Very poor agency that is only concerned…
Very poor agency that is only concerned with making a quick placement. We hired through this company and sadly it did not work out as the candidate just didn’t fit into our business. The fee was 7k. The aftercare was appalling and we were made to pay the full fee with absolutely no reductions at all. The lack of compassion from this agency is alarming, and their hard nosed approach means I will not be using them again. I wish them the best of luck however business is built on relationships and not short term, quick fire placements.

As per our recent contact, we were sorry to hear that the candidate handed in their notice and was employed for just 6 months after placement. Despite your case being outside of our 2-month refund or replacement guarantee, it’s regrettable that the solution we offered as a monetary ‘gesture of good will’ and a replacement candidate was not accepted.
We agreed payment terms at the outset - these were not adhered to, which we challenged. I’m sorry that you felt this was ‘hard nosed’.

For reader clarity – To address some of the statements made in this review –
We work in partnership with our clients and candidates, not just through the recruitment process, but to offer support (where required) into their first few months of placement at the very least. We describe the role, culture and working hours accurately, based on the brief from the client. If some element of a role, culture or hours differs, then this is beyond the scope of our remit.

We offered a number of solutions, at our cost, despite these being outside of the scope of the agreed terms of business, (there was no refund due to the client due to the length of time the candidate was employed). Our aftercare, solution and monetary offer, demonstrates compassion and integrity for our customer.

We’re sorry to hear that your employee left the business after a short time. In our experience of placing 100’s of candidates a year, your experience is a very rare occurrence. On the few occasions that it does occur we have always worked with the client to reach a solution quickly to limit business disruption.
Our excellent reputation has been built on long term client partnerships, that are built on openness, integrity and communication – this is reflected in the fact that over 80% of our business is from repeat customers.
It’s regrettable that our Senior Management Team were unaware of this event until the time of your review, and therefore unable to offer support prior to your employee leaving the business. However, we look forward to speaking with you again on Monday to agree the next steps towards a solution.
For reader clarity - Our T&C’s are very brief with no legal jargon, and the recruitment service is delivered at our risk (no upfront costs until we deliver candidates to the clients satisfaction). There is a comfort clause to protect the client which offers a free of charge replacement for the first 2 months. This is designed to allow the client sufficient time to conduct their due diligence, induct, train and have a fully operational employee. The events and quality of this process is completely in the hands of the client. We’re always more than happy to support both the client and candidate beyond the remit of our service i.e. after placement, whenever requested, to assist with longevity of a candidate placement.
Great Service AgriRS
I spoke with Agricultural Recruitment Specialists towards the end of 2023 with regards two roles they were advertising. Whilst the jobs sounded ideal, realistically the locations just were not suitable. However, I have to say that in particular I have had absolutely incredible service from Jessica Gwynn who kept in touch and this week, has managed to set up a meeting for me with a major league player in my industry for a role that hasn’t even been advertised. Jessica must have an amazing network of contacts. In my opinion, Jessica Gwynn has proved she is a five star recruitment consultant. Thank you Jessica.
