Worst service provider they are scammer first I connect on call vith advisor and requested for cancellation of my home broadband on 15th Dec ....after several day there is no response from there end after that I got text notification that your request has been closed...but there was no any resolution after that I got a bill for overdue amount of 1146 rs hence I call them back an discussed with senior adviser where he promised that the charges will be waived off an your service will bach in 4 hours....then I waited for the whole day to get the service back but the service remains restricted after that next day I called for a update where the team stated that you need to pay the bill to get the service back after that I started I already discussed about that previously an they given me assurity that service will back an all charges will be waived off then they started arguing and threatening and the agent given bad words and hang up the call
I have all the proofs and evidence now I will take this to ombudsman and legal advice further....

Respected Sir/Madam,
I am an Airtel customer. I am writing this letter to formally register a complaint regarding the behavior of one of your customer care executives.
Recently, I contacted Airtel Customer Care to inquire about the OTT app benefits available in my plan. The call was attended by a customer care executive named Darshini. When I politely asked for details about the OTT offers, she responded in a disrespectful manner.
I requested her again to explain the OTT scheme. However, she insisted that she would provide the information only if I shared my email ID. Unfortunately, I am not well educated and I do not remember my email ID. I clearly informed her about this. I also provided my Airtel Black plan number, my registered mobile number, my name (Ranjith Kumar), and even my residential address for verification. Despite giving all these details, she refused to provide the information and disconnected the call.
As a loyal Airtel customer, this experience was very disappointing and hurtful. We approach customer care for support and guidance. Instead of helping us properly, such behavior discourages customers and may force us to consider switching to another network.
I kindly request you to take appropriate action and ensure that customer care executives speak respectfully and assist customers properly in the future.

For a self proclaimed 5g network i get 4g speeds only. And they make it a point to advertise their unlimited 5g packs everytime you go to recharge. I tried it once and i can say that was a mistake , a pure waste of money . Tried reporting it in their app. After a few days the complaint will be "resolved" but my network dosent improve. They also charge more than other networks for similar plans. Got one word to sum airtel up : scam

I recharged roming plan of Rs 1198 for 10 days description Details : 3GB, 200mins IC+OG (IN+Local), 20
SMS (USA, Europe, Gulf, Asia, Africa & more).I get sms that my plan is active but I can’t make a call or use data then I call to the customer service of Airtel regarding my plans then what they said I’m not eligible to use this plan because I don’t have monthly activation package of 349.
So they suggest me if I want to active my plan I need to recharge monthly activation of Rs 199 or 349.
So my question what’s is meaning of Roaming? If I need to recharge my national monthly plan? Why there’s no description in plans before recharge that need to be have monthly recharge then only roaming plans will work?
What’s the benefits for international traveller?
Also toll free calling number is not free from International calling however you claim it’s free from all countries.

Very bad network, wasting of money recharging unlimitted 5g. Where ever you go the network shows full 5g and consuming 4g.. If we call regarding the customer care executive take a complaint and give the conplaint register number again and again.. 🤣🤣

On Sunday, 14 December, an Airtel sales representative named Mirzas
Cattery contacted me and assured me that the
Wi-Fi connection would be installed the same day between 4–5 PM. Due
to KYC-related issues, he was unable to proceed and requested to
reschedule the installation for Monday, 15 December at 8 AM. I clearly
informed him that I currently had no internet connection because of
issues with Hathway, and that my previous service had already been
discontinued.
On Monday, Mirzas arrived late at 9 AM and continued to face KYC setup
issues. After seeking help from his colleagues, the KYC was eventually
completed and the installation team (Hari’s team) was called. The
router was replaced twice, yet the internet connection was still not
activated even after two hours and they took all devices back. I later
received a call requesting an OTP to complete activation, but I did
not share it since the connection had not been restored.(But I noticed
the ticket closed with successful)
From that point onward, despite multiple follow-ups, Mirzas assured me
that the issue would be resolved by 5 PM, but there was no response or
resolution. On 16 December, I attempted to contact him several times
via phone and WhatsApp, but he did not respond to any calls or
messages.
I am extremely disappointed with the service for the following reasons:
- The Wi-Fi request shows as closed, despite the router and connection
not being functional.
- When I contacted customer care, a ticket was raised on 17 December.
However, on 18 December, an agent named Siva called me and closed the
ticket without any prior notice, while also speaking in an aggressive
tone.
- In the meantime, Hathway has restored my connection, and I have paid
for an additional month of service.
Given the poor experience and lack of resolution, I would like to
cancel the subscription and request a full refund at the earliest. I
request you to please understand the situation and process the refund
promptly.

Last 15 days i am facing the internet issue. No one listening.
Yesterday i have complaint regarding the connection disconnected, 10 calls received.
Automatic Activation of wifi for temple does not happen on recjarge.
Airtel recharge was done on 6th feb at 6.30 pm on wifi connection no. 093116795262 and still not activated. As the recharge is being done by temple member from other no. We are unable to lodge complaint. Our calls do not get resolved. Jio activation happens automatically within couple of minutes of recharge. Airtel is a real pain as the above no. Is related with wifi for cctv in a temple. It happens every six months.
Unresolved broadband issue, poor support loop, refund requested
I prepaid for Airtel Xstream Fiber expecting reliable service, but the experience has been extremely frustrating.
For weeks, my broadband Wi-Fi has been unstable in daily usage, especially for family members. I raised multiple complaints, the latest being Service Request 11024661668, but the issue keeps getting stuck in a loop. Each time, the ticket is assigned to the same junior-level engineer who repeats basic troubleshooting and closes the request without fixing the root cause.
There is no proper escalation, no senior engineer involvement, and no accountability. While speed tests sometimes look fine, real-world usage is inconsistent and unreliable. I have spent a lot of time following up, but Airtel’s support has been careless and ineffective.
I also did not receive proper responses to my follow-up emails, which further reduced my confidence in the service. After paying upfront for six months, this level of service is unacceptable.
At this point, I have requested refund of the unused prepaid amount, as continuing with this connection no longer makes sense. I am already using another provider (Jio) elsewhere, which has proven to be far more stable without constant follow-ups.
This review is based on my genuine experience, and I hope Airtel takes customer issues and escalations more seriously in the future.
