I would give 0 stars if I can

I would give 0 stars if I can. When things go right, there is nothing wrong with flighthub. But often, things go wrong... Flight changes, cancellations, will bring a massive hassle that is NOT worth the price savings.

My flight was changed by American Airlines, I found out only during my check in. Flight hub said they were never notified. I am stuck with a flight that did not work for me.

I spent 3 hours on the phone with multiple agents, being passed from 1 to another, on 1 phone call I was on the phone with 4 agents...

I was hung up on while being passed to a different agent 3 times... each call had a 35-45 min wait. That is what its like to deal with their customer service. I would save the hassle and pay the extra $50 to book directly with an airline.

READ THE REST OF THE REVIEWS ALSO BEFORE BOOKING. And articles posted by "BETTER BUSINESS Bureau" issuing "caution" when booking with Flighthub.

Terrible customer service!

I booked a ticket to China. Because of the pneumonia, I have to cancel my booking. The Hainan airline agreed that I can cancel without any fee. However, the Flighthub customer service said they got the information that the airline will charge the penalty fee. I called them twice and spent more than 2 hours. Also, I even asked Hainan airline talked to the Flighthub customer service. Still, she insisted on charging penalty fee. Until now, the customer service asked me to call them again after 48 hours.
So poor service!

Terrible Customer Service

There is no option for zero stars so I had to give a one star. I just received the worst customer service EVER today from 5 different agents at FlightHub. I have been on the phone with them for 8 hours and I am still waiting on confirmation of the change to my flight itinerary. After requesting to speak with a supervisor, I was informed that it takes anywhere from 48hrs - 72hrs to receive confirmation and yet, not one of the previous 5 agents bothered to inform me of this. I will NEVER do business with this company again. They are not only incompetent, but they also have the audacity to argue with their customers. Furthermore, each time they transfer you to another agent, you have to repeat your entire story all over again to the next person, and when they put you on hold, they never once ask permission to do so. The supervisor had the nerve to argue with me and tell me that her agents are well trained. When the supervisor is rude and incompetent, then no wonder the staff are too. Seriously!!! Take your business elsewhere folks.

I would never use flighthub

I would never use flighthub. We booked a flight to Paris and they booked Economy Class they did not inform us that it was economy light that does not include baggage. It is now going to cost us $202 more to check a piece of baggage which they should have told us it was economy light. They are a ripoff company. DO NOT i repeat DO NOT use

FlightHub cheated me and my wife and…

FlightHub (the web address airticketsdirect.com is automatically redirected to flighthub.com) cheated me and my wife and provided very poor customer service to us! Few minutes after buying two airplane tickets with return flights, I called FlightHub and verified with a FlightHub representative that the luggage allowance for each of us was 1 piece of 23kg check-in luggage plus 1 piece of 8kg and 1 piece of small carry-on luggage. We were allowed by the TAP airline to bring the luggage as stated above from our hometown to our vacation destination, however, on the way back home, we were told by the TAP airline (during the airport check-in) that our return tickets didn't include check-in luggage and we had to pay 95 Euros per piece (total of 190 Euros) to take our 23kg checked-in luggage back home. We felt/feel cheated by the FlightHub (the travel agency) for selling the return tickets without check-in luggage to us and not informing us about it (during my phone inquiry as described above). If we knew about it, we would never purchase these tickets! We contacted FlightHub (the seller of our tickets) for refund of the extra luggage fee charged to us by the TAP airline but the FlightHub representative Mr. Jet from the FlightHub's customer service center at Prince Edward Island (if this information provided by Mr. Jet is even true at all), told me that there is nothing he can do about it! After I asked Mr. Jet to be transferred to his supervisor, he placed me on hold and hanged-up on me after few minutes of waiting. This is the type of customer service that we received from FlightHub after being cheated by them during purchase of our tickets and completing our trip this month.

horrible customer service DON’T book with them

The customer service is horrible and they are out right rude. I had to check one about how rude he was I tried to speak to the manager and the guy wouldn’t let me he kept repeating what he was saying. I see why those folks shouldn’t be able to come to the U.S because all they do is scam and be rude. I wish I would of read these comments and I’m nervous because my flight is suppose to leave on Friday and I just hope everything goes to plan. I know one thing I have a great bank and if they scammed me they will go after them and I’ll get my money back. But I will never use them again.

