I would just like to share my excellent experience derived from buying my Panerai from Alderley Watches. A superb watch at exceptional value for money and delivered securely & quickly.

I was looking for a particular Tag Heuer watch which has now been discontinued and first came across Alderley Watches selling it on Amazon at a very reasonable price. Having decided to buy it, I then received an email stating that the watch which was on Amazon was damaged and so couldn't be sold. I was then contacted and told that Richard Costello would be able to get the exact watch for me from a seller in Munich and that it would reach me in 7 days. True to his word, I was really impressed when the watch arrived on time and looked good. However, it was not accompanied by the correct box, paperwork or warranty as stated on the Alderley Watches web-site. This was all extremely important to me as without the documentation there would be no warranty. The owner of Alderley Watches did say he would track down the paperwork but also stated that the paperwork could be "easily forged" so wasn't worth getting hung up on! I decided to return the watch to Alderley Watches and buy another with all the correct documentation. It cost a few hundred pounds more but now I have piece of mind! If you are not worried about documentation or making a long term investment, I would be happy to buy from this company. I have now decided, however, to stick to the high street for significant purchases!

Initial service was good via eBay however anyone can post a box. Battery ran out just over the 12 month period and was told to replace the £2 battery myself however it actually cost £20. Surprisingly Richard Castello ignored my request for compensation !!

Richard was able to source my watch and arrange delivery under the difficult period of the Christmas rush . The price was also very competitive I would happily deal with him again.

Thanks so much for my watch. My apartment was broken into and I thought I'd never find a "vintage" watch my mother gave me. It's over 15 years old and was my absolute fave. I feel like you guys had the last watch in the world, literally!!! I could not find it anywhere. It may not have the same meaning as the one my mom gave but I love it still.

I actually rang Alderley Watches in person to make my purchase as oppossed to ordering on-line. I received a fast and friendly service, with the goods arriving the next day in excellent condition. Would recommend them to anyone.

Searching the Internet for a reliable supplier of distinctive and quality watches would be much more difficult without Alderley. Great communications throughout the whole process helped to relieve the tension built up until the exact model was found to be obtainable at a very realistic price.
The proprietor was very pleasant to deal with and has a clear customer focused ethos.

I found a watch I was looking for at their website. Communication was smooth and delivery to me in the US was fast. I will certainly check them out when next I'm looking for a rare timepiece, and will recommend them highly to anyone in the market for one.
