Bad experience from the 1st trial.....ordered and paid for the iteam which turned up not to be in stock!!!

Great service, friendly & quick to deliver

I purchased a Baume & Mercier Classima for £3,450.  The watch has never kept time gaining 2 minutes per day and was sent back to Alderley Watches for repair under guarantee.   After 3 weeks their local horologist finally confirmed that something was wrong with the time keeping and the watch was being sent to Baume & Mercier Switzerland for repair.  It should have been sent to an authorised repair centre at the start.
After patiently waiting for over 2 months and just receiving vague replies that it would be returned and repaired soon, I chose to contact Baume & Mercier London directly. My suspicions were unfortunately justified.  Baume & Mercier advised  that the watch had not been sent to their Swiss nor London office and they had no record that my watch was in for repair.    Alderley Watches then admitted in writing the watch was actually sent to the United States and not to Baume & Mercier USA but a retailer from whom they purchased the watch.  Despite continually requesting a reference repair number/repair details so I could track the whereabouts of the watch to determine if it was in the Baume & Mercier system, Alderley Watches refused to advise such details.  They just replied with vague,  no substance emails. I also checked directly with Baume & Mercier USA who also confirmed that it had NOT been sent for repair to an authorised deal within their USA network either. 

I eventually got the watch back nearly 3 months later and it still gained 2 minutes per day. I have twice requested a refund which was declined. The watch is not fit for purpose.

Upon return of the watch I then asked again who the watch had been sent to in order to determine the real facts. Had the watch actually gone in for repair in the first place ??  Once again, such contact details were refused by Alderley Watches.   

Richard Castello and Alderley Watches then went totally quiet despite being contacted on a number of occasions via Amazon.  
 
With the benefit of hindsight I learnt that I was dealing with a husband and wife operation who work from home and rarely answer the telephone.  A very frustrating experience with a dishonest and untrustworthy retailer.

In my experience, Alderley Watches are jewellers with integrity. Premier-class service AND premier-class products at very competitive prices. Thank you, Richard, for the two superb Raymond Weil watches to celebrate my Golden Wedding Anniversary ... and significant birthday.

I was initially hesitant about ordering a Raymond Weil watch online but glad I did I'm thoroughly happy with the watch it was excellent value and I cannot stop admiring it I will definitely order again from Alderley well done made my Xmas even more special!!!

Very prompt delivery kept you up to date with information. Sadly we did not buy the watch not their fault we didn't realise how heavy it was. They made a very prompt refund on receipt of the returned watch.

Apologies for the delay in reviewing Alderley Watches, I had a very tight timescale to get a particular watch for my son for christmas. I believe that Alderley went out of their way to dispatch the watch, so that I got it on time. I am very pleased with the service and product - many thanks to the staff at Alderley, I am a very happy customer and would have no doubt recommended them to anyone.

Thanks Alderley Watches, I received my Armani watch yesterday and after having the bracelet adjusted today I've worn it for the first time...looks great, thanks for the quick delivery and great service.

Bought an armani ar1400 watch from alderley watches and took it to my local watch specialist (the horology center) and they took the back off and found the wrong workings in the watch, when speaking with richard he was sure he got it from the correct dealer, plus i didnt like the fact this company isnt an authorized armani dealer, so no stamp in the guarantee book.

I paid good money for the watch as well £225, although getting a refund wasnt an issue, being sold a fake watch for that amount of money is a joke.

I wont be ordering from here again and wouldnt recommend this company to anyone who is thinking of ordering.

I have just purchased a Raymond Weil Pasifar diamond watch from Alderley Watches. I first saw this watch whilst abroad and on my return I looked on the AW website and found the same model at a far less price. I contacted AW by email and after reassurances on model, warranty etc purchased the watch ; it arrived on day promised and I am over the moon with it. The before and after service has been impeccable and I would not hesitate in recommending AW.
