Still no refund after a month — repeatedly ignored UK consumer law
I ordered a product on 20 May and was told it shipped the next day. It never arrived. What followed was weeks of chasing, broken promises, and the company refusing to refund me unless the courier returned the parcel — which is not how UK consumer law works.
Despite multiple emails, they kept changing their story: first saying I had to wait for DHL, then promising an “immediate refund”, then saying it was only a “refund request”, then promising again, and again failing to deliver. Even after acknowledging my legal right to a prompt refund, nothing happened.
As of 25 June — over a month later — I still have no refund, and they silently closed my support case.
I’ve reported them to Trading Standards and initiated a chargeback. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Warranty and customer support is awful!! 1st unit failed while charging. There was a loud pop sound, burning smell and smoke from the battery pack. It was only used a few times before this issue. A “replacement” was sent only after the failed unit was sent back and confirmed to have failed. The replacement was a refurbished unit. I found that information out when it failed in a similar way. Has to argue over email to get shipping it back covered. When they received the unit back they asked if I had opened the unit as there was a bunch of screws missing. So the refurbished unit they said was perfectly fine and in working order, was clearly not ok. The 3rd refurbished replacement unit just arrived and it has a gap between the bottom and top pieces and that area is bowing out. I send photos and videos to customer service. Their response was that it was perfectly fine and that was due to compression during transport. I am completely disgusted with this company. This battery pack has had two units start in fire while charging. The customer service refuses to provide a phone number to speak with someone. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM AFERY!

Aferiy 2800 was purchased 4th March 2026 but something went wrong and it needed to be repaired. As I had disposed of the box they supplied a new box and once it was packed I was sent a returns label which I fixed to the box and took it to the local Post Office. Later they contacted me and informed me that it had arrived back with them for repair and I now have it back in working order. Very pleased with the outcome this is a quality product.

When I registered for the 7 year guarantee of my P310 power station, the after-sales customer service staff duly provided prompt assistance and friendly, patient service. My P310 now has its free 7 (2+5) year guarantee.

Brilliant service from the after sales team, will definitely be buying from them again.

I bought my system over two years ago and then life got in the way. After two years I seen the box sitting in the corner still unopened. I finally opened the box and found the card offering a five year extended warranty, I thought there's no way they are going to warranty this after two years later, but I submitted it anyway. I couldn't believe it but extremely quick I received a response from the after service team, that they have issued me a five year extended warranty giving me a full seven year warranty on my system. That's customer service that you never hear of, quick and great service shows just how much they believe in their products. So glad I went with them for my solar power needs. Thank you Aferiy

Fast and friendly customer service with a good amount of goodwill. I made a mistake during ordering that made the product much more expensive, which I did not notice until two days later. I asked their support if they would apply the better price retrospectively and they immediately reacted and returned the difference. Wow!
Product is a P180 Pro which looks good, but I could not yet try it out.
