Diabolically slow on evenings and weekends when customer service is closed. Very disappointed with this company.

Like nearly all of the reviews here, we have very very poor service.
We are paying for 25Mbps and getting about 12-19 in the day and around 3 in the evening and at weekends, which is when we want to use the IPTV, so it is completely unwatchable and both are a waste of money.
We used them about 4 years ago for our holiday home and they were great, which is why we used them again this time, sorry to say they have been more than disappointing.
We are now looking into alternative suppliers

Don't bother with this internet service…

Don't bother with this internet service provider they constantly have offers available with speeds that they almost never get anywhere close to . Evenings speeds are next to useless we have been with them for about two years now and we are constantly having to contact them because we don't even get 50%of the speed we pay for. No customer support during weekends and they always say our technical team are working on the problem and we will contact you but they never do.
I am customer number 84530 should Aeromax feel like actually getting in touch.

After a number of years with AEROMAX

After a number of years with AEROMAX, some of the complaints here are understandable, but my experience is that the service is close to 100% of that which is contracted and of excellent quality.
It's true that shortly after getting the service there were some serious issues with the reception but the engineer came and changed the orientation of the dish, which made a huge improvement. Then the same reception problems arose but this time they instructed me on where to redirect the dish about two years ago and all is very satisfactory with an excellent service.
True that the personal telephone service is not available on Saturdays and Sundays but if you leave a voice recording with your customer number and a short description of your problem, then these messages ARE listened and action provided by their technicians where possible, with a phone call from AEROMAX lady to advise. This has been my experience quite recently, as my own Router and cable were faulty but the AEROMAX people helped me to resolve the matter over the weekend.
Thank you AEROMAX.

Not worth the savings anymore

We have been with Aeromax for around 16 months. At the beginning, the service at our house was great (we are only 150 meters from one of their towers), the download and upload speeds were within 20% of what was contracted - which is acceptable - there were few disruptions and the English customer service was fantastic and very prompt.

Then we installed Aeromax at a second location used for tourist rentals, 500-700 meters straight line distance from the same tower.
We had a lot of complaints and we had to cancel the service.
Thankfully Fiber had arrived at that location by that time.

Then at the beginning of this summer, the service at our house started to deteriorate, slowly but surely. By last weekend, we were experiencing latency of up to 2.5 seconds when it should be under 100 ms - up to 200 ms is not a big deal except for video calls. At 250 ms, you can not make proper VoIP calls anymore and at 2500 ms (2.5 seconds) you're practically without internet and will have trouble loading even simple web pages.

After 3 days not hearing back from customer service and virtually being without internet and using my mobile as a WiFi hotspot, I finally decided to rotate the antenna today toward another tower about 1.5 km away but at a much higher elevation because I was running out of mobile data!

I have manged to restore the service, or rather a connection (for now) and the speed is consistent with what others have already reported (about 1/4 to 1/3 of the contracted speed) but at least I have some service.

When we contracted Aeromax originally, it was because we used a lot more data than Vodafone's 4G internet allowed (which was 50 GB at the time) and without Fiber or ADSL coverage we didn't really have another choice.

But with the service either non-existent or at 1.5 Mbps, we can't use more than 80 GB of data (Voda's current cap) even if we tried, so why save a few euros and deal with all this hassle?! Really, that's where we're at right now and if we don't have a fix from Aeromax by the end of today, we will have to switch back to Vodafone.

If minus 10 stars were possible....

If minus 10 stars were possible....

The past weeks I complaint daily about the speeds being 25% of the contracted speed.
Meaning less than 10Mbps while contracted 50Mbps.

There was an extensive email conversation with "info at aeromax.es" , but they never really answered my questions, I felt completely ignored.

When I suggested i'd better leave, I got this reply:
≠≠================================

Ok, whatever you like

I do not gain from you staying or going so i have no need to misinform but think what you wish

Just inform us a month in advance and the service would be cancelled

Aeromax has improved over the years and is now an exceptional provider.
I have had this service for a number of years and had no problems. You get the speeds advertised and a good back up service from helpful service staff, who speak a range of languages.
I highly recommend Aeromax.

Aeromax España honest review

Absolutely rubbish, never get the amount of mbps that i pay for the say u never get the exact amount of mbps but i pay for 16 mbps and get 6 mbps so 10 mbps less. Customer service is diabolical and it always takes them ages to solve the problems with internet, would recommend this internet provider.

Double Billing of Mobile Calls

Last August I added a second mobile phone to my Aeromax contract and since then the invoiced amounts for the second mobile have included the invoiced amounts for the first mobile. Usually, my wife and I make very little use of the phone network so the call charges are less than a euro per phone.

I raised a query in December last year when I had made a €10 call on the first mobile and noticed the second mobile charge was just over €10. Checking the call detail page of the invoice confirmed my suspicion of doubling up the charge.

After many emails and phone calls to customer services I received a curt email telling me I was wrong and there was nothing wrong with the invoices. I kept at it month after month and finally believed I was making progress last month when I spoke to customer services and the woman looked at my invoice and agreed with me that I was being double charged.

Today, I received an email saying that I was wrong and the invoice is correct. There was no reference to every other invoice I have queried.

This is totally unacceptable.

The internet speed is often very low.

The internet speed is often very low.
They also refuse automatic payments with a foreign acccount.
So I have to hold on to an expensive spanish bank. This is against the law, they must accept sepa payments but they simply refuse!

I'm sorry to see all these bad reviews

I'm sorry to see all these bad reviews. My experience has been good. I got so fed up of Movistar's broken promises that I enquired with three wireless operators. One didn't reply. One didn't have coverage, but Aeromax did. They responded to my enquiry promptly and the price was clear. The technician came on time and was very good. Within 30 minutes I was up and running with a strong signal, which stayed strong even in the heavy rain which followed. I'm paying for 6 mb/sec and get around 7. My only criticism is on the deign of the router. The wps is like a rocker switch just above the reset button and every time I press the wps to pair a range extender it activates the reset function, which is very frustrating.
