Be aware of infinite accumulative deductibles!!!!

I was a quite satisfied customer at Aimo Share until I returned the car at the end of the rental period and received an invoice of 50.000 Sek due to three minor scratches. Aimo claims three incidents and thus three separate deductibles adding up to 50.000sek!!! Extremely poorly handled by Aimo customer care who clearly is not looking for retention in their customer base.

An all-round awful service. Volvo OnDemand is so much better

I've used Aimo Subscription on and off for the last 12 months. Whenever renting with them, there are always issues. I've encountered:
1) A car with a totally broken-off wing-mirror (literally hanging off) that somehow was signed-off as being fine to rent out.
2) Almost every single car you ever rent has a damaged windscreen with a huge crack.
3) Their cars are always disgustingly unclean - like, filthy disgusting. I've had various issues with this, it is always more likely than less likely. Customer support claim that cars are routinely cleaned but this is simply not true.
4) Their cars are never fully charged. Going on a trip and picking up an electric car? Expect to pick up your car with anything from 10-50% battery. I picked-up a car recently and immediately had to sit and charge (at my expense) for an hour before I could use it for the trip I had planned. Bear in mind: all they guarantee is that the car has enough charge for 60km. For a Tesla, that is literally picking up your rental car with 10% of battery.
5) Their customer support is woeful. Really, really woeful. Sometimes (if you're lucky) they respond weeks later, sometimes they just never bother to respond at all. I sent them a simple query on included KM for an upcoming trip on 18 June. I sent a chase email on 23 June. Someone has just (yes, *just*) responded to that email today - 12 July, almost a month later. This happens almost every time you send them a support query.

Honestly, do yourself a favour and if you ever need to rent a car - use Volvo On Demand. Their cars are always spotlessly clean, brand new, fully charged, and their customer support responds within minutes. It might be slightly more expensive, but I absolutely assure you it's worth every extra kroner.

EV was uncharged and Aimo Share refused refund

I rented a Volkswagen ID.4 through Aimo Share for a daytrip with my daughters to visit friends, a couple of hours drive. When I came to pick up the car it was not close to fully charged (only 90 km charge). Since this wouldnt get me close to our destination and we were already late, at this point I tried to get in contact with Aimo customer support for a replacement car. Unable to reach Aimos telephone support after 10 minutes waiting in line, I canceled the booking and rented a car through a competing service.

Aimo charged me 10hrs30 minutes and when reaching out to their customer support the day after I was informed their policy is that if the car isnt sufficiently charged then customers should wait and charge the car as needed. No refunds are issued unless the initial charge is below 60 kilometers.

Suffice to say, this was a terrible experience that led to us being an hour late to our appointment, additional costs from having to rent another car on short notice, and no refund from Aimo so double rental fees. This is the last time I try Aimo until they change their customer-hostile EV policy and make sure their EVs are fully charged and driveable at the start of the rental period.

Worst experience ever!!!!

Worst experience ever!!!!
We booked a car on 3rd of May to be picked up on 15 of June .. so 6 weeks in advance
The price was 2200 SEK for 6 days
Then on the day of the pickup they change the price of the booking to be 3200 SEK !!!!!
and then less than an hour to pickup the car, they cancel the whole reservation saying there is no car available!!!!!!!
How the hell it's not available when it was reserved 6 weeks in advance????
Now our vacation plans is destroyed!! How are we going to find a car now just before our travel!!!!!
So bad and disgusting customer service!! They put a phone number and there is no way to be able to speak to someone... All the options give the same answer at the end which is send an email

Worst experience ever!! Never use this service.

AimoShare is a scam

For the first time ever, I booked a trip with Aimoshare. I started at 17:10 and returned the car at 18:05, so I had the car for 55 minutes, but in the receipt I was charged for 66 minutes. Also, I had 240 SEK in credit, but they only applied 196 SEK to my trip and the rest of my credit were gone!
I tried to contact them but they don't answer telephone calls and want you to email, so I emailed them but haven't received any reply after a week,

Good idea, Execution can be improved.

Love the possibility to pick up in one location and drop off in another. However there are some hopefully teething problems that need to be fixed.

-the fact that users pay for charging and have to return the car with at least 25km battery. This means when I pick up a car it will always be almost empty battery (afterall who wants to charge more than they have to)

-If I am renting for say 2 hours I do not want to spend the first 30 minutes charging because the car I picked up was not charged.

-It should be possible to calculate the electricity cost and just add it to the hourly rental.

-Charging process had to use a different app promoted throughout the aimo car that took a 600 kr deposit and was impossible to see how many kwh it charged as it was pay by the minute.
