Item not as described. Tried to tell me I should have read the full description, yet there wasn't a single photo of the actual item on sale on their website. Total misrepresentation. When I suggest that they needed to change the description to 'Reservoir and lid ONLY' so people wouldn't be mislead, they refused, saying they'd never had a problem in the past. Who in their right mind, after knowing that a customer clearly had experienced a problem, would simply ignore the issue. Very poor customer service. Also they charged me £8.90 postage for a packet containing two lightweight pieces of plastic that, even with box, weighed less than 7ozs. I returned it for £3.15 with tracking and insurance, a difference of over £5. They company refused to give me back my original postage and return postage. So I set up a claim with Paypal. Item was fully refunded without any opposition and PayPal refunded my return postage. Needless to say I will not be using again. They need to get their act together as even today they still haven't altered their website description for the item.

UPDATE - I have seen your reply below and looked at the product page and I'm afraid 'more clarity' is the last thing it offers, although why you aren't after 'full clarification' is beyond me. I see there still isn't a single photo of the product on the web-page and your wording still doesn't say reservoir and lid ONLY. If all your illustrations continues to show the full machine, then people will expect the full machine - it's not rocket science. Must say, it makes me wonder about your reasons and reluctance to address the disinformation properly. And all the above just goes to clearly demonstrate that you do not 'hear your customers' despite what you claim. You also state, 'mistakes do happen' - I agree, but they also shouldn't be further compounded, or ignored.

I went onto AHP’s website to order a CoaguChek machine. The site showed the one I wanted was in stock, so I placed the order, paid by credit card, payment approved, received a confirmation email to say delivery would be 5-7 working days...great! 2 days later I get an email saying they were out of stock and that they would refund my payment. What kind of a rubbish system allows them to take a payment if they don’t have the blessed thing in stock!

I've spoken to the representative and they were very apologetic and sincere, told me about the high demands I understand that hospital, care homes and front line staff comes first, the representative he told me about the high demand and will process my order once it's ready.
