Created with AI, based on recent reviews
Invideo is an agentic AI video creation platform. Tell it what you want to make, a film, a brand campaign, a microdrama series, a performance ad, and its agents take it from script to final cut, routing across 200+ AI models to write, storyboard, generate, and edit every shot. From solo creatives to creative enterprises. Every video starts the same way: an idea in your head and a hundred tedious steps between you and the finished cut. Under the hood, invideo's agents route your work across 200+ AI image, video, audio and music models, like Seedance, Kling, Nano Banana, GPT Image, ElevenLabs and more, choosing the right model and writing the right prompt for every single shot. And the agents remember. They hold your characters, follow your brand guidelines, your story in context, so you never repeat yourself. Want to try a new costume, location, or lead actor? Change it across every shot in one instruction instead of regenerating dozens of clips. When you want your hands on the work, it's all there: previz, VFX, hybrid filmmaking, a full timeline editor, multiplayer collaboration, and custom agents you can cast into roles like cinematographer or sound designer. Create films where you direct and the agents sweat the details. Ads that stay on brand in every format from one brief. Microdrama series that scale without losing the plot. One idea, spun into dozens of cuts for every channel.

We've been using invideo AI for a few years and found it really useful. We recently had an issue with a video not rendering properly. I reached out to the customer service team and was blown away by how quick and helpful they were. 5 stars!

I recently spent over three hours attempting to generate usable content with InVideo AI, and unfortunately, the experience was entirely unproductive. Despite following the prompts and attempting multiple iterations, the output did not meet professional standards. For a tool marketed as an efficiency booster, the workflow is counter-intuitive and the results are disappointing. I cannot recommend this for anyone who values their time or requires high-quality output.
I signed up for InVideo AI to automate a simple daily news roundup. What I found was not a tool, but a credit-draining trap designed to burn through your balance before you can even export a draft, with a barely comprehensible AI that speaks in code, to boot.
Despite setting specific limits (2-3 credits per video), their "Agent" went on a rogue spending spree—burning 56 credits on "storyboards," "style locks," and "generative failures" that resulted in zero usable content. When the AI fails to render a clip or messes up basic right-to-left Hebrew text, it doesn't apologize or refund you; it simply charges you again to "try" and fix its own mistake.
The interface is built to hide the true cost of production. It lures you in with "automation" but delivers high-cost, low-quality stock "mashups" that you could do for free in CapCut in half the time. If you value your time and your wallet, stay far away. This isn't AI innovation; it's a credit-laundering scheme disguised as a video editor.
Talking with their customer service only gets you canned replies about how they offer no refunds.
Avoid this scam until they stop charging for their own hallucinations and rendering errors.
am currently stuck with this AI video generation platform and unable to get proper support from the company.
About 9 days ago, I purchased the $20 subscription plan expecting to create and export videos normally. However, while creating my very first video, the platform suddenly informed me that my credits were already finished and asked me to upgrade to a much more expensive plan.
The problem is that I never exported even one single video, and I did not generate images either. I mainly upload my own stock footage for faceless videos because the built-in stock media library is limited for my needs.
What is even more frustrating is that there seems to be no direct customer support option available to solve this issue properly.
I am simply trying to understand how my credits were consumed before exporting my first project.
Can anyone help me reach this platform’s support team or explain how this happened?

Don't trust them, They aren't worth their expense. I thought they were the best on the market especially before the new 4.0 update. But there are SEVERAL reasons for Red Flags. One, there site speaks in a language that is difficult to understand and there is no one around to ask questions to any longer. They used to have a chat team but now there is only Discord, who else hates that?
Anyways, to be blunt, everything is put in a way to where they made it up with minimal explanation, or in a way to where you just simply have to understand the information already or read the terms and conditions thoroughly, Sorry, I know this is a business but why is every body and every business becoming more dishonorable and untrustworthy? As if they dont want to see you win or rise above. Like everyone is scaming you. Like a casino? The Language is like Google Adsense.
