I was using Airtel's Wi-Fi and TV…

I was using Airtel's Wi-Fi and TV connection.
I had discontinued both services since the end of October. I had also returned the Wi-Fi router and set-top box to Airtel. Despite discontinuing the services, I was still being billed. Even after repeatedly emailing them about this, they kept demanding that I pay the bill. I was constantly receiving calls from them saying that my Wi-Fi bill was pending and that I should pay it as soon as possible. This caused me a lot of mental distress, and finally, out of frustration, I paid all the money. Now they are harassing me for a new reason, claiming that I haven't returned the router and that I should return it. I told them that I had already returned the router to them, and I don't have any proof of it, nor did they provide me with any.

Consider how Airtel's service works:
A different person for getting a new connection.
A different person for installing the connection.
A different person for resolving issues.
A different person for bill payment, and yet another person for stopping the service. It seems there is absolutely no communication among them.
The customer care representatives have no idea what the problem is. They give answers according to their own understanding.
These executives are only interested in meeting their own targets; they don't care about anything else.

When you receive a call for payment recovery or any other issue, a different executive speaks to you every time, who knows nothing about your problem. You explain the entire problem to them, and they just say "yes, yes" as if they've been trained to do so, and assure you that it won't happen again.
Then, after some time, a new person calls you, and you have to explain everything again. This happens many times, but the problem never gets solved. That's the truth.

This company doesn't want to improve their services

This company doesn't want to improve their services and its only aim to earn money and fool the people. I recharge my number with only data pack because I already recharged my number two days ago but my data is not working even I recharge extra with 3gb /day for 40 rupees
And customer care is so good that you will tired by only press 1,press 2and then press 3 and so on ......

Since last 5 days we are facing…

Since last 5 days we are facing problems in wi fi connection and when i call to mr.pradeep and mr.parvez, they are not receiving the call and after calling 100 times they receive 1 time and informs us that they will raise the ticket and until now no any ticket is raised. We have not paid the money to stay without internet connection. I work from home i urgently need internet. If you cannot provide the internet please return back my money and i will install ACT fiber or JIO fiber. I am fed up with airtel now.Also i will port all my and family numbers from airtel to jio.

Unprofessional and persistent customer support failure

I am writing to formally register my strong dissatisfaction and complaint against Airtel for the continued failure to provide basic customer support and effective service resolution.

Despite contacting your customer care six (6) times, I have not received any meaningful assistance. Your customer care executives have repeatedly demonstrated gross inefficiency, provided false assurances, and failed to take any concrete or appropriate action. Most concerning is the fact that no complaint or service request was officially raised, despite explicit confirmations given to me during multiple calls.

This reflects a serious breakdown in Airtel’s customer support processes, complete lack of accountability, and unprofessional conduct by your representatives. Repeated promises of resolution were made, none of which were honored. Such behavior is unacceptable for a service provider of Airtel’s stature.

Due to this persistent negligence, poor service quality, and highly ineffective customer support, I am left with no option but to discontinue my association with Airtel. I am moving out of Airtel on an extremely negative note, solely because of your inability to resolve issues and provide even minimum customer service standards.

This email should be treated as:

A formal complaint against Airtel services

A record of misleading communication and inefficiency of Airtel executives

I expect this complaint to be acknowledged immediately and recorded appropriately.
Pathetic, Illogical and dumb customer support.

disappointed, same sim for 10+years

i have been using an airtel sim for over a decade now, same number, but for about a year or two now they have been persistantly calling to recharge even before the plan ends(msg too), its very disturbing. atleast wait for some days if i dont recharge after plan expire and call. but this is irritating. yesterday my plan expiresa and i cant recharge because of my bank problem, and then this mfs text me saying "incoming calls and OTPs will stop from today" WTF, atleast give some days, what if i was in an emergency, stranded or something. feels like changing sims but these mfs jio and airtel cartel culture so probably same shit.

Even one rating is very high. This co is shameless ,after complaint logging 3 days back ,I am informed that your problem with mbl service will be resolved by 11 th FEB 2026.
Hope it is not 2027.
I will port all my connections & also of the society to some other co ,if not resolved within 24 hrs.
I don't & will never recommend Airtel at Pashan, Pune.
