I ordered a backpack from AER during their Black Friday sale. It was delivered fast and well-packaged. However, I decided I wanted to swap models and got in touch with them. Howard at AER was super helpful and managed to process the swap no problem at all. I love the new bag and the whole experience was great. I would imagine I’ll have the bag for many years but I’ll be looking forward to my next AER purchase!

The Aer Travel Pack 3 Small is a purpose-built travel and work backpack. It is designed around function, durability, and organisation rather than looks, and that shows in every part of the bag.

The materials are outstanding. The Cordura ballistic nylon is thick, rigid, and abrasion-resistant. The bag keeps its shape even when half-loaded and never feels floppy or cheap. The zips are heavy duty, smooth, and clearly chosen for long-term reliability rather than weight or cost.

The main compartment opens fully clamshell-style, making packing simple and efficient. With packing cubes, it works like a compact suitcase on your back. Despite being the “Small” version, it carries a surprising amount while staying within sensible carry-on and under-seat limits.

The laptop compartment is one of the best available in any backpack. It is suspended, heavily padded, and holds a large laptop and tablet securely with no pressure on the corners or screen.

The front admin section is genuinely useful, not filler. Cables, chargers, passport, power bank, and small tech all have dedicated spaces so nothing sinks to the bottom.

Comfort is excellent. The shoulder straps are thick and supportive, and the structured back panel keeps the load stable instead of pulling away from your back. Even when packed heavy, it stays balanced and comfortable.

What makes this bag stand out is that it works as both a travel bag and a serious work bag. You can fly with it, live out of it for a few days, then walk straight into an office without changing bags.

Bottom line:
The Aer Travel Pack 3 Small is not cheap, but it is engineered. If you want one backpack that does carry-on travel, commuting, and tech carry properly without compromises, this is one of the best options on the market.

I recently ordered 2 items from the Aer UK store. The order was processed quickly. Delivery from the UK to The Netherlands was swift. My order was processed on a Thursday and I received the order on the following Monday.

One item wasn't included in the order. I followed up with customer support. Human errors happen. It's about how possible errors are corrected. I'm happy with the way Aer UK handled the issue. Next time I'd want to order an Aer product, I'd order from Aer UK again.

After a recommendation from a colleague, I got the City Pack Pro Ultra. It's a really good bag, and fantastic as for taking on planes as a carry-on — it just fits under the seat in front. I recently came off my bike and I was sure that my laptop would have been destroyed, but everything was fine. My only criticism is that the padding at the bottom of the back of the bag has started to pill.

I recently purchased the Aer City Pack Pro from their London store. A few days after purchasing, they discounted the bag by £35 as a new version had just been released. I emailed them explaining the situation and asked if they would consider reimbursing the difference. I thought maybe they would offer store credit as a goodwill gesture. Nope, within 48 hours they refunded the £35 back to my card, no questions asked. A fantastic company that I hope to buy from in the future again.

I write this message with a bit of disappointment. After all the good things I have heard about your bags, I finally decided to get my first one and begin my Aer journey. I travel a lot for work, and it has always been painful to find the right bag to carry my laptop, iPad, and work stuff. When I heard about you guys, I decided to give it a go.

I ended up going for the Tech Sling 3 X-Pac. When it arrived, I absolutely loved it. Perfect size, looked really premium, and everything fit perfectly. I mean, what else could I have asked for? You guys are not the cheapest, but I thought, "You know what? This bag is worth it.

Unfortunately, this joy didn’t last long. Two days ago, I found that the material on the front side of the sling is already damaged, even though I have used the bag no more than six times in less than a month. I offered to upgrade/pay the difference to get another bag style, perhaps one more suitable to my needs, but I was told no because the damage was allegedly caused by my poor handling. Disappointed – DO NOT BUY.
