My chiffonaire from AKD Furniture was delivered two weeks ago more than pleased with the quality of the furniture. Would highly recommend AKD, a long wait for goods to arrive but well worth the wait well done AKD furniture.

Our beautiful new bedroom furniture came this week, 2 wardrobes, 2 bedside cabinets, a tall boy and chest of drawers in light mahogany. We are absolutely delighted with it. As it's made to order there is usually a waiting time for it, but it's well worth the wait. This is our 4th order from AKD and, as always, the quality of the furniture and customer service Andy and Isobel provide has been excellent. Andy gave me useful advice regarding design and customisation, and Isobel kept me informed throughout the process. I highly recommend AKD for their products and customer service.

Really delighted to receive our beautiful desk and chair. All arrived well packaged and delivered with care. Our order did take a while to arrive and we were forewarned of this but absolutely well worth the wait.we were informed of our furniture’s progress every step of the way.

Our new spare bed has arrived! It was easy to put together, looks fantastic, and feels incredibly sturdy and good quality; far better in every respect than I had expected. Quite envious of our guests actually! Communication on progress of construction and delivery was great, thank you very much to Isobel and the rest of your team!

I have ordered 2 Cane Barrel chairs. It took 5 months from ordering to delivery.My experience with AKD is very positive. They are very decent and responsive. The quality of the chairs is above my expectations. Everyone liked them.
The price is reasonable but I had to order the cushions separately. I strongly believe that the cushions should come with the chairs as the cost of them will be significantly less.

We purchased a partners desk from AKD. Couldn't be more pleased. Customised a few features which was made very easy with the team, design drawings produced, alterations to design made and order placed. This was followed by excellent updates on delivery, even received a tracking link to see position of the container ship carrying the desk. superb service from start to finish, couldn't fault AKD. I could not be happier with the ‘L’ shaped desk I ordered from AKD Furniture. I initially dealt with Andy who went through all the options with me (dimensions, colour, handle finish, leather etc) and he was excellent in ensuring I had the final designs of a desk that was to my specification. He sent out colour samples on a number of occasions and when I decided on the right colour, he had technical drawings put together for me to sign off on. There was a longer-than-usual wait from when I signed off on the drawings to taking final delivery of the desk (due to Christmas holidays and shipping logistics) but Isobel was EXCELLENT in keeping me updated on timings and eta of the desk to arrive. She even sent me tracking details so I could see the progress of the shipment at all times. Such a nice touch! It was 100% worth the wait. The desk is PERFECT and I couldn’t be happier with it. The finish is beautiful and the dimensions are spot on. Unfortunately I scratched the desk (my fault) and I contacted Isobel to find out if there was a touch up stain I could get from AKD. The next day, at my door was a complete wood touch-up kit. Overall the service and the product are perfect. The price is way below anything else on the market for this type of custom-made desk. Thank you to Andy and Isobel. I ordered an ‘L’ shaped desk in mid-brown. I went for green leather and a keyboard sliding drawer

We recently bought the Campaign side table and we’re so pleased with it that we decided to match it with a console table. Problem, AKD didn’t make one. What problem! We designed what we wanted and AKD made one to our specification. It arrived yesterday and it is SPLENDID!!

We ordered two Colonial Wardrobes to match our other bedroom furniture. From the outset the customer service was excellent - helping to choose the right finish, updates on the order and delivery. I cannot recommend this company more highly - its a wait for the furniture to come from abroad but totally worth it.

We wanted an unusually sized bookcase to fit in with some antique furniture. The result is superb. It is hard to distinguish from a 19th bookcase nearby. The standard of workmanship and finish are exceptional, I don't know how they do it at such a good price. It was a long wait but well worth it.

Delighted with our purchase of bed and bedside cabinets. The furniture is solid and finished to a very high standard. The delivery team were efficient and professional and the whole process was well managed in terms of communications particularly due to the long delivery time. Well worth waiting for !

I have never bought any furniture from the Internet website before, but after several month of unsuccessful search in numerous London showrooms, I have finally decided to buy the bed and two bedside cabinets from AKD.

Andy was extremely helpful in direct telephone conversations and even sent free samples of different wood finishes to help with the final selection before placing the order. AKD kept me informed of during manufacturing and delivery progress and were very helpful with arranging the delivery date.

The whole process, although longer than normal due to the Covid pandemic, was very smooth.

The furniture arrived in perfect condition and was very quickly and efficiently assembled by the delivery team. The quality is higher than expected and I intend to buy more furniture directly from AKD. Definitely highly recommend!

When my partner and I retired to a Georgian flat by the sea, we felt the furniture should complement the architecture... most importantly: the bed! After much discussion about style and contacting a number of suppliers, we felt confident that AKD Furniture could provide the piece we wanted at a very competitive price. The ordering process couldn't have been simpler, Isobel was always available to answer questions and we were even able to adjust the design slightly to accommodate a double-sided head board. The colour of the wood was the most difficult decision but AKD's samples made the final choice very easy.
Anticipated delivery time didn't account for the Covid upheaval around the globe so we had to wait a little longer than would be normal but Isobel kept us updated. The only 'less-than-5 star' element was the delivery company who operate a strange appointment system - despite lengthy communications, they still managed to fail to turn up as initially arranged. However, this little glitch couldn't dent our absolute joy when we finally received the magnificent bed! A beautiful piece of furniture, perfectly finished and fairly simple for two people to assemble. Well worth the wait!! We can highly recommend AKD Furniture for their range of products and excellent customer service.

We were very happy with our custom made cabinet when it arrived. Although it took a few months to be made and shipped, we were kept informed of progress throughout the process.

After much searching and trying find a set of drawers. I had found the style that I was after, campaign (short boy) style. AKD furniture had it all. I sent an email, I was called the next day, I was advised of how to proceed and what was involved from planning to actual drawings! A part payment/deposit to get the process started. Advised of what I wanted and specifications
I was sent a few weeks later a drawing of what the item would look like and if required any modifications/changes, once agreed onto production. I was advised it would be 3 months to have the item made and shipped.
Unfortunately due to COVID and the issues with international shipping things would take longer. However credit to AKD once again fully updated and advised of transit, delays meant item would drop until June. TBH it was disappointing, however all good things come to those who wait!!! Once in the UK communication from AKD was on point. Advised of courier contact within a few days courier company contact made, date for delivery agreed. Day of delivery, called by couriers advised of time. Couriers came placing item in my home.
When I opened it, I was blown away, WOW!!!
The craftsmanship the finish and above all it was as I had asked for. I cannot praise this company highly enough, the finished product is just stunning. Thank you so much AKD

We ordered dining table with 8 chairs and a coffee table. The furniture looks majestic. We had a fantastic, well informed service . The cost was reasonable. All went according to plan. Highly recommended . Wishing the team all the very best.

We ordered a 3 door mahogany sideboard and it’s absolutely beautiful. It looks even better than on the photo. We were a bit concerned about damages as it travelled such a long distance from Indonesia to England but it was brilliantly packaged and there is not one scratch on the sideboard.
We are so pleased with our purchase and it was well worth waiting for.

Ordered a celtic sleigh mahogany bed. Bad bit horrendous delay of 5 months or so. However the staff at AKD are extremely helpful, prompt and curtious in communications. The best bit is without doubt the outstanding quality and finish. Beautiful. Immediately ordered a desk in same range.