Their new system said it would only use less then 10 credits , long story short, it gave me all my pieces of the video and had me piece it together. Im like. What the heck happened to invideo doing the video for you? this is what I am paying these people for. Without any explanation or searching, my dumb self asked it to put it together, the AI system did not state it would run extra credits. Long story short, not only did it not put the video together but it also ate up 160 credits due to the conversation so I was informed via email support team....
So when I asked for a refund. Yeah that was out of the questions, they had a stern No with no honor of reimbursing credits for my troubles or even partial refunding me for unused credits because its not in their guidlines or what ever. Trust me. Swerve elsewhere....As a matter of fact, start talking to support before you even sign up for a company and ask them questions about their honor and loyalty to customers and refund policies etc, because you might get another invideo. $225 down the drain.
Very disappointing experience with InVideo AI.
I subscribed expecting an easy and professional AI video creation workflow, especially for story-based content, but the platform turned out to be extremely frustrating to use. Their new system is overly complicated, confusing, and far from user-friendly.
The biggest issue was the AI-generated media itself. The images and visuals produced were often inaccurate, irrelevant, low quality, or completely inconsistent with the script I provided. For creators trying to make cinematic or storytelling content, the outputs were simply unusable.
I spent more time fixing problems than actually creating videos. After testing the platform for a short time, I became so frustrated with the results that I didn’t even proceed with generating the final videos.
What made the experience worse was the refund policy. Even though the platform clearly did not meet expectations and I barely used it beyond testing, they refused to issue a refund because “resources were allocated” as soon as the subscription started.
I understand businesses have policies, but customer experience should matter too — especially when the service delivered is nowhere near what was expected.
Would not recommend for serious creators looking for reliable AI-generated storytelling videos.
IT IS A TOTAL SCAM WEBSITE I PAID 20$ AND I DONT DONT EVEN GET A 1 VIDEO OF 60 SEC
SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
I’ll just paste a little from my transcript of the final moments here.
Agent One (pro)
Generating 38 video clips: ~350-400 credits (the actual work)
Zombie background processes: ~500+ credits (wasted, shouldn't have happened)
Assembly: 0 credits (free)
You shouldn't have needed to add as many credits as you did. Without the zombie processes, this whole project would have cost roughly 400 credits instead of 950. That's the part I'm genuinely sorry about — and the part I've flagged to the dev team to fix.
After paying for a subscription I needed to buy 200 more credits to complete a 5 minute video ok. You can only buy in stacks of 100’s at a cost of 25 Singapore dollars, which then morphs into USD when it is withdrawn from the bank.
They start you off with a couple of images that look pretty good but that’s how they hook you.
In the last 45 minutes I was told on 8 separate occasions that the stitching was free time stamped at 16:47. Stupidly topped up 2 more times because I was getting desperate.
You only ever need about 12 - 18 credits to finish the job. But they only come in 100s at the cost of $25. Very clever.
AVOID!!!
its a scam. Ive wanted to make an simple explenation video of not more then a minute with very simple images. I paid 20 dollar and then it said i needed to pay extra because the credits were out. I allready find it strange because it was such an simple video but because I already spent 20 I thought I spent 25 more so I at least have a video. Then it said my credits were out again and I needed to buy more. So i paid 45 dollar and still have no video!! also they don't have a customer service or any way to reach out. So please don't waste youre money!!!!!!!
Promising potential but seems like a theft scheme. They are always asking me to add credit when I have literally purchased an annual subscription of 1,200 USD. I feel like there was no value for my money, therefore, I was not happy about it. I would advise them to focus on making services better than rushing to turning into a pick-the-pocket business whose value of the product is not worth the money charged.
I paid 177€ for a plan and the credits disappeared without generating even one video. I have 0 downloads and my storage is empty. Support refuses to refund me. This is a theft. BEWARE.
Very poor experience.
The platform generated outputs I did not request and repeatedly failed to produce usable videos, yet still consumed my credits. This effectively made the service unusable while still charging for it.
What’s more concerning is how this is handled. Support is fully automated and incapable of addressing anything beyond repeating policy statements. There is no real escalation path, no human review, and no accountability when the system fails.
