A dream come true. everything was perfect. Tour guide, hotels, food destinations could not be faulted. Unlike other tours we have been on, we were not guided to businesses wanting us to spend money there. The information about Iceland past and present was fascinating. Iceland exceeded our expectations on every level. Did not get to see the Northern Lights so will have to go back.

The hotel in napar was not a 3* and we had 2 nights on a degraded and molded room...

I really loved our guide and our bus…
I really loved our guide and our bus driver as well on our recent tour of Iceland.. Both were knowledgeable and I felt very safe on our trip.. Both were receptive to the group on our bus and could answer any questions that we had would go back again!!
The hotels where we stayed were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the museums that we visited... I felt like I learned a great deal.

Geology good, viewing arrangements for aurora poor
In general the tour was good with some fantastic scenery and geology, but the arrangements for viewing the aurora were poor - a field inside a village where there was a lot of ambient light meant that under low solar activity conditions, it was very hard to see the aurora with the naked eye. I had presumed we would be bussed out to a dark spot for this.

The tour and tour guide were great.
The tour and tour guide were great. The scenery was beautiful. We missed one site because the road was closed but they added a few places that were accessible. I highly recommend Iceland Travel.

Amazing country
Very well organized trip. The guide, Hannah, did it excellent and took us to wonderful places. I found everything spectacular. The only thing that I would improve is the accomodation.

This tour was fantastic
This tour was fantastic! Iceland is an absolute ‘bucket list’ destination. A country worth giving a bit more of your time as it gives back to you. I hate the word awesome, but it is so apt for this beautiful land. The scenery is nothing short of majestic and the history (sagas) is an enthralling recount of this country’s development. Modern day Iceland is nurtured by its people who share a bond of care and protection of a land that though is raw and somewhat difficult to manage, gives back to its inhabitants in many ways.
I thank my tour guide Hana for giving me a love of this country and respect for her people.
So glad I went with you guys! So where to next!
