This place stole almost 10 grand from me, didn’t do anything for me AT ALL. Adjournments and delays, nothing was done. My lawyer was extremely negligent. Part of my case was increasing child support and my lawyer managed to have it decreased. Hiring this law firm ruined my life, messed up my case horribly, and then they withdrew leaving me literally STRANDED. Also billing department is borderline harassing. I am so upset with this law firm. They have been reported

Terrible Experience - has this ever happened to you?

Hiring this law firm was a terrible experience. After checking the State Bar Association website and consulting with other lawyers about recommendations of a trustworthy and responsive lawyer, did I finally found David Parnell. His reviews were stellar and after completing a free consult with him, I felt good about retaining his services. Bad mistake! You see, once you retain him, there is no direct phone number to contact him, only email. When you email him, he fails to get back with you in a timely manner. When you send him extensive emails that includes items he requested in intake, or other important matters used in your case, he responses with one or two sentence email replies - replies that don’t even acknowledge that he read them. Also, when he calls you unscheduled, from a one way phone number, meaning you can’t call him back, he doesn’t recall key points in your case or like your court date or when your motion was filed. Worst part in court, he’s untrustworthy (and reading some of these reviews, I am not alone in my mistrust) Please do your research and ask questions upfront before retaining their services, like - after paying a retainer, why do I have to leave my credit card on file? Do I have a direct number to contact my attorney? Will my attorney call me, without a scheduled appointment time, from an outbound number that I can't call back into? Will my attorney sometimes rename the file names of email attachments from reasons unknown to me? If they answer truthfully (good luck with that) then I would say then buyer beware and moving forward, you have been warned. Please proceed with caution with this firm!

Scam city

Ask how long ago your assigned Attorney passed the Bar. Also, ask about hidden costs. E-Mail response that's one sentence long? That'll be $105. Need to call the secretary for 2 minutes? That'll be $20. There's a certain level of irony involved with a law firm whose pricing model should be considered illegal. Stay far away.

Goldman, good salesman, terrible lawyer.

spoke with Mr. Goldman twice, once when he was selling me on what he said he could do, and the next time when he was trying to sell me on what he did when I asked for my retainer back. After being lied to and confirming with the county court as to things that were stated, I contacted him and explained I wanted the retainer for nothing being done. I live in Texas, and originally used reviews to choose him. I see now that my case, like several others are something he takes advantage of if not in state or local.

He expressed that he did all this work and was even saying that he required more money for his services and said to refer to a blank invoice I was sent via email. When I stated that is was blank he responded that he would resend it to me. That was over a month ago. I have sent 9 emails, called 3 times and nothing. No response, no apparent invoice. This guy is a crook, and absolute fraud. How upsetting is it that this individual preys on people in need selling them an idea that he never had any intention on delivering. Lies to them about work done, utilizes several different email handles to invite confusion and provide lack of consistency. If I were you, I would avoid this person at all cost, his business tactics show a complete lack of moral fiber.

I'm giving them 5 stars

I'm giving them 5 stars! I called many law firms before I hired Matt Schultz from Goldman and Associates. Very pleased with all the hard work he put into my case and he got me exactly what I wanted.
