Betsy has done a great job as my attorney thus far and I highly reccomend her

I hired Awan Kuza for my divorce proceedings. She was kind, attentive, prepared, and knowledgeable of what was realistic. I got what i needed and what was fair out of my divorce, and everything was set so that my 2 little kids would have what they need at both households. After proceedings were complete, post-divorce issues arose and I needed to hire Awan again. She was proactive, again kept me on track for what was reasonable, and remembered all the detailed from my divorce case 6 months prior. She professionally handles my perfectionist attitude, and she is patient and proficient. She's helping me to go for what is fair in this sensitive situation involving little kids; allowing me to stick up for myself without making it look like I am out for blood. I wanted to treat my unfortunate circumstances with grace and evidence, not just emotions and accusations, and she is allowing me to do so. I wanted to be taken seriously, especially when there are always two stories, and so far, I have felt heard by the court with Awan's assistance.

They 100% delete negative reviews, I've left and seen multiple over the years that are no longer there.
In 2021 we hired an attorney from this firm for a family courts case. We were told to hold tight, Covid still had everything backed up through the end of the year. Couple months later we called and were told they dropped us as clients, zero notice, and we'd need to repay the retainer to get things started. Over the next year they took their time filing papers and appeared for 3 Zoom hearings. The original attorney on our case left and we were reassigned without notice, they went through the entire retainer after one 20 minute zoom hearing, took money from our account without notice or approval, refused to send a single itemized list of what exactly all our money went towards. We refused to make any further payments until we saw where the money was used - Already over 4k on 3 Zoom hearings in a paternity case - and they then requested to drop us as clients. Still not one itemized receipt. Zero contact for multiple months, calls not returned, dozens of requests for a list of what exactly they did for our case and with our funds were ignored.
Now, they're suing us for 10k. They claim they had us served, no server came to our home. I was home all day and my husband was out of the house at the time they say he was served. Having no notice of the court case because we WERE NOT SERVED, we missed the hearing and the firm was granted the 10k they claim they're entitled to. Had a hearing to dispute the fact that we were served, the first they did not show for, the second the man lied saying my husband cussed him off our porch - he was not home at 10am when they claim they served him personally. We wouldn't ignore a hearing for something so ridiculous and risk losing so much money when we already paid them thousands for such poor representation.

So, not only will they do as close to nothing to represent you in court, they'll take your money without notice, refuse to explain where that money was used, cut all contact then more than double the amount they say you still owe in a lawsuit years later. Then, they'll lie about having you served by someone on their payroll, causing you to miss a hearing you have no knowledge of.
When you then try to settle this out of court, to avoid having your paychecks garnished, and pay the original balance they claim you owe - while STILL not showing you were your funds went - they'll continue to "ghost" you.
Mind you, we made multiple payments over the course of 2 years.
Unfortunately, we're not familiar with court settings and goings on. We were too trusting, too vulnerable from the events leading up to needing an attorney and eager to put it all behind us, they realized that and took advantage immediately.

We've spoke to some wonderful attorneys at other firms since all this began, I highly suggest using almost any other firm around.
After this lawsuit, we will be reporting them to the bar. We should of a long time ago.

hired a lawyer not knowing the money would flow through the Goldman law firm in addition to the lawyer. I hired her for a simple child support review. I'm not sure why but they charged for multiple mailings. It took my lawyer 3 hours to write a single motion which was $ 1,000. Never paid a lawyer so much for doing so little. After I voiced my concerns, in this review the other day, I received a message from a "Jason Goldman" who stated, they "the firm" would issue me a $ 600.00 credit if I revised my review. It was an astronomical fee for a simple child support review. I revised it as he demanded, I was still truthful. Jason Goldman messaged me again and said I didn't do what he instructed me to do, and he was very angry and said he was reneging on the credit. That in my opinion is very unethical and unprofessional. We have contacted the Michigan
Bar Association and are filing a Grievance report. I refuse to lie for money! I contacted them and asked to speak to Akiva E. Goldman as I am sure he does not condone such unethical behavior in his firm. I guess we will see if he responds??????? Or is this a common, normal accepted practice by this firm? If the lawyer who sent me the attorney grievance forms and wanted the messages I got from Jason Goldman. If you're still out there , please message me. I will be more than happy to share them with you as in my opinion they should be investigated for their questionable business practices. The lawyer assigned rescheduled everything about 4 times then quit the firm. This firm refused to represent me unless I signed something that I would not say anything bad about them. I refused and they dropped me. Their still trying to charge me for dropping me because their lawyer left them. Run! Run! Run!

This firm is the worst that I have ever seen
To start with I called Michael and told him about the situation I am with my ex wife and he assured me that he would get my case the best result possible
He sent me to Sara K. Stafford.
We paid $3500 upfront before she took the case
Long story short we lost big time on our case because Sara missed one court date and got us a substitute that don’t know a single word of my case. She was so confused in front of the judge and said she wasn’t our lawyer and has to look at the case. Those are charges before we started court
In the end of losing all the courts they sent me another bill for $4700.00 and a congratulations notes for all the bull crap they did for me which I paid because they sent it to collections right away.
I counted 128 reviews they received in one week period which are all 5 star reviews.
They buy fake reviews to get your foot in their door then your hooked to all of they fees
Jfk airport don’t even receive that many reviews a week
Unprofessional and unorganized firm that I will never ever recommend

UPDATE: Jason Urbie, a client care coordinator, has reached out to me to rectify the situation best he could. He was kind, and heard me out. It's really restored my faith in this firm and makes me believe that they are doing their best to uphold their firm's standards. If you have a problem, ask to speak with him, he will make things right. Thank you Jason, I wish we could've worked with you the entire time but now I know I can call when we're in need and be confident we will be in good hands because you're around!

Attorney Matthew Rosenthal helped me with my divorce and custody case. I fired my other attorney, and I couldn’t be happier with my outcome. The process was much smoother with Matthew. He is so kind, patient and knowledgeable. Would recommend him to anyone going through any family law case.

You wanna be treated like a product on a assembly line If you wanna be charged for unnecessary emails if your not in a hurry to file a complaint if you wanna give them $3000 and not get a refund for unused retainer then this is the attorney for you. Paid them $3000 3days later no complaint file sent emails asking for info already given on intake paperwork $485 for nothing but ok...Sent me a refund invoice and a refund receipt but the money never got to the bank they said its the banks fault I didn't receive my money...Stay Away there're not interested in you case just how much money they can squeeze from you. Use at your own risk
