enthusiastic about our day.
I strongly recommend that you go and see them, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Once in a lifetime experience, and treated like absolute gold. There’s no question that every member of the Aerial Collective crew loves aviation, probably even more than you do. I flew PV202, one of their twin Spitfires, and it’ll be a memory I hold on to forever. Heck. I’ll likely have to do it at least once more.

There are experiences and then there are fabulous experiences. Aerialcollective provided the latter with a flight in a beautiful, iconic Spitfire, a great pilot who let me fly it once airborne and performed a barrel-roll over the airstrip as the ultimate finale.
Hannah and Lisa could not do enough to make it a great day for us all - and they were a good laugh as well.
You also need to put at least 2 hours aside to go around the adjacent Imperial War Museum - included as part of the day.

This experience was even better than I could have possibly imagined!
Everyone (from Hannah with the logistics to Aaron who set up the safety detail to Brian the pilot) was incredibly helpful, informative and re-assuring in the whole process. A real once in a lifetime opportunity that was a lot of fun!

Gareth, who flew with Cliff Spink in the Spifire, was over the moon and all his supporting spectators thoroughly enjoyed the experience as well. Our hosts, Hannah and Aaron were both pleasant and attentive. All in all it was a wonderful day out - and highly recommended!

Thoroughly recommended

Although we visited as non flying guests of a friend who was flying as a passenger, I cannot praise enough the Aerialcollective staff for the degree of hospitality and enthusiasm with which we were greeted. Lisa could not have been a better host, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Additionally, every engineer we met on our hanger tour was happy to break from the task in hand to explain the detail of their work. First rate.

If you want to go flying this is the place to go. Hannah and Lisa organised it very well and were very helpful right from the booking stage. The flight with Brian in the Sea Fury was a real treat, my first time doing aerobatics and couldn`t have been with a better pilot. He was very reassuring.
Everyone at Aerialcollective was very helpful and seemed happy to chat about aeroplanes.

A superb experience, so well organised and very friendly. If you want to fly in a classic war bird they will make your day very special indeed.

I was very fortunate to win a flight in a spitfire through a competition offered by Bremont watches. Whilst it took a few attempts due to the weather, the day finally arrived and was even better than I was already anticipating ; I would recommend it to everyone.
I really want to make a special mention though to Hannah who organised everything for me. She was not only extremely efficient but also very friendly and ever helpful. Along with the other staff , she made a great day even better and as a bucket list dream come true, it was 10 out of 10. I am saving up for another go, and it will definitely be with Aerialcollective.
