Very disappointing experience.

Very disappointing experience.
I followed all instructions and called in advance as required. When I arrived to collect my car at Heathrow on 07/04/2026, no driver was there. Despite several phone calls and promises that the driver was on the way, I waited over an hour for my vehicle.
As a result, I missed my transport connection and had to buy new bus tickets (£74.44) and Fast Track security (£36.00), as well as pay additional parking charges.
I have sent multiple complaints but received no meaningful response.
Poor service and poor customer support.

SHOCKINGLY BAD

SHOCKINGLY BAD, DO NOT USE
Meet and greet? Yes, from the exit barrier of the short stay car park! We were told to ring 45 minutes before we got to the airport (in my experience with other companies it’s normally 15 minutes). On arrival we had to wait about 30 minutes before anyone arrived to take our car(after numerous phone calls) which meant we were late for checking in, plus we had to pay extra for the car ‘exit ticket’ as they took so long to arrive. On our return we rang from luggage reclaim and were told it would be 45 minutes. We dutifully returned to the exit barrier at the short stay car park and waited, and waited - for an hour and a quarter. This followed numerous phone calls and numerous excuses. When it did arrive there was a discarded food wrapper on the floor and the tyres and car were splattered with mud
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Very poor experience with this company

Very poor experience with this company. After booking we were sent an email with instructions of how to proceed on the day of departure. As instructed we tried to call 45 minutes before arriving at airport - it took numerous attempts before they even answered. We were then told to wait any short stay carpark for them to collect the car, we did this in the early hours of the morning , they did not turn up on time which made us quite late for check in and we had to walk(in the rain) from carpark to the terminal. Hardly a meet and greet service. On arrival back in UK the service was equally as bad and we waited 75 minutes to return the car. Their prices may be competitive but the service is atrocious. When looking at the price we had not considered that we would have to pay the two tickets for short stay carpark which added almost £20 to the total cost. I would not recommend using this company , in fact I would say avoid at all costs.

Whatever you do DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…

Whatever you do DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY The service is beyond acceptable. They hardly run a meet & greet service - you park up in the short stay and wait for them, then you have to walk to the terminal which was some distance away. I expected us to be met and picked up at the airport drop off zone but how wrong I was. We arrived in the early hours of the morning having called them in plenty of time on our journey, only to be left waiting in the car park for 40 minutes and getting into the airport with not much time to spare for our flight which was extremely stressful. We were lied to in terms of how long a driver would be and then either they hung up when we rang or gave us misleading information when we eventually spoke to someone- most of the time the phone would just ring out.. Because they took so long we also had to pay an increased car parking fee at the short stay car park! No apology when the driver pulled up. The return was even more horrendous we called as we picked up our cases and we’re told it would be 45 minutes before a driver would meet us at the short stay, which I was furious about. We returned to where we left the car and waited and waited. One of their drivers arrived to pick up a car and told me the place they park their cars is 45 mins away! He said the driver would be a further 10 mins and then, following still no signs I rang again and was told it would be 20 mins. Eventually the car was returned after 1 hour and 20 mins. It had been driven over 40 miles and was covered in mud. To return from holiday, have the stress of airline travel and then be delayed from just getting home is absolutely disgraceful. Please do not consider using this company under any circumstances or you will regret it. Find a more reputable company who properly offer meet and greet. It may be a bit more expensive but believe me it’s worth every penny!

AVOID this organisation

AVOID this organisation: 1. They arrived late to pick up the car, despite repeated assurances they would be there in XX mins 2. They answer their phone very irregularly and, despite the instruction to do so, you can’t leave a voicemail message, 3. Incredibly rude when we tried to gain their confirmation about when they would pick car up, 4. On arrival back to Heathrow, they took over 45 mins to bring car back.
Car had additional 18 miles on clock which can be explained by their need to move car to different places, BUT I imagine parking space they used is not that secure.
MAIN REASON FOR RATING though, is that someonelse’s key was left in the boot of my car, along with their name, car reg and mobile phone number. Shockingly poor.

Don't believe the 4.5 star reviews on this site, look up the reviews elsewhere like trustpilot

Don't use. If you look at all the services they suggest, miraculously they all have 4.5 star reviews. This is bullshit. Look at Trustpilot reviews for the actual companies not the reviews on the broker site. They are all max 1 & 2 stars. This broker does not insist on any form of service standard like ParkMark. So they are simply a broker for all sorts of 1 star parking companies. Helping shit companies scam the public, they are as bad as the companies they represent.

Dashcam disconnected

I’m really disappointed with the service we received. When we collected our car, we discovered that our dashcam had been disconnected. This was extremely concerning, as the whole point of leaving a dashcam running is to have peace of mind about how the vehicle is handled while it’s out of our sight.

When we raised this with staff, the only response we got was “don’t know.” No explanation, no apology, no attempt to investigate what happened. For a company that handles customers’ vehicles, this lack of accountability is unacceptable.

We expected a basic level of transparency and professionalism, and unfortunately that wasn’t delivered. The parking itself may have been convenient, but the experience has left us with serious doubts about how our car was treated while in their care.

Would not use again based on this experience.

Petrol stolen and impossible to reach on the phone

The phone was not answered when we returned from holiday and wanted to pick up our car. On return we found that our petrol tank had been emptied, there were various bits of rubbish left in our car and the two one pound coins that had been in the car had been taken. Equally when we handed over the car it was difficult to get someone to answer the phone. Not using this company again.