They suckkkk

They suckkkk. They did not notify me that my flight was cancelled. I got a couple of e-mails from them stating that some "light changes had been made to my flight". After clicking on the e-mail, I was taken to a confirmation of my flight so I assumed no changes have been made. 3 days before my actual flight I get a call from the airline informing me that the flight has been cancelled and that I can either get a refund or choose another flight. When I asked them why they were informing me so last minute they said that they had told flighthub months in advance and that they never received a response from them which is why they were contacting me. Never again with these pieces of sh!t.

Is FlightHub a big SCAMMER?

My Dad passed away 12 days ago. It was unexpected, so I had to book a last-minute ticket to be able to travel to my Country of origin on time for the funerals.
I spent two hours trying to find a ticket while crying for my loss. Finally, I found a ticket with Flight Hub—even if the price was 1.5 times more than what I usually pay—which considering my situation I pirchased. But after checking I discovered the arrival time didn’t meet my needs, which was my mistake since I was booking my tickets through tears since I was emotionally distraught.

A larger problem was being charged approximately $600 more than advertised on the website, which wasn't my mistake.

I called to ask for a refund and a correction to the booking.
The agent on the phone helped me to change my arrival time, but I had to pay even more money and when I told him that I have already paid more than announced he said that was the insurance. I was told the price increased while I was calling him because “it's dynamic." And it happened twice within a few minutes, while booking with him, even if I told him that the price was still showing the same on their website; I can imagine it was not him who was doing it but instead, perhaps a combination of numbers in the system in front of him to trap people while calling. I hope It wasn’t a SCAM.

I also gave him the reason of my trip, but it didn't change anything. I ended up paying almost triple what I usually pay for the same destination. Fortunately I had a credit card to use. Unfortunately I am now in debt. I can also imagine an airline that endeavors to support its customers in their time of need, not one that takes advantage of them during times when they are most vulnerable.

When I arrived at the airport the day after, a very caring hostess was surprised that I had to pay that amount, especially in this situation and told me that Air Canada and Air Lufthansa, both have what they call "bereavement fair", which I learned was a significant discount when somebody has to travel for the funeral of a direct member of the family.
I called back Flight hub, but they refused to do anything about it -- I was asking for a partial refund-- telling me that I already used the ticket, and that they don't have any special program like the "bereavement fair".
I called Air Canada and Air Lufthansa, and they tried to help as much as possible, asking me to send an email because they’re not my direct seller so they didn't receive the money since they sell bundled tickets to other agencies and then the agencies deal with it.
So so far, I'm waiting for the answer from Air Canada and Lufthansa, and I'm paying my debt...
I wish I had known all of this previously. I would have called Air Canada’s reservation service directly. So far, I have always had a pretty good experience with them.
I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH FLIGHT HUB AGAIN!!!!

P.S.: if I could put negative stars, I would have done it...

FLIGHTHUB IS STAFFED WITH LIARS!

FLIGHTHUB IS STAFFED WITH LIARS!
Booked a flight to Europe using Flighthub website for the first time. It seemed like a decent deal. Two weeks later I am getting an itinerary update with the return flight change. I would have to leave a day early and wait for the connecting flight for 27 hrs, just 300 km away from where I live! Called Flight hub, requested flight change. They suggested another flight, which I was fine with and said I would be receiving a confirmation within 72 hrs. It's been seven days. numerous phone calls, including conversation with supervisors. Nothing has been done. They keep blaming the inaction on the airline. It is hard to believe that it would take so long for an airline to respond. Just like the others said, I wish I had read the reviews before booking. It's been a hard lesson for me to lean. Never before had I experience such terrible customer service,

Avoid these jacka$$e$$ like the plague.

