Dear Elaine Seviour, I find your comment that I am clearly ill and am blaming innocent parties quite astonishing. I did visit A&E and they have a report on my NHS records that I was poisoned by carbon monoxide poisoning the said evening of the 11th August 2026. I could not have made this up as I did travel with my friend in Clive Salter’s taxi that evening from Heathrow to the Taunton area. The journey from there to Heathrow was very good but was a different car and driver. I was, as also my friend who had booked the taxi return trip, almost instantly aware of diesel fumes in the cab on the return journey for over 3 hours. I have recovered luckily but would not have wasted my time to visit the Musgrove Hospital if I had no reason to do so. This visit very early in the morning did show that I had been exposed to carbon monoxide poisoning. I was only concerned for the driver who had been exposed for over 6 hours and therefore any other customers after this, as it is illegal to use a hired vehicle that has such a fault. Of course the firm’s vehicles are MOT’d as required, but a fault like this can happen anytime during the year between MOTs. It was the reaction that I received from Clive the owner that made me give this review as he denied that there was any fault whatsoever. This is not a responsible reaction with such a business that serves the public. It doesn’t matter what type of car it was… it was dark at the pick up and journey!! I was not after compensation only to warn the public and check that the driver was ok.

Clive provides an exceptional local service....his cars are immaculate, safe and love his promptness. Don't know what Julie Baldwin is on about.... She is obviously ill but blaming other innocent parties doesn't help. She can't even get the right car and no exhaust problems ....false statements and no solid proof... if you are worried by these false claims all cars are MOTed regularly and are fitted with CO2 regulators...and I have never been poisoned in the hundreds of miles I have travelled with this company...happy travels to you all..