Scam artists

Scan artists. Original payment was fine. However, despite the booking being submitted correctly, they added the wrong return date. On drop off, I told them this. I also emailed their head office

On pickup, they refused to bring the car unless an additional twenty pounds wddas paid. We argued some over this. Eventually I paid, at which point they hung up and refused to deliver the car.

I'm still calling repeatedly, but right now they're holding my car hostage after a 17 hour flight. I'm unsure as to whether I'll get my car at all.

Unprofessional car parking service, unauthorised use of car and theft

I recently made a booking for Heathrow Terminal 2 airport parking through compareairportparkingextras.co.uk (a.k.a. airportparkingextras.co.uk) and I subsequently collected my car from level 4 of Terminal 2 at the end of my trip through a company called Green Oaks Park and Ride.
I was very disappointed to see evidence of unauthorised use of my car.
- My personal belongings were taken out of storage compartments and dumped at various places.
- Half eaten chocolate bar was left on the back seat.
- Unrecognised charging cable was left in front of the front passenger seat and my charging cable was pulled out.
- The driver seat was soaking wet including the cushion resulting in wetness in my clothes on my return home.
- About £10 worth of £1 coins were taken from the central storage compartment.
- The driver who handed over the car key and the terminal parking ticket to me wasn't interested to see my car collection receipt and just disappeared quickly.
The e-mail address supplied on the car collection receipt also does not work, as my e-mail to them got bounced back by the system. This increased my suspicion on these companies.
I wrote an e-mail to Compare Airport Parking Extras Ltd and asked for a compensation. All I received was an apology for inconvenience. According to their terms and conditions, it is my responsibility for my belongings. So, their terms and conditions protect their business and allow their third party service providers to help themselves to take any of our belongings. It is a clear business malpractice.
Anyone looking to find a parking service should avoid the two companies mentioned above and go to other more reputable businesses.

Terrible Meet and Greet service with little communication

Easy drop off with their Meet and Greet service at Heathrow Terminal 5. TERRIBLE wait for our car on our return for over an hour after the initial call to them to tell them we had landed/collected luggage as requested. I then had to call the office a further 4 times to find out what was happening - when was our car being delivered, why the delay, IF our car had been delivered, why it was left unlocked (the key was left on the front tyre). With all the messing around and having to wait and then call to find out what was going on, we subsequently missed the 10 minute time limit on the parking ticket and had to pay again to leave the car park. I appreciate that there was a staffing issue that day but some communication would have been nice. I have emailed a complaint but that too has been ignored. AVOID!

Phoned 20-30 minutes before arriving at Terminal 5 as requested. They didn't answer the phone so left a message. Rang when I got to the Meet and Greet area and they hadn't picked up the message so ended up having to wait another 20-30 minutes which apparently was my fault!! Then I had to pay for the parking ticket which was now £11.50. This, incidentally, isn't highlighted in their terms and conditions. Casually mentioned right at the bottom. So actually their quote isn't competitive with other Meet and Greet operators. This is the worst Meet and Greet service I've used as they don't have a desk or agent at the Meet and Greet area. My advice avoid at all costs.

AVOID

Had to wait 2 hours for my car to be returned by the Super Saver driver! I was first told that the driver would arrive in 15 minutes. 40 minutes later, I called again to check where the driver was and was then told that my car was stored at a wrong place due to their mistake, so it requires another hour for the driver to send my car to airport. Had to wait 2 hours in the cold after a long overnight flight! I paid more for the Meet&Greet service as it supposed to be quicker and easier than off-site parking, but didn’t get what I paid for. Airportparkingextras doesn’t have customer service at all. No reply to any emails sent to them apart from auto acknowledgement.

A very good price for meet and greet compared to other providers. Bear in mind you still have to pay the £7.50 each time the car is parked if you are going to the Heathrow T3 Short Stay like us. Easy to contact. A delay of 20-30 mins at each collection/drop off point, but they kept us updated via telephone.

Lack of response when cancelling required!

Had to cancel parking at Bristol. They kept sending me emails with links that didn’t work. Finally contacted company parking with directly and they did not know about cancellation. They cancelled for me but still no response from airport parking extras and no sign of a refund. Steer clear of using this company is my suggestion after 3 weeks of frustration and now out of pocket!

This company was via compare.com

This company was via compare.com. This company should never be trading. They don’t deserve the 1 star as well.
My vehicle was damaged and my dash car, front was stolen and ready dash cam was disconnected.
They are a fraud company and should be stripped of trading out of any airport.

Don't deserve 1 star

Disgraceful company who have no right to the 1 star I had to give them.
From the onset, the person collecting my car was rude, surly and spent the whole time on their phone. I was told I had to pay the parking fee before they would take the car (which I was not made aware of prior to arrival, also happened on return so an additional £15 to the fee paid).
On return I tried to contact the company on touchdown (22:45) but could not get an answer and left a text message and so went with the original plan to call when we had received our luggage. I called again at 23:30 but could not get through, I tried a few more times until I eventually got through at 23:45 and was told my car would be with me in 30 minutes (advertised as 10 minutes from calling to car arrival). I should point out that my wife was in a wheelchair and we had been travelling for many hours. At 00:26 I called again, several times, but could not get an answer, they clearly had my number logged. My wife then used her phone and got through and was told my car would be there in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later she called again and now they were not answering my wife's phone nor my phone. My daughter in law then called and very pleasantly asked about "her car" but when she said the reg number the phone was put down on her. Eventually at approx 01:15 the car arrived. 2 and a half hours I initially made contact.
