I used African Ancestry, along with 2 other dna firms,using the scientific process of 3:1 ratio, I have a clearer picture of where I came from. Now, I create my ancestral history instead of Macmillan textbooks. I got so overwhelm with happiness, I sent for the maternal test to compliment the paternal. Thank you AA for providing this important service. My father left the home when I was three. I'm 60+ and I needed to fill some empty spaces. They're filled. Olorun blesses you. God bless AA!

It was great! The communication while waiting was valuable. The only improvement I’d suggest is to create a way for us to connect with family members.

The results were extremely specific. My only complaint is the time to receive your results.

I was very very surprised to find out I have Fulani DNA but thinking back over my childhood and looking at old pictures it made perfectly good sense! I can't wait to do my father's side.

My father was raised by his grandmother and didn’t know his father. I was able to trace his family back to 1801 on his mother’s side. Having this information about his Akan ancestry gives him some knowledge of his father, which means a lot to dad. This information will help me in my search to find his father.
Also, my brothers and I are ECSTATIC to find out that WE ARE AFRICAN!!!

Great, I now have a deeper knowledge of who I am and where I come from.

I just felt like it took so long for the results to come back. Other than that it was great to learn what region I'm from. My family was also ecstatic about learning that information. Too bad we can't visit that area due to the civil unrest..

The information was valuable but I think it took too long to arrive. Also, providing background on the regions they were discovered thru the test would have been better

I was told I would have my results between 10/14 and 10/28. It’s now November 3rd and I haven’t received even an email to communicate status. This is disappointing
