Our worst experience so far was with…

Our worst experience so far was with Ajet Airlines. We were a group of twelve people, including an elderly, disabled woman and two five-year-old children. We were neither respected nor assisted. The cabin crew and airport staff were extremely unfriendly and rude.

Complaint Regarding Disrespectful and Discriminatory Treatment on AJet Flight

I would like to share my experience traveling with Ajet Airlines.
We were a group of 12 tourists flying from Tehran to Istanbul. Unfortunately, one of our companions was disabled. The airline staff treated us very poorly and did not cooperate with us at all. From the check-in officer to the flight attendants, their behavior was cold, unfriendly, and impolite. My sister had to pack and carry the weehlchair herself, it was really heavy!!!

They seated our disabled companion in row 8, and expected her to stand up from her wheelchair and move to a window seat by herself! This behavior was inhumane and shameful. She was also boarded and deboarded last, which was extremely difficult and exhausting given her condition and age.

We also had two small children with us. During the night flight, we asked for blankets, but they rudely said they didn’t have any — even though they provided blankets to their Turkish passengers.

We will never travel with this airline again, and I sincerely hope no one else has to experience such unacceptable and disrespectful treatment.

This airline really needs to shut down

This airline really needs to shut down. From the two times I’ve travelled in this. There has been severe delay to the point that I’ve missed my connecting flight twice. Poor service and staff language barrier. Have never in my life written a review for an airline but this had to be done.

I got a flight from Istanbul to Düsseldorf with Ajet. I was scared that This flight might Crash. Honestly I had never such a bad experience with any Other Turkish Airline like Ajet. The pilot flew in the air like it was a rocket for the first 5 Minutes. Worst Experince ever

No support, no service and no functional.

Have 2 flights. I didnt get any ticket for my first flight.
My check in failed more than 3 -4 times. No support, no chat, no answers, no help. Even the Feedback button just doesnt work. What is this!? I have no chance for any answer. My Mail does not get any answer.

Never take Ajet again. If I dont get any answer today, because my flight is this night, i will continue to rate you down.

A Chat support for quick help is necessary!!
Havent got this bad service for a long time. Sorry, I mean NO service.

Read all the reviews. Pleasantly surprised.

I’ve read a lot of the negative reviews however we ended up on A Jet from AYT after another airline let us (family of 5) down. All booked 12 hours before travel. Easy to book. Selected Flex fare as we had hold luggage and wanted to select our seats. Had to transit through SAW to get home.

Standard low cost check-in affair opening 2 hours before. Boarding process was good. Leg room was huge. Way more than EZY, TUI, Jet 2 and even BA. Both aircraft we travelled on were brand new A321NEOs and the staff were friendly. Both flights left on time.

Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars was the food and drink offering onboard and the cost of it too. €9 for a sandwich and €5 for a coffee.

Maybe we were just lucky, especially with the 1.25 hr connection in SAW but we were very pleasantly surprised and I wouldn’t avoid if we were in the same situation.

5 hours delay

5 hours delay. Yes there was a storm in Antalya but we landed at another airport to refuel. Another long delay. I am nervous to fly with this airliner again as I do not want to miss my connecting flight to Dubai

Do not record passenger logs correctly, huge health and safety concerns

I had booked a return flight from Stansted to Istanbul(18/10), I boarded my first flight arriving in Istanbul with no issues.
I enjoyed my holiday and then went to return to Stansted(23/10), I was refused check in as they stated I had not checked into my first flight to Istanbul.
I raised this and showed my boarding pass to confirm I had in fact checked in, they then stated I had not boarded the plane. I had no choice but to purchase another ticket and raise a complaint.
Their customer service is useless and still adamant that I did not get on the plane and will not complete an investigation.
Although I am frustrated I have lost money this is a bigger issue as they clearly have no record of me on the flight and god forbid the plane was to have crashed and I was missing no one would have been looking for me as the airline didn’t even know I was there.
Absolutely outrageous and do not recommend to anyone, avoid at all costs.

Staff Abuse and Unauthorised Charge at Istanbul Sabiha Airport

I had an extremely distressing experience with an AJet staff member at Istanbul Sabiha Gokce Airport.

During the process, the staff member charged my card without my authority. Despite showing him proof of payment for my pre-paid carry-on luggage, he refused to accept it, claiming it was not in their system, despite the fact that another staff member at the airport had already checked me in, approved my carry-on luggage and personal item size and weight, and issued my boarding pass, confirming that the payment was recorded.