Avoid these jacka$$e$$ like the plague. Why would the website list, as the top-of-the-list, cheapest flight for me, a flight departing a week after my chosen departure date? Unless, hear me out... they hope I don't notice and pick the flight, pay for it then have to change it to today, the day I actually want to leave. That way they can charge me ridiculously expensive cancellation fees. The website is misleading, the cancellation policy extortionist and the cancellation insurance options a ripoff. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to make your travel plans.

Scammers

, pls do not use this people to book your flight, they are scammers.
We booked a flight for our honeymoon to Europe, we missed our check in luggage by few minutes, KLM told us to travel with just our hand lugages, and leave our suitcases behind
we called flight hub agent to rebook the next available flight, they placed us on hold for 45mins, by the time an agent came on the phone, they told us there's an available flight the next day but the fare (the difference we have to pay) is not available 😮😮😮 and therefore we have to wait for 24 to 48hrs before they can book us on another flight. long story short, we hv spoken to like 10 agents, they hv given us the same excuse. It's being 4 days , no trip and they hv refuse to refund At least if not full but part of our money. Don't use them
Their review on goggle is pathetic.

Scam

Scam. Liars. I ordered four expensive plane tickets through this site, and when the charge went through, there was a separate EXTRA $42 charge on my card THAT IS EXPLAINED NOWHERE ON THE SITE. It wasn't until I got scared and went in search of reviews for FlightHub that I saw all the terrible reviews and realized I'd been had.

I would never have purchased through this site if I knew there was a charge to order tickets through them. What is the point of paying extra to save money?? I could have ordered direct from the airline itself for free!

I will never, ever purchase through this scam outfit again. And I can only hope that my plane tickets are real when I get to the gate on the day of my departure.

I have spoken to over six people now

I have spoken to over six people now. They are so rude with the hanging up when they realize they messed up, they charge hidden fees, misinform you and you will end up paying so much more than you think. They sell you connections that change on you and it ends up being cheaper to go directly with a airline because atleast what you pay for is what you get. Cannot trust them although they appear to be cheaper. So heartbroken I saved up only to book with them and get screwed.

I also booked a flight online for my two boys to fly from Houston to Calgary, and they sent me the itinerary with a wrong return date (8 days later than I had actually booked). When I finally got through to them after numerous attempts, they said there wasn't much they could do about it because the flight was already booked. The customer care representative told me to change it there would be penalties and rebooking would cost close to $1000!!! She then suggested I just use the tickets, ignore the return portion and buy two new one way tickets to return. This would only cost me just over $800. Unbelievable. I noticed many other complaints from customers who were given the wrong itinerary. I truly regret not researching them first on the internet. Had I done this, I would never have booked through them. 577 BBB negative complaints, and over 2000 negative complaints in online forums. Wow :(

Do NOT book with these Jokers!

Booked a ticket with them online. They send me a different itinerary...on purpose. I called them said thats not what I booked. They blamed me for it but I know what flight I DID book as I put it on my desktop (Screenshot). I called them immediately after they emailed me the itinerary and told them to change it to what I wanted. They said they can't and it would cost $700 to change a mistake they made. My peers who I met in Amsterdam got direct flights back to Canada for on par prices from these jokers. My flight back to Canada was from Amsterdam to Munich to London (for an overnight stay which I didn't request) to Canada the following day. Take a look on the map and see how I had to fly from Amsterdam to Munich before going to London. Totally back tracking. I didn't book that flight and no fool would. But they say I did because I'm sure they ran out of seats on the flight I DID book and then sent me an alternative and then pinned it on me that I booked THAT one originally. Scum bags. Never again. Fraudulent and sketchy is all I can say.