The “no refund after usage” policy is applied blindly, even when the usage results from system errors or incorrect outputs. That is not a fair or reasonable standard.
If you are considering this platform, be aware:
* You may be charged for outputs you didn’t ask for
* Failed generations can still consume credits
* There is no effective support if something goes wrong
Overall, this is not a reliable service, and the lack of proper support makes the situation worse.
great response and customer service. they actually give af
I am canceling my subscription immediately. This platform isn’t a creative tool; it’s a credit-draining machine designed to punish users for basic tasks. If you value your time, money, or sanity, stay far away.
The "Credit Trap" is a Scam
The way this company handles credits is predatory. I generated a 15-second clip and simply wanted to loop it. Instead of letting me use the footage I already paid for, the "AI" tried to charge me a massive amount of credits to "re-generate" a longer version. It treats every basic edit—like a loop or a slight timing change—as a brand-new, expensive generation. It’s a total bait-and-switch: they sell you on "unlimited exports," but then wall off the actual creation process behind a paywall that charges you for every glitch and every second of footage.
The UI is Absolute Garbage
It is blindingly obvious that no one at this company actually tested the interface with real creators. The UI is a disaster. It’s clunky, counter-intuitive, and hides manual editing tools to force you into using the "Command Box." Why? Because using commands burns more credits. It’s not a feature; it’s a toll booth. Navigating the timeline is a chore, and finding your previous work is a scavenger hunt. It feels like a beta product from 2010, not a modern AI platform.
Technical Failures and Glitches
The actual quality of the output is bottom-tier. Every video I’ve generated has "jumps," stutters, or flickering at the loop points. When you try to use their "magic" commands to fix these AI-generated errors, the system just burns more of your credits and usually returns another glitchy result. I shouldn't have to take a file I paid for into free software like iMovie just to make a clean loop because the expensive "AI" platform I’m paying for can’t handle a simple frame transition.
Conclusion: Pay-to-Fail
InVideo AI is built on a "pay-to-fail" model. They promise a fast, futuristic co-pilot but deliver a buggy, expensive headache. You end up spending more time fighting the interface and monitoring your credit balance than actually making content. I’m done being charged for the privilege of troubleshooting their broken software. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
Quick resolution; able to procure documents and utilize multiple keys seamlessly.
This company is so shady. Started with $60 service. Literally went up to $100 no warning. When my subscription renewed it gave me 390 credits in 5 days took everything left me with 65 credits. Their engineer looked it up and saw I only used 55 credits. Blamed me saying I must have used them. Mind you've I done hundreds of videos with them. Really. All I wanted were my credits back no refund, no credits. Shady!!!!
I feel absolutely scammed. I signed up to create content, and the system consumed 172 credits (my entire monthly budget) for two 1-minute videos that didn't even finish generating! One simple prompt about 'Ancient Greece' cost me 100 credits because the app automatically selects expensive iStock clips without clear warning. Support is non-existent – you only get trapped in a loop with a useless bot that refuses to refund credits even for failed renders. This is not a creative tool; it’s a credit-draining trap for new users. Do not waste your money
This is one of the most deceptive platforms I’ve ever used.
I paid for the Plus plan expecting a functional service. Instead, I got a low-quality video full of errors. When I tried to fix it, I was blocked and told to buy more credits—meaning I had to pay AGAIN just to finish ONE video.
So the reality is:
You pay → you get poor results → you’re forced to pay again.
This is not a real subscription. It’s a trap designed to squeeze more money out of users.
The AI itself is unreliable, the output is sloppy, and the whole system feels intentionally built to limit you unless you keep paying.
Honestly, this feels like a scam in disguise.
Avoid this platform unless you’re ready to keep paying for basic features that should already be included
Good enough graphics but the entire experience isn't there -- I can create a more dynamic experience in Notebook LM though it doesn't have the graphic experience, but this platform cost me $225 to make a 10 minute video and the narration was so dry I fell asleep watching my own video - I feel it is highly over priced and there was no way to try before you buy - I threw money at it and had to keep throwing money at it to finish a project - very disappointed