The same person at the boarding gate verbally abused me through a string of assaults and intimidations, threatening to deny me boarding if I did not pay an additional €50. Out of distress and without other options, I handed over my card. He refused to give me a receipt. It has now come to my attention that he withdrew €100 from my card without my consent. The person was charging my card while simultaneously pointing to the colleague not to allow me boarding, and continued to shout at me not to protest and if I say one more word he would not let me board. When I demanded the receipt he said ‘no receipt’.

This is ILLEGAL, these people should be prosecuted for criminal charges what they are doing to passengers! The way I was treated is beyond horrendous, someone stealing your money right in front of your eyes, and blackmailing you if you don’t hand in your card you are not flying. When I asked for the manager he said he was the one, no other people can be called!

I reported the fraudulent transaction and abusive behaviour, and will be pursuing this further legally if they don't respond and refund the unauthorised charges.

Very baeine katasropfe

Very bad experience with this carrier, don't fly with them, even if it's a 10 euro ticket. In our ticket we had the right to carry-on luggage and personal luggage, which is why we booked this flight, but they didn't give us carry-on luggage with us, they said there was no room, which I don't understand because every passenger had the right to that. In any case, the staff at the check-in counter was rude. I just know that I will never travel with them again. When we got on the plane, the people who got on with carry-on luggage had nowhere to put it, very poor organization.

When we were waiting to board

When we were waiting to board. A stewardess was walking through the crowd and coming up to people asking for their boarding pass and saying they needed to pay for their luggage to be checked in. This happend to a lot of people on our flight. We were taken to the front and had to pay. They also wanted to make people pay for their luggage because it was too big, even though it fit in the stand they have. After this we where told the flight was delayed an hour. Never booking here again

No Free Water on a 3.5-Hour Flight

We flew with two children from Istanbul to Stockholm — a 3.5-hour flight. When I asked the flight attendant for some water, they said it wasn’t free and had to be bought, which really surprised me. When I tried to pay, they said contactless payment wasn’t working and I could only use a physical card. Unfortunately, I didn’t have one with me, only Apple Pay, so in the end, we didn’t get any water at all.

I find this unacceptable. There should be free drinking water available for all passengers on board. Sadly, it feels like tourists are often seen just as wallets full of money.

Alert for travelers

Alert for travelers: I bought a round-trip ticket (PNR 3C31FB). After missing my outbound flight due to circumstances beyond my control, AJet canceled my return automatically and offered no fair solution. This policy is not made clear when booking — it feels like a new way to take customers’ money. Be cautious.
I lost 400 $ by booking return flight with them, avoid this airline .

Avoid at all costs

Terrible experienced flying with them. Flight was delayed almost 3 hours from Ams to Saw. Very smart move. Because if it would have been 3 hours delay, they have to compensate passengers.And more than 1 hour delay on return flight. No announcement. Gate changed. When we asked, they claimed the computer system was not working. Broke 2 luggages. First from Ams to Saw. We reported after we left the airport because we only saw the damages in the taxi. They said they couldn't do anything because we have left the airport. Broke 2nd luggage from SAW to Ams. It's been 3 months since we reported the damages at Ams Airport. We were asked for all kinds of documentation, from boarding pass, passport copy, invoice of the luggage, estimated repair cost, luggage tags, photos, damage report again, and when we have submitted all these requests..guess what? It's not acceptable because it is not from their authorised repair shop. So we asked for the right authorised shop...guess what again? you guess it right, they can't provide one. We are still waiting for response and it's been more than 3 months. If you think this is a terrible experience then don't fly with them. With comparable ticket price, you can fly with other better airlines.

A new customer deception technique invented by AJET

I had a connecting flight between October 22nd and 23rd. My ticket was invalidated during the layover, and 15 kilos of luggage was written off against me. So, I had to pay approximately 1500 TL for luggage before boarding the plane to my final destination. The staff was completely unhelpful. They were like robots, devoid of any spirit or courtesy. I was deeply disappointed. It would be foolish for me to buy another Ajet ticket.

The worst airlines I have ever…

The worst airlines I have ever experienced, Ajet charged me 50 Euros for my hand luggage as it apparently was over weight and once it went on the plane they refused me entry on the plane. I lost my luggage despite assurance from the staff my luggage would be taken off. In the end my luggage has gone missing and the staff totally failed to help me and now they are saying they will not compensate me. A total bad experience with unqualified staff. I will never recommend this airline and to be fair it is not even worth 1 star.

The ground staff are the rudest people

The ground staff are the rudest people. Whilst it could be how they communicate in English (and there is very limited English) their client service is all the time awful. When you complain about it they claim the incident never happened. If I could avoid flying with them I would.
