Scammers and scammer website.
First I wanted to purchase a weightlifting event online which redirected me directly to a secure pay website. Charge was only 2 euro so no big deal I went ahead. Upon paying I was redirected to their website, which has nothing to do with weightlifting in first place.
I spoke with support person, because I wasn't allowed to cancel my account from their website (clicking on the hyperlink to cancel account, didn't even trigger). After I spoke with support he re-assured me that he initiate the "process" to cancel my account?! How silly is that? Process to cancel account? I noticed that my account will be cancelled after a specific date, but the point was that before that cancellation date automatically their website would have billed me 40$ to "add" funds to my wallet, due to some top off policy they have. I spoke with the support guy and he re-assured me since "process" of cancellation has started I won't be billed and I left it like that. Afterwards I was contacted by this Emily person from "escalation support" re-assuring me my account will be cancelled on time but guess what, I got notification from my revolut app. that I was about to be charged 40$ and that it looked suspicious (asking me to confirm payment or cancel my cart). They reply with automated messages in my opinion and this is total fraud, stay away.
