Anjelica the angel!

My husband is an EU citizen, we immigrated to the U.K. and I had a 6 month spousal visa. During my 6 month visa I found a wonderful job here in the U.K. I had been working for the company for almost 3 months when I received a call from the recruitment agency who initially recruited me.

They said I had to stop working immediately because my spousal visa had expired. I explained to them that under EU law I am still entitled to live and work in the U.K. after my visa expires because my husband is my sponsor. I also gave them my letter stating that I had applied for my residency card but it had not arrived yet. They insisted that I may not work without a valid visa or U.K. residency card.

There was nothing the company could do because I was still legally employed through the recruitment agency for my 3 month trial period. Sadly, I had to leave the company.

I was extremely upset, angry and so frustrated because I knew my rights as the spouse of an EU citizen. I telephoned every U.K. government Immigration helpline, the U.K. border patrol, joined every EU Facebook page to try and get someone to clarify my right to continuing working in the U.K. many people confirmed what I knew was correct but I needed to get this in writing to prove to the following to the recruitment agency.

A friend recommended AJ Immigration Services. I spoke with Anjelica who understood my situation immediately, She confirmed that by EU Law I am entitled to work in the U.K. after my spousal visa had expired as long as I am living with my husband and he is my sponsor. She in turn wrote a letter to the Recruitment agency and within a few days it was all sorted and the company welcomed me back. I honestly don’t know what I would have done if it was not for Anjelica, I am internally grateful to her!

I can honestly say that I highly recommended AJ Immigration Service. I was super impressed!

Excellent service, highly recommended.

Approached AJ Immigration for an application for British Citizenship. An excellent service, explained the situation very clearly and patiently worked through the application for us. The process itself was painfully slow, but we all stuck with it. AJ Immigration always helped up chase up the Home Office on outstanding matters.

Finally, all our joint efforts resulted in a successful application and one very happy (though exhausted) customer.

Anjelica so helpful was a total…

Anjelica so helpful was a total wonderful experience. Had no idea how to apply for my permanent visa back in 2016 after I married a English man here. I am from the USA and knew nothing about where to start. She was so friendly and efficent. When I had to reapply in 2018 she was fantastic once again. I would highly recommend her.
