OMG how good were Alan Cook Removals. Searched for recommendations their name came up again and again now we know why. Great quote, load of help from friendly staff, day of the move they turned up on time with the right size lorries, Rob and Matt were brilliant, looked after our mum and refused to let her do anything. Nothing was too much trouble, they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, and made a difficult day SO much easier. Well done team, great job! Highly recommended.

Rob who packed us was a helpful, friendly and really quick at packing up our home.
James, Dan, Mark M, Chad (Colin) were fantastic at moving all our content from one home to the another. Really friendly and helped to take the stress off the day.

From beginning to end superb! From the moment I spoke to Britannia they were so helpful offering a range of solutions to fit my forever moving requirements. Nothing was to much trouble, the shift in dates were accommodated without any hesitation. My belongings were put in storage for a few months with care and the team ( Oliver & Connor )who moved me 230 + miles were fantastic as were the lovely team I spoke to regularly in the office. To sum it up they were a pleasure to do business with. I would highly recommend them.

The men were polite, friendly and very efficient. A large amount of possessions were packed, moved and unloaded as quickly as was possible. I have never seen people work as hard as Chris D. and Ben W. did, in extremely unpleasant hot temperatures. They are stars, and made a very stressful three days easier for us.

Prompt efficient and very careful. Friendly and happy to put items where needed and move it again if required.

Excellent service from start to finish
The team who moved us were absolutely fantastic. We were relocating from the Midlands to Wales, and from the outset they gave us real confidence in their ability to handle the move. They met us at the new property on the same day, working quickly yet taking great care with all of our belongings throughout. I would wholeheartedly recommend them, and Britannia as a whole, to anyone planning a move.

After 25 years in our family home, moving was always going to be emotional and stressful, but Britannia Harrison & Rowley made the whole experience so much easier.

From the initial survey, to the fantastic office team, nothing was ever too much trouble. Everything was arranged seamlessly.

On moving day, the crew were incredible. They worked tirelessly, treating our belongings with care while ensuring everything was loaded efficiently and on time.

Unfortunately, there was a long delay in receiving keys to our new house, very glad we’d taken out the Key Waiver cover. Despite the delay, the crew were patient and understanding, the office kept in touch and once got the keys, additional staff arrived to help unload, reassembled furniture and put everything exactly where we needed it. Nothing was too much trouble.

The professionalism, teamwork and willingness to go above and beyond from everyone involved was outstanding. We don’t plan on moving for a while, but if we do, Britannia Harrison & Rowley would be our first choice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable removal company in Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire.

I would like to start saying that we've used Alan cook on previous moves and they were very good.

On this occasion to say we were disappointed from start to finish would be an under statement.
If I could upload pictures I would.
Unreplaceable,sentimental possession was broken and not even an apology.
They did offer a small " good will gesture", this did not make this experience less stressful.

We used Britannia Alan Cook Removals for our recent house move. The team that came were very punctual, polite and very professional. From the dismantling of units and then reassembling at the new house was done with great care and precision. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good service.

Britannia Movers were brilliant through the whole process. Everyone we spoke to were professional and put us at ease with the whole process of moving.
On the actual day the team who came to actually move us were amazing. They did everything and made the day go with little incident - late key and completion but we were put at ease by the people in their office reassuring us. The whole process from start to end was professional, friendly and reassuring. All made so easy by Britannia movers.

Everything from survey to completing the move went smoothly.
With calls from Shirley to finalise plans for the move day the day prior.
Luke, Ben R and Craig got through moving us on one of the hottest day this June. They listened to how we wanted things packed and organised which lessened any stress. We had booked a full pack and bed dismantle and reassemble. We recommend using this service.
Everything is now unpacked ( just got to find locations for some of it in our new home now) nothing is damaged.
They collect the boxes and packing paper we just have to message.
All round good service which we will happily use again next time.

The people moving us were very efficient and helpful.

Matt D & Andy were fantastic. They were quoted a day & a half pack up and the same for delivery. They both managed to pack up and deliver within 2 days and absolutely smashed it considering the extreme heatwave we had this week.

They also move furniture in to a secondary position for us when we realised it wouldn’t work where it was planned.

Great lads, grafters, friendly and made the move as stressless as possible.

This experience was made more bearable by the cheerfulness of our two movers. Unfortunately they had to hang around before moving us due to my husband being taken ill and moved to hospital, and did so with good grace.

Efficient and smooth transition with removals.

Items to go to storage , was told they could be collected before move date , but then was told , this couldn’t happen also told flooring would be covered, this never happened , boxes were placed in wrong rooms ,at new property , our leather sofa that was going into storage was left on grass at new property to get to boxes behind it , which I wasn’t happy with , but the gentleman that did our move were very polite

The removal was done quite well only reason I didn’t give 5 stars as not all the stuff taken out where not put as boxes were clearly marked

Everything intact, no breakages despite coming from the other side of the world. Delivered exactly at the time specified. Courteous staff with pride in their experience as packers and removal experts. All the boxes sensibly labelled and stacked so the final unpacking was made easier. Heavy, awkward items no problem for them, they took great care with the bronze kiwi! We would thoroughly recommend this company.
